Hello folks!! Here's another chapter for you all to get bored. And I won't drag it much. So there you go!

The day of the party:

I woke up early this morning since there was a lot to do today. It was the party day. Yesterday, I along with Rebecca and Daisy baked cup Cakes of different patterns and style. We made many other things like brownies, muffins, cakes and a surprise cake for Mike. I hope he likes it!!

I don't know how to express my feelings. I feel both nervous and excited at the same time. I really hope I do well!!

I quickly got ready in formal black trousers and white shirt with a black coat upon. I had my breakfast in a hurry and headed towards the door. I decided to take my mom's car.

I turned back and went to my mom's bedroom. The door was locked. May be they were asleep. I thought not to disturb them and went to the kitchen. I quickly took the note pad and searched for a pen in my hand bag. I found it and wrote a note to mom.

Hey mom,

I'm taking your car with me. I may need it today. Call me if you need to go out and need the car. I will get someone to drop the car at home. Okay mom. Bye. Love you lots...

Amy.

I put the pen back on my hand bag and sticked the note on the fridge door.

Then I took the car keys and left to my work. Today I first had to go to the cafe. I had booked a small truck which would carry the cakes and other food stuff. It is specially designed to carry food. It is refridgerated. It might reach there any time soon, so I will have to rush out fast.

Five minutes later, I reached the cafe and found the truck standing there at the entrance. I quickly got down the car and went towards it.

I approached Daisy and Rubecca, "So the truck is here!!" I said sighing as I looked at the truck.

"For gods sake! This is not a truck!! It's a carrier!!" Daisy said rolling her eyes.

"Yeah what ever!! Lets load it now!!" I said rolling my eyes at her and went to get the stuff.

Rubecca and Daisy helped me load all the stuff carefully. In the mean time, I called Mike. He answered at the third ring.

"Hey Amanda!! What happen?? Why are you calling so early??" He asked from the other side. May be he was sleeping. God! He sounded damn hot while saying that. But its already 11:00 in the morning. And he is still asleep?? Wow!! Any Ways, never mind!

"I just wanted you to order some tables so that I could decorate the sweet tables. I need about 10 large size round tables. Can you do it??" I asked him hopefully. I hope he agrees. This will reduce my work load.

"Yeah sure!! I'll do it. Any thing more??" He said. Thank god he agreed!!

"No. That's it. Thanks, it will help a lot." I said smiling to my self.

"Oh the pleasure is all mine!" He said.

I blushed at what he said. I was about to reply when I heard Daisy call me.

"Okay. Gotta go. I'll see you tonight."

Bye!!" I said and hung up. I didn't even hear what he was saying. I sighed to my self and went to her.

"Okay. Amy, look we have put every thing in the fridged zone and also we put some marshmallows and candies along with some glass jars and bowls and any thing we might need to decorate the tables. Do you want to add up or remove any thing? We can do it right away!" She said looking at the truck. Then she looked at me.

I took no time to hug her. She jerked a bit but hugged me back.

"You know Daisy, you are the best!" I said to her and pulled away. She just giggled at bit and said "oh, well that I am." We both laughed a little when some one interrupted.

"You both.... You left me and hugged!!" She made a puppy dog face. Who could say no to that cute face.

"Awee... Come here." I gestured her to come to us. Immediately, she grinned and rushed towards us. We hugged. God! She is so cute and innocent.

"Well, where are the boys? I haven't seen them the whole time." I said looking at both of them.

"They went to get stuff we need to make the surprise master piece Cake. Remember we still have to do it?!" Rebecca said.

Oh! Yeah how can I forget?!?

"Okay! So as soon as they come, we will first have something then work on the cake. Its almost lunch time." I said and they nodded.

We went inside and sat on one of the tables. Cafe was closed for the day because we always were closed when we were doing an event. I removed my coat and put it on the table.

We relaxed for a bit. It was almost about 11:45 when the boys arrived. They bought flour, milk, butter, icing sugar, fondant sheets and few more things.

We started doing our work by about 12:30. We had our lunch before so we started working.

Rebecca made the batter for the cake. Samuel and Owen were doing some other work for the preparation. Daisy was taking the coffee beans and coffee powder to the truck.

"Hey Daisy! Don't forget the coffee maker! All the beans and the powder would be of no use without them!" I said to her while she was walking.

"Noted!!" She yelled back. I just shook my head at her and arranged the fondant sheets according to their requirements and then I worked on the icing cream. I made about two flavours of them. Vanilla and chocolate, to emphasise the business and contemporary theme of the party. I also laid the surprise element of the cake on the table.

