"He's a monster, can't you see that?" Oscar asked and I glared at him.

"Look at him, does he look monster to you?" I asked back pointing at Gaara.

Gaara was crying and so I was.

"We don't care. He'll forever be montser in our eyes."

"Don't include our." Niall spoke and everyone look at him.

"What do you mean?" Oscar ask.

"What I mean is, you're the only one who's saying he's a monster. I'm out of here." Niall explained and he left.

Then everyone returned their attention to me.

"Nevermind him. Your choice Jessica. Us... or the monster?" Oscar asked again but I didn't reply.

I look at Gaara and saw in his eyes that he have half hope and half disappointment. Then he mouthed 'Go on, I'll be fine.'

"Jessica, you have to choose. Choose us and we'll forget everything that happened here and we can play again. Choose him and you'll be a freak to us and we'll forget that you were even our friends." Oscar explained and I clench my fist.

I look one last time to Gaara and he was encouraging me to choose Oscar and the others rather than him. He half nod and mouthed 'I'll be fine.'

I thought about it. This might be the hardest decision I would have but whatever decision I will make can change something. I took a deep breathe then sighed. I look over to Oscar and the rest. I stepped backwards until I was beside Gaara.

"I'm sorry Oscar, but I don't deserve a friend like you." I muttered and they all gasp.

Gaara's POV

Jess stepped backwards until she was beside me. Everyone gasp at what she said including me.

"So you rather be a freak and be with the monster?" Oscar ask and it hurt my heart.

"Yes because you know why? It's because Gaara is my real friend and he doesn't make me choose between one or another. He doesn't call my friends a monster or a freak. He's fun to be with and he doesn't hurt his friend or hold them on the hair when they get annoyed!" Jess shouted which made the pain in my heart disappeared.

She... she stood up for me.

"Fine, if that's what you want then you're forever an enemy to all of us... freak!" Oscar said with sarcasm in his voice.

"That will be fine by me." Jess exclaimed then they all left, leaving me and Jess alone.

Jess had stopped crying while I continued crying. I felt a hand on my left shoulder so I opened my eyes and saw Jess starring at me.

"Why are you crying?" She ask.

"B-because I made you loose your friend and make you a-a freak like me." I replied with a crack on my voice.

She then embrace me so I hug her back.

"W-why did you choose me?"

"Because I realize that you are the real friend I have. Friends shouldn't be criticising other people's friends. Friend should understand each other and most of all, friend trust each other not hurt each other." She explained and I felt myself blush.

I suddenly felt butterflies in my tummy. Is this... love?

We finally pulled away at each other then we continued playing soccer. When the dawn came, we stopped playing.

"Guess I'll see you tomorrow." She said and I smiled.

"Y-yeah. See you tomorrow." I exclaimed.

I didn't want her to leave yet but I had no choice. Before she left, she hugged me tightly then she ran home. I walked back to my place with a grin on my face. When I entered, Temari and Kankuro looked at me awkwardly.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing..." Temari trailed off.

"It's just... you're smiling." She finishes and I giggled.

"Well someone's blooming today." Kankuro muttered and I chuckled.

"Are you okay Gaara?" Temari ask.

"I'm better than okay." I smiled.

"Ooookay, he's creeping me out." Kankuro whispered to Temari but I heard it.

Temari smash him on the head.

"BAKA! WHY DO YOU NEED TO WHISPER IF HE CAN HEAR IT!" Temari shouted which made me laugh then they widened their eyes.

"Are you sick Gaara or what? Cause you're creeping me out." Temari rubbed the back of her hair.

"I met a friend." I said cheerfully and at first they didn't believe me but then they did.

"A friend aye? What gender?" Kankuro asked with a creepy look.

"It's a girl." I replied.

"Is she hot?" Kankuro ask and Temari smashed him on the head again.

"BAKA! YOU'RE SUCH A PERVERT!" She screamed.

"Anyway, what's her name Gaara." Temari said softly.

"Jessica. But her friends called her Jess so I call her Jess." I replied.

"Hmmm, do you know her last name?" This time it was from Kankuro.

"Nnnnn...o." I said.

To think abou it, she didn't tell me her last name. I wonder why.

Jessica's POV

When I arrived at home, mummy and daddy were in the kitchen. I smelt FOOD! Which were lasagne, meatballs and spaghetti. All of my most favourite foods. My tummy rumbled and I went in the kitchen immediately. Mummy and daddy saw me immediately, then they both hugged me and kiss me on the cheeks.

"How's our Birthday girl?" Daddy ask while tickling me.

"Good... good." I replied laughing.

"Is our Birthday girl hungry?" Mummy ask.

"YES! YES!" I squealed then daddy puts me on a chair in front of the table.

They then place a plate full of spaghetti, lasagne and meatballs. I ate it stuffing it in my mouth. Mummy and daddy ate as well and they were laughing at me.
