Hey all.  How were you all these days?

So surprise!! Here's an update.

I woke up really irritated this morning. My head was throbbing. I really don't know but this was common. I had this kind of head ache usually every once a week. I was now used to it.

But I had to go to my cafe for the work. So I some how struggled to untangle my self from my bed covers and went to take a hot water shower. It actually helped a bit to decrease the pain in my pounding head.

I simply wore my dark jeans and a cute blue T-shirt with a pair of black flats. I hated wearing make up so I ended up with a lip gloss. I looked good.

I was hungry so I went towards the kitchen. On my way I found that dad, mom and Jacob were already on there on the dining table having there breakfast.

"Morning dear, come on, join us for the break fast," dad greeted me while I was looking at them. He looked happy. He was smiling.

"Morning dad, you all woke up early today," I said looking at my wrist watch.

"Yep," Jacob answered popping the letter 'P'.

I just rolled my eyes at him and took my seat beside him.

We had toast with milk and eggs for our break fast.

We chatted, laughed and really enjoyed ourselves. It was fun spending time with family.

When we were done I greeted them my bye as I had to go for my work. Jacob insisted that he will drop me on his bike as he had some sort of work near my cafe.

Thank god!! I will not have to spend for my trip.

Don't think that I'm some kind of a miser or something but this time I'm really don't want to spend my money much and add up in my savings so that I could buy a nice gift for Eve.

Yeah, she is having her birthday next week. And this is gonna be a surprise gift for her. So you people, don't even think of telling her about this.

He sat on his bike and I sat behind him wrapping my hands around his waist. I could feel his built up body and the muscles.

"So..." Jacob started to say during our silent trip. Thank god, you know I hate silence... "How's every thing going with your cafe?" He completed.

"Umm.... Every thing is good." I answered smiling to him.

"And your co-workers?" He asked looking straight on the road. I could see the seriousness on his face from the side view mirror.

"Daisy and Rubecca are the little flowers of their own world and Owen and Samuel are the bees who feed on these flowers," I answered rolling my eyes then soon smiling.

I don't know why but his face then had an expression of relief. Hm... Why?? I was wondering in my mind.

"Okay, good for me," he said then he bit his tongue indicating as if he was actually regretting for what he said.

"Good for you?? How??" I asked still confused of what he was talking about.

"Um... I-I... I mean good for me....oh... Just forget it," he stammered and sighed.

"So, we are here," he sighed out if relief when we finally reached the cafe.

"So see you later, bye," I bid my bye and rushed inside the cafe as I was already late.

"So, you finally there. I thought you were going to bunk the work even today!" Daisy exclaimed which seriously made me roll my eyes.

"Oh please don't say like that, I was really busy and had no time to even show up here," I answered her with tiring voice.

"It's okay. But you look so tired," she said with concern in her eyes.

"Yep, I am tired," I answered wearily rubbing my forehead with the back of my fist.

"Hm... So shall we start?," I asked. "Where are the rest of them?," I completed.

"They are all in the kitchen preparing for the day," she answered smiling at me.

We went towards the kitchen to meet the rest of the friends. I greeted all of them and then wore my apron.

I was feeling good to be back to the work. It was a kind of refreshment for me.

I attended a few customers when it was already the lunch hour. I decided to have a cup of coffee with muffins in the cafe it self.

While having my lunch I decided to check through my phone.

I had s few mails. One mail was stated as

  Prince sent you a message

This really made me frown.

Him: Awww...  You might be looking really cute while frowning!!

Wait! How did he know that I was frowning!?

Me: how did you know?!

Him: aah! What a guess, isn't it? You know, I'm really good at guessing things.

This really made me roll my eyes. I mean, seriously?! Who does compliment themselves?!

You.... Shouted my inner conscience.

Agh!!

Me: yeah whatever...

Him: hm... Looks like some one lost...

Agh!!

Me: oh please... lose? me? by you? Impossible.

Him: ;)

Me: who are you?? Why are you even talking to me?? Just mind your own business and don't bother!

Him: I'm just a.....

Me: just a what?

Him: well wisher

Me: well wisher? You?

Him: yep

Me: then well wish some one else and please don't irritate me.

Him: never...

what? Is he crazy or I'm imagining things? Is this shit really happening?

I just put my phone in my pocket, finished my muffins and got back to work.

Then soon the bell on the door rang and took my breath away.

"Mike" I mumbled under my breath.

"You know him?" Rubecca asked.

"Yeah he is.... Its a long story I'll tell you later," I answered.