You want to know what the surprise is?? Then you gotta wait till the party starts!! I'm not gonna tell you that soon!!

By the time I was done making the icing, the cake was baked up and ready. I brought it out of the oven and let it get cooled.

It was a rectangular cake. So when it was cooled up enough, I put the white fondant sheet on the cake and cut the excess of it out.

I made the small designs to the corners of the cake. I don't like to boast my talent, but the cake looked great till now. I even put the edible white pearl candies on the cake.

Then I placed the surprise element on the cake. After a few more finishing touches, I smile to my self looking at the cake.

Daisy came and stood beside me. I turned to look at her. She was staring at the cake with an open mouth. I chuckled at her reaction. She then turned her face to me and grinned brightly. I returned the grin equally to her.

"You know, you've done a great job. People will be dumbstruck to see the cake!!" She said and hugged me tightly. I just smiled at her.

Then I put the cake carefully in a box and then on the trolly and move it to the truck.

It's not a truck! It's a carrier you fool!! My inner conscience!! Ugh!! Just forget it.

I rolled my eyes at myself and took the trolly to the tr- er.. carrier.

Hm.. good!

Oh just shut up will you??

I then reached the carrier and put the cake box safely in a corner.

This is the surprise thing which we planned. If this don't work out, the entire sweet table will be destroyed. And I can't let that happen.

When I was done with the work, I saw the Time in the wrist watch I was wearing. It was already 3:00 in the afternoon.

Now we had four more hours till the party starts. So I guess we must keep going.

I called Daisy, Rebecca , Owen and samuel to the gate.

"Are you done??" Samuel asked.

"Yep I'm done, and we must keep going. We only have four more hours left to finish our table." I said looking at each of them. They looked pretty excited about the table.

We had organised some such parties before. But this one is the huge one. Before we had small parties of common people. But this party is not normal. This the billionaires Tayson's party and this is really big thing for us. I really hope it goes on well!! Fingers crossed!!

Soon we drove to the location of the party. The Tayson's mansion.

The place never fail to leave me awestruck. The place really facinates me.

As we parked our vehicles, I saw the decorations in the garden. The stage was in the front of the mansion, where Mike is supposed to give his speech.

Thinking of Mike, I saw him approach us. Speak of the devil!!

Oh! Don't lie me. He is an angel!!

I shook my head on the thought. Mike came to me and he was smiling. God!! he looks so damn hot when he smiles!!

I smiled at him too.

"Hi Amy!" He said looking at me. He was staring at me with I don't know, longing? In his eyes. I couldn't help but stare at him too.

After as few seconds, I heard some one clear their throat. I shook my head out of my trance and turned around.

"Amy, you know you make us feel neglected!!" Owen said showing fake hurt on his face and touching his heart with is hand.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Right!!" I said and turned back to Mike.

"Um.. Mike, these are my colleagues slash friends. This is Rebecca, Daisy, Owen and this is Samuel." I said pointing to each of them.

They waved their hands at him and said their hellos. They shook their hands with Mike.

"Okay, so Mike, where are the tables?? Did you order them??" I asked him.

"oh yeah, they are all piled up there. Just tell the workers where you want to put each table and how. Wait! I'll come with you." He said looking at me. I just nodded.

"Um.. Rebecca, get all the stuff ready. And make sure for that thing." I said her hinting to the cake. "Don't get it out." I mouthed to Rebecca.

She gave me a thumbs up and went towards the tru- er.. carrier. Oh god!! What is the difference if it is called a truck or carrier. Ugh!!

I turned to Mike and he gestured to come with me. I walked with him to the pile of tables. You must be thinking, how can the tables be piled?? Are they nuts??

Well, so you know, they were folding tables. So they were piled up in two rows.

Any ways let's get back to work.

I walked along with him to the tables. Mike called out the workers and I gave them the instructions for where to put the tables. Ones the tables were put in their places, I called the guys and girls from where they were standing.

They came and stood in front of me.

"Guys, the tables are arranged along with the main table and we don't have much time left, so let's start the work??" I asked looking at each of them.

At first they looked at each other and then looked back at me. "Yes ma'am!!" They said looking innocent.

I just shook my head and they started to laugh.

"You know.. haha.. you look like you are going for a war.. haha.." I just shook my head at them. And looked at Mike. He was amused of the scene in front of him too.

Soon their laughter died down and they started to work.

After telling them what and where to put the things, I joined them too.

On few of the tables, we put colourful candies in the transparent glass jars, marshmallow lollypops in different patterns, then cup cakes and so on.

