Chapter 32: Passionate

A/N: Behold, my wonderfully crafted outfit aesthetic for my small kitten Mariana😂❤️^^^

When the sky was at the brink of twilight, Mariana got ready for her date with Micah. She tied her hair into a high ponytail, with her shiny, defined curls rippling down like a waterfall. Her lips were painted with a deep shade of red that was like a drop of rose.

She had on a white dress that reached just past her knees. There was a sliver blue sash around her waist that was like a sculpture of water frozen in time.

She sprayed perfume so she had the scent of freshly-picked strawberries. She wore her high heels and then got her purse all ready.

Micah should be at her house any minute now. She patiently waited for him while stroking Rio who was purring all around her legs. She smiled at his softness and continued stroking his fur.

She chuckled at how soft he felt. He always made her happy, even if he couldn't talk, just feeling his coat was good enough.

She casually looked up towards the window and for a moment, a flash of light flickered. She stiffened a little and blinked in alarm. It came in a second and was gone in the next.

She stopped stroking Rio and then slowly got up as she placed him on the bed. She gulped and walked towards the window to see if there was anyone there, or if she could find the source of the light. She hoped she wouldn't find someone looking up at her window.

She rested her hands on the edge and looked over. Her eyes scanned the whole premise, looking for anything that looked remotely suspicious.

But there was nothing. Absolutely nothing.

All she saw were some trees, cars, and even Micah coming towards her house.

"Erm..." she hummed in confusion. She didn't know if that was a figment of her imagination or if it was related to what she experienced last night.

She decided that she wasn't going to dwell on it too much, so she grabbed her purse that she had left on her bed and gave a quick kiss to Rio before heading downstairs.

She was out of the house and hopped inside his car.

"Hello, my beautiful." He kissed her cheek, also becoming immersed in her intoxicating, sweet scent that was like an invisible finger beckoning him towards her.

"Mm you smell good," he said, slowly pulling away from her.

"Thanks." She blushed a little and stared down at her feet.

"You're welcome, are you ready for our date?"

"Yep!"

"That's good I also got this for you," he said and pulled up a bouquet bunch of red roses.

"Aw, thank you." She took them out of his hands and buried her face within the petals. They felt so nice, and the color was gorgeous even though it was dark.

He smiled and her and then started driving. Mariana just watched him as he gripped the steering wheel. She didn't know why, but there was something so hot about watching your man drive their car, seeing their muscles flex along with his gold Rolex. It just looked so sexy.

When they arrived at the seafood-based restaurant, he parked somewhere and they linked arms and sauntered inside.

They got a seat at a table near a window that was modestly covered by red velvet curtains. From them, was a partial view of the deep blue which looked like the oceans and the sky had switched places. Small specks of stars started to appear as the night got darker and the moon rose.

Mariana felt a sense of joy as a wide smile stretched across her radiating face. The light from the spangled chandelier beamed upon her, making her look soft like an angel.

She was happy to be spending more time with Micah, now they had the whole evening together.

Meanwhile, Micah mirrored the smile that she had on. He loved seeing her smile like that, it was much better to see than her being angry or upset. Things like that were one of the best things in the world, seeing your love cheery and full of happiness.

"So what are you going to get?" Micah finally asked as he picked up the menu.

"Um, I don't know," she said sweetly, her voice all innocent as she stared at her menu, "maybe one of the lobster dishes with a side of salad and something?"

"That sounds like a good idea, I might also get that."

"So should we get that together then?" She said and grinned up at him.

"Yeah." He closed the menu and then called a waiter over. He gave their orders and then the waiter went away for it to be prepared.

Mariana sat comfortably in her seat, her eyes had a good look around the place. The room was beautified with brownish-gold lights from the ceiling, the floor was a swirly royal blue, and people were chatting on their matching wooden seats.

"Micah," she said as she suddenly remembered something.

"Yes?"

"I don't know if I told you this but thanks for the Dior present you got me a few months ago."

He stared blankly at her and blinked in confusion. It took him a few seconds to realize what she was talking about. "Oh yeah, it's no problem." He honestly forgot that he had given her that.

