"Nah, that's fine. Having you as my new friend is a great present for me." She smiled and I think I blush.

"Anyway, I have something for you. It's just a simple gift." She added reaching something from her pocket.

Then she hold my hand and put something in it. I opened it and saw a red crystal shape like a heart. I was... speechless and very very happy at the same time.

"W-what is this for?" I asked.

"Well that my friend, is a sign of my friendship towards you. It's a promise that I will trust you, be there for you when you need me, support you and never leave you alone. That's a promise of a lifetime." She explained and I felt butterflies in my tummy.

This feelings... I want more of it.

"T-thanks. But I should be the one giving you a gift because it's your Birthday and not me." I muttered.

"Did I forget to tell you that you being my friend is also a present?"

"Yes you had said that."

"Then stop thinking about giving me a present okay?"

"O-okay." And with that, we started playing soccer.

It was so fun playing with her. She was quite fast but I was faster than her. I feel like I'm in heaven with her. Everything was amazing until her friends came back and ruined our moment.

One of the guy who has black hair, brown eyes, who was wearing a blue T-shirt and black pants pushed me, making me fall to the ground. A blonde hair, blue eyes, white T-shirt and blue pants went in front of Jess like he was protecting her.

"OSCAR! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Jess shouted.

"He could had hurt you!" The guy that pushed me which was named Oscar, yelled.

The blonde hair guy turned to face Jess.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" He ask.

"I'm fine Niall but my friend over there is not alright." Jess replied.

"You mean Gaara? He's not your friend." The Niall guy, hold Jess on both of her shoulders.

"Yes he is!" Jess protest and she's trying to escape Niall.

"Now you listen Gaara..." Oscar trailed off.

"YOU STAY AWAY FROM OUR BEST FRIEND JESS OR YOU'LL BE SORRY!" He finishes and he spat on me.

I felt a tears streaming down my face.

"LET ME GO NIALL! OSCAR, HE'S MY FRIEND!" Jess protested.

"This monster will never have a friend Jess! We're your friends!" Oscar shouted then he walked towards Jess.

Jessica's POV

Niall was still holding me but I'm to weak to fight him. Oscar then stood beside him with full of anger in his eyes.

"Let her go." Oscar ordered and as soon as Niall let me go, Oscar grabbed my hair, facing me to Gaara.

"Now Jessica, would you rather be with a monster or with all of us?" Oscar asked me and I know he's really angry for he called me by my full name.

"Oscar... please... you're hurting me." I whined trying to take his hand off my hair.

"CHOOSE JESSICA CHOOSE!" Oscar shouted, tightening his grip to my hair and I cried.

"Oscar please, you're hurting me!" I exclaimed but he didn't let go.

I closed my eyes and the next thing I know, I was on the ground kneeling. The pain on my head disappeared and I look back at Oscar. He was surrounded by sands.

"AHH! LET ME GO!" He yelled and my other friends back away.

I look over to Gaara and his eyes were full of anger. He was now standing on his feet.

"YOU CAN HURT ME, SPIT ON ME, CALL ME A MONSTER OR ANYTHING YOU WANT AND YOU COULD EVEN RUN AWAY FROM ME. I DON'T MIND AT ALL FOR I'M USE TO IT. BUT I WILL NOT LET YOU HURT MY ONLY FRIEND JESS. I WILL KILL YOU!" Gaara growled and it sent chills down my spines.

Gaara... stop! Gaara... please stop!

The sand on Oscar was now covering his whole body.

Gaara... please... stop!

"GAARA, PLEASE STOP!" I yelled and Gaara flinched.

He looked at me then his eyes started filling up with tears. He lowered his hand and I look over to Oscar. The sand that was wrapping him before, fell down on the ground.

I went back up to my feet and I was standing between Gaara on the left and all of my friends that I had been playing with since I was four on the right. Oscar glared at me but I didn't care. The others have shock face. Niall was looking at me worriedly.

"Who would you rather choose Jessica, us... or him?" Oscar asked with anger in his tone.

I widened my eyes and I was shock. I can't choose between my friends. I know I only met Gaara today but the rest had been important to me. We been together now for such a long time so... but... why would he let me choose? Can't he just be happy for me?

"Oscar... I can't." I muttered and he scoff.

"You must choose Jessica because we don't want him to be playing with us. He's a monster and we're human." Oscar exclaimed and I got annoyed.

"YOU THINK HE'S A MONSTER?! HAS HE DONE SOMETHING BAD FOR ALL OF YOU TO HATE HIM?! ALL HE HAD DONE IS HELP AND GET THE BALL DOWN SO WE CAN ALL CONTINUE PLAYING AND YET ALL YOU DO IS RUN AWAY AND SAY BAD STUFF!" I cried and they all widened their eyes.