We even added a chocolate fountain on one of the tables for people to dip the different lollypops in the chocolate and eat. We put many types of lollypops like, strawberries, normal candies, marshmallows and many more.

We put every thing on the tables except for the secret element of the table. We left the space blank and decided to put the cake later when the party starts.

"Why is the space blank??" Mike asked pointing his finger to the place.

I just smiled at him. "You will know about it ones the party starts." I said and turned around to go.

"Hey, where are you going??" He asked frowning a little.

"I have to change remember?? I can't attend the party like this?! I said him pointing at myself.

He stared at me from head to toe and then shook his head. At first I thought that it was so creepy but then I let go of the thought and looked at him.

"Umhm! Definately not!! You can't wear this!!" He said.

"See!! I said I need to change. So I'll go??" I said while turning around.

"Wait!!" I heard him say.

I looked at him, "yeah?"

"Actually, I have a dress for you. You can wear it." He said shyly.

Wow!! The CEO is kind of blushing!! Nice.

"No. It's okay! I have a dress. I'll wear it." I said him.

"Take it as a gift from me for the party?? Please??" Mike almost pleaded in front of me.

"But..." I was saying when he cut me off. "Please??" He said again.

I sighed a bit. "Fine! Where is the dress??" I asked.

He grinned. "Just come with me." He said and pulled me by my hand with him.

I sighed and went along with him. He took me to his room.

His room was a huge one. I must say my whole house wouldn't fit in it. And I mean the lower portion. The room had a very modern touch of interior with grey and white. It had a very vibrant feeling in it.

While I was looking at the room, Mike went inside his closet and brought out the dress.

The moment I saw the dress, my mouth was hung open. THE DRESS WAS DAMN BEAUTIFUL. (A/n: the pic of the dress)

It was a sea blue strap less dress which reached to my thighs from front and reached to my feet from the back. There was a beautiful satin belt on the waist which had a bow on it. All in all it looked beautiful.

I looked at him and he looked nervous.

"I got this dress, I hope you like it." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Like? Are you kidding me?!?! I love it!!" I said taking the dress from his hands.

He grinned. "I'm glad you like it!" He said. "So I'll leave you to change??" He asked.

"Wait! Mike, can you get my bag?? It's with Rubecca. I need it for make up." I asked looking hopefully at him.

"Yeah sure!" He said and went out of the room closing the door behind him. I sighed looking at the door and then looked back at the dress.

I quickly got into the dress and then looked at myself in the mirror. I just kept staring at myself. The dress hugged my curves perfectly as if it was made for me and only me. I hugged myself and sighed. Then I heard someone knock at the door.

"Amanda? May I come in??" I heard Mike say from the other side of the door.

"Yeah! Come in!" I said.

He came in holding my bag. "I got your...." he was saying but stopped when he saw me.

He was staring at me with some expression I couldn't make out. "What? Does this dress not suit me??" I asked pointing at my dress.

"Are you nuts?? If the dress doesn't suit you then I would shout aloud that I love rainbows and unicorns!!" He said. I laughed at his choice of words. This definately mean that the dress suits me. Other wise no guy would say that. "Okay so I believe you." I said taking the bag from his hand. And he just grinned.

I opened the bag and looked out for the stuff I have. Make up? Check. Hair accessories? Check. Jewellery?? Check. Heels?? Che- no check!! Oh god!! Where are my heels?? Holy shit!! I forgot to bring them!!

"Oh god!! I don't have my heels!!" I said holding my head.

"Hey don't worry! I can get you heels. I'll get you the heels from my sister." He said and then rushed out of the room.

I thought to put on my make up till Mike comes back.

I clipped my hair up messily letting a few strands running down my face. I then wore my heart necklace which my mom gave me when I turned 18. Then I wore earrings made of fake diamonds. Of course I will never be able to afford the real diamonds. But I can wear the Jewellery which is fake but looks real, in the family gatherings, right??

Then I applied a little mascara on my lashes and put on the lip gloss. When I was done with the make up I looked at myself in the mirror. I was left speech less. I looked really beautiful. I loved what I saw in front of me.

"Beautiful." I heard Mike say from behind of me. I turned around to look at him but he was standing so close to me. Our faces were only inches apart. He was staring at me right in my eyes.

"You look really beautiful tonight." He said dropping the heels on the floor and cupping my face with his hands. The breath in my lungs got stuck inside. I just stared in his eyes.

"No! Actually you are beautiful." He said. I just blushed and bit my lower lip looking down.

He held my chin and made me look up into his eyes.

We stared into each others eyes. He then claimed my lips into his. His kiss was gentle on my lips. It left the tantalising effect on my body. After few moments, when I was running out of breath, I pulled back.