"It's made my face really soft." She patted her cheeks. She loved using the cream and the serum, it even made her glow more.

"I'm glad you like it my Mariana."

She couldn't help but giggle in response,  she loved the way he said her name, it sounded like a little melody.

When their food arrived, the waiter placed it in front of them, along with a bottle of white wine.

Mariana slightly drooled and moaned at the sight. They had gotten some grilled lobster tails with lemon and herbs melted in creamy butter. Micah opened the bottle and poured both of them a glass.

She tucked into her food and then swirled the glass around before taking a sip. The liquid was golden with a hint of jade as it tasted sweet and sour with a bit of almond.

"So, how have you been since yesterday?" Micah asked casually.

"Um okay, except today I saw a flash of light from my window."

"Really? Do you think it could be the same reason that you were scared last night?"

"Maybe..."

"Do you need me to stay over with you again?"

"No it's okay, I'll be alright," she said, trying to be reassuring, mainly to herself although there was a low tone of anxiety tied into it.

"Alright, but the offer is always open."

"Thank you, Micah." She was glad to hear those reassuring words of his, it made her feel slightly better.

They continued eating and drinking more wine as the night went on. Micah kept glancing between Mariana and her food as he was thinking about doing something.

"Hey Mariana," he spoke up.

"Yeah?"

"Bring your plate over here, I want to feed you." He smiled.

"Um, okay." He pushed the plate over and Micah picked up her fork to get some food on it.

"I want to feed my fussy, sweet baby," he chuckled as he held the fork in mid-air.

"I'm not fussy!" She crossed her arms.

Micah shook his head in amusement and began feeding her as she leaned over the table. She found it quite funny and giggled a few times when the fork slipped out of her mouth.

After that, they got some dessert which was a slice of chocolate cake.

Their evening was well spent as they left the restaurant feeling satisfied and slightly sleepy.

Before going back to his car, they decided to take a brief walk through the cool night, just savoring the last bits of sweetness from their evening before it ended. The wind blew coolly, it wasn't too cold but wasn't too warm either. There was hardly anyone on the street, it was just them alone.

"Thank you for this lovely evening, Micah," Mariana said. She leaned her head on his shoulder as her fingers were intertwined with his.

"Your welcome, I'll do anything for you." He rested her head on top of her head and gave it a little kiss. He loved seeing that peaceful look on her which usually meant nothing was troubling her at that moment, and that's what he wanted. For her not to be troubled.

They stopped near an alley and kept holding hands, only they pulled away to face each other.

Even though it was only an illusion made by the stars, Mariana's eyes seemed to glisten a little as she looked up at his beautiful, hazel ones. In the soundless minutes, she could hear her heartbeat slowly. The blood rushed to her cheeks, burning them up under his intense gaze.

He couldn't stop staring at her. It was like she pulled him into an enchantment, his lovely Mariana. It felt like she was tugging his heart out of his chest, it was too attached to her, she was the only one for him.

He looked down at her lips, her perfectly-curved lips. So pink, so lush, so kissable.

He gently cupped her face, brought it towards him slowly. It felt so soft, he just loved having her in his hands.

Now they were just inches away. He tilted his head as she closed her eyes. His lips softly pressed against hers.

She kissed back when he suddenly picked her up, causing her to suddenly gasp for air before kissing him again. He squeezed her ass a little, causing her toes to curl as she gripped onto his shoulders tightly. She squealed quietly but it felt slightly good.

They continued kissing such other as they subconsciously went down the alley. Mariana ended up sitting on top of the metal box. She held onto him tightly as she pulled him closer while going more down. For some reason, making out like this in the open felt so much better.

Their tongues connected and swirled around and caressed each other. They were like flames of fire exciting them both. Every touch was like a buzz against their skin.

They pulled apart and Mariana flicked her tongue off his with a smirk. She enjoyed his touch so freaking much.

"Oh Mariana, I love you so much..." he purred, still holding onto her tightly, as he didn't want to let her go just yet.

"I love you too," she giggled amorously and kissed him again. She sat on her knees so they were leveled. He nibbled on her bottom lip and pressed her into him.

Until a red dot appeared on her forehead...