"He is so hot," she mumbled for only me to listen popping the letter 'T'

This made me check him out.

He was wearing dark jeans and blue shirt which actually made him look hot.

Before any one of them could sense that I was drooling over him I shifted my gaze.

He took his seat. Then I found that Jack was with him.

I went to their table to take their orders. Yeah I have to act like a professional.

"What would you like to have, sir," I asked smirking towards them.

At first they both were astonished. Then I found that Mike's eyes softened looking at me. My heart took a 360° flip in my chest.

He shifted his gaze then finally Jack broke the trance.

"Oh Amanda, hi, you work here!?" Jack exclaimed waving his hand in air.

"Hey, Jack," I greeted. "Welcome. To. My. Kingdom!" I blurted each word slowly showing as if I was the queen over there and the rest of them my guests.

Both of them just rolled their eyes which made me chuckle.

"So, we just want three cups of cold coffee," Jack gave his order. I started to note it down on my order slip.

Table no.3, 3 cold coffees.

Wait! they are only two of them but three cups.

"Is Eve with you guys?" I asked them.

"Nope" Jack replied popping the letter 'p'

"Then any one else?" I asked again.

"No" he answered again.

"Then why three cups?" I questioned.

"Because it's me, Mike and you who is gonna have the cup of coffee with us," Jack answered smirking.

"What?! But..." I was just saying when Mike interrupted.

"I think you should join us," as usual he said it in a weary tone.

"But..." I was again interrupted.

"No buts and ifs, you are joining us and that's final," but it was Jack who interrupted me.

"Fine, I'll join you," I raised my hands in defeat.

"Good, now be soon and place our orders," Jack smirked.

I don't know why, but I really wanted to punch that smirk off his face and also Mike's arrogant face. I know Eve will surely sue me for even thinking like that. But my luck, it was just a thought.

It took me almost five minutes to make the coffee. I took the tray and went to the table on which Jack and of course Mike are seated.

"Coffee's ready!" I said them smiling at them.

"Finally, took you so long!" Jack exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes at him.

I was seated between Jack and Mike.

"So, how's every thing?" Jack asked while taking in a sip of his coffee.

"Every thing is all good and fine," I answered taking the sip.

"Hm.... Nice coffee!" Jack complemented me.

"Thanks" I said.

"I did not said it to you, I said it to the person who made it," he replied smirking at me.

"I made it," I said in a weary tone.

Mike snickered at this.

"Really! You made it!?" He said as if he was not believing me.

"Of course, I made it Mister," I smirked at him and he was looking really dumbfounded.

"Well believe it or not, I would love to have it every day," Jack finally complemented me.

"Well thanks," I thanked him.

Then Jack's phone started to ring. He asked for an excuse as he wanted to have some privacy while attending the call.

He left us alone. I was all alone with Mike on the coffee table.

I was really feeling awkward in the killing silence.

"Nice coffee," Mike said with a small smile.

To say I was surprised was really an under statement, I was shocked.

"What? T-Thanks...." I stammered like a fool.

"Actually, I'm sorry," he said with a blank face.

Here, I was dumbfounded by now.

"Sorry? What for?" I asked him really shocked.

"For yesterday," he still wore a blank face.

"You need not be," I said him.

But this time he did not reply. Jack returned and took his seat.

"So, I think we must leave," Jack said.

They both got up from their seats when the bell on the door rang again. It was Jacob.

"Hi, Blondie!" Jacob hugged me tightly.

"Hey" I greeted him.

Jack cleared his throat and we pulled away.

"We feel ignored," Jack made puppy eyes.

"Oh guys, he is Jacob, one of my best friend. And Jacob they are Jack and Mike," I introduced them to each other.

Jack and Jacob shook their hands smiling at each other but when it was Mike's turn to shake hand but he, as usual he was wearing a blank face.

Then Mike took his phone out and started doing something with it.

Then soon Jacob's phone started to beep.

The both got busy in their phone. I and Jack stood there chatting when my phone beeped.

It was from Facebook.

Prince sent you a message.

I frowned at it.

Him: who is that guy with you busy in phone? :/

Wait! How did he know?!

I looked at both Mike and Jacob both of them had neutral expressions. But how is that possible?

Me: how do you know?

Him: just answer me!

Me: there are two people here, one is my best friend and other one is just a friend.

Wait, why did I answer him? Who the hell does he think he is? But the damage is now done.

Him: okay

And there you go my phone was running out of battery and switched off.

Really! This had to happen?!

And when I saw both of them again they both were wearing an expression of relief.

I really was not understanding. What just happened?