We both were panting for the breath. "We are getting late Mike." I said and moved away from him.

I then bent down to pick my heels up and went towards the bed and sat upon it to wear the heels.

"Wait!" He said and I looked at him.

"Yeah?" I asked him. He walked towards me and sat on his knees in front of me. "Let me do it." He said taking the heels from my hand.

"No!!" I said immediately. "No don't do it. You don't have to!" I said.

"I want to!" He said and put my leg on his leg. "But..." I was saying when he cut me off. "Shhh! I said I want to. So let me." He said and I just sighed.

He slowly put the heel on my feet. His touch sent tickling sensation on my legs. I shivered at his touch but then covered it soon so that he would not know about it.

When he was done we both stood up. "So! I guess we must leave?" I said looking every where but him. "Yeah. Let's keep going." He said. When he was walking out, I noticed that he changed into his dark tuxedo. How didn't I notice it before!! He looked really breath taking in his office look. His hair was messy like he took a shower just now.

We soon reached the garden where the party was held. Guests started to arrive. Most of them were looking at the tables and smilies. May be they liked the work we did.

Mike then went to receive the guests. I then made my way to Rebecca and people. They were all changed too. And they all looked really good. Rebecca wore a red dress which reached her knees. Daisy was sporting the simple yet elegant look. And the boys looked handsome.

When I approached them, they all gasped. "God!!Look at you Amy!!" Rebecca exclaimed. "Yeah! You look stunning!" Daisy completed.

I chuckled at them and they took me into a bone crushing hug.

"Yeah Amy! You look awesome tonight!" Owen said. "Agreed!" Samuel said agreeing to him.

"Thank you guys! Well you all look nice too." I said but then I heard some one on the microphone.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen! I'm glad you all showed up." Mike said through the microphone.

"As you all could see we have many beautiful desert tables here and there. This tremendous work is done by a very good friend of mine, Amanda Reynolds and her colleagues Rebecca, Daisy, Owen and Samuel. I thank them a lot for this work of them." He said and we all smiled. He then searched for someone in the crowd and then his eyes landed on me.

"So I request them all to please come up on the stage?" He asked through the microphone. I hesitated at first but the was being pulled up by my crazy friends towards the stage. I sighed and kept walking.

When we finally reached the stage Mike smiled at me. I gladly returned the smile.

"So now I would like to call miss Amanda Reynolds to speak a few words on the occasion." He said making his way towards me. He then took my hand and took me to the microphone.

I stood in front of it. I didn't had any problem to speak in front of the crowd. I was used to give the speeches in front of the crowd in my school and college.

"Good evening every one. At first I'm really glad that you liked our work. It means a lot to me and my cafe." I said.

"As you can see, there is an empty spot on the main table." I said pointing to the table. People looked at the table and the back at me.

"Yeah. So actually we planned a surprise for Mr. Mike for his new post and all the success he had all these days. It's like a congratulation gift for him." I said. "So guys?" I said looking at Owen and Samuel and gestured them to go and get the cake. They nodded and left.

"So people, my boys have gone to get the surprise. So let's wait and watch." I said and gave the microphone phone back to Mike.

Then soon the boys came with the cake which was covered with the box.

The boys came with the cake on the stage. They put it on the table. I jestured Mike to open the box.

He just looked clue less and opened up the box. When he removed the lid. He was left dumbstruck. He then grinned and hugged me tightly.

"This is insane! How could you do it? Oh god! Thanks a lot." He said in the microphone.

Actually it was a cake with his pictures, on it done with the icing sugar, which had him giving speechs or receiving some kind of award. We took the help of the newspaper cuttings and business magazines. I'm glad he liked what we did for him.

He then showed the cake to the audience and described about what was on the top of it. People clapped loudly for the cake.

Then Mike cut his cake. It was really good to see him happy. Wait? What did I say just? Well let it go for now.

Then the cake was placed on the table so that the people can have it.

I then excused myself to go to the washroom. I went and did my job and was returning when I felt something prick my back sharply.

I turned around to see who it was but before I could look at the person. Every thing became blur and I passed out.

I was been woke up by a splash of water on my face. Well who does that?? I looked around the room but nothing was visible. It was a dark room with only a single bulb glowing above my head.

"What the hell?" I said looking at the person in front of me. "Why did you bring me up here??"

"Well well sweetheart! Don't worry you are all safe here." That person said. Why do I feel that his voice is familiar.

"Who are you??" I asked struggling through the ropes.

The man then bent down so that I could see his face. I gasped when I saw who it was. "Tada!!" Jacob!!!!
