Part 2

Ex's fell hard and crashed onto a small island. He cursed under his breath as he struggled to stand up. In front of him were a few chests and a large looming nether portal. 'This wasn't what I remember seeing?' Ex thought. He sighed and pushed on his legs to lift himself to his feet. He struted forwards and walked over to the chests, his shirt tail flinging out behind him. He needed materials as fast as possible, and he was sure the hermits wouldn't mind if a few materials were gone. 'It would soon all be gone anyway.' He thought as he opened a chest to reveal a ton of useless items. He murmured to himself in annoyance as he went through all of them, ending up with nothing. Ex realised he was wasting time and quickly glanced up at the large biome island in front of him. 'The Shopping District.' The hermits would always make their main shopping area huge and recognizable, with their different themed shops and other shenanigans. Ex looked at the nether portal and sighed. Ex crossed the small island and approached the portal. He stepped up and into the violent purple swirls. He opened his eyes to the smoldering heat of the nether. He never really liked the nether, the red waste land just was always too hot. The heat brought memories of that 4 by 4 pit back into his thoughts. He shoved them away and began to walk deeper into the deadly biome. He descended down a pole of weird vines and landed on the black floor of the presumed Nether Hub. Ex looked out through the cyan windows to see the large never ending landscape of the nether. A tunnel made of weird material branched out in one direction and he saw that it led to a large blackstone pyramid. Ex turned to see a large Nether portal in the center of the main hub room. Ex looked at the hub, 'The portal to the shopping district must be in the center.' Ex thought to himself. He once again entered into the purple swirls and in seconds opened his eyes to see the over world. He stepped out into the center of the shopping district, he looked around to see large trees, full of diamonds looming from above. He looked upwards to see a towering brick building. He looked around for any sense of life. 'Nothing,' He smirked as he slowly made his way into the circle of shops. Ex looked to his right to see a large floating barge. He didn't realise it was a barge until he saw it was surrounded by water. The building was huge and from what he could see through the large glass walls, sold a lot of goods. Ex smiled and walked inside. His red eyes scanned the shelves and labeled chests. Soon in the corner he saw what looked like a stone axe. Ex ran across the wooden floor and picked the axe up out of its case. The blade of the axe was much cleaner and sharper than stone, and now that he looked at it, was a much darker shade. It was also much lighter and cleaner than stone. He looked at a tag that was attached to the handle, in bright black ink it read, 'Netherite Axe'. Ex looked at it in shock. Netherite to his knowledge had only been used by ancient nether civilizations. Those civilizations then traded that material to the end cities and Watchers, who lived in the end, a completely separate biome from the nether. Cold and empty. It seemed that the hermits and possibly more had figured out how to mine and harvest it for themselves. Ex slid the axe handle down his leg and through two small holes, letting the axe sit against his pants. He then continued around the "barge" and stole a few more items. An ender chest for easy storage, ender pearls for quick teleportation and escape routes, and a few golden carrots. The Void didn't even realise how hungry he was until he spotted the yellow vegetables. He really hadn't eaten anything in a very very long time. In that pit he had trained himself to not need food for long amounts of time, but now food was in his reach, and he took it. Ex knew he couldn't be out in the open for long, so he didn't bother looking at the other shops and began back towards the main nether portal. He glanced upwards at the beautifully made trees that he had crossed under before. He cringed at the diamonds that dangled down from branches. Their pride disgusted him, and Ex was now even more determined to see them burn. He side stepped into the portal and glanced one more at the crowded district. He didn't have time to look around, He had a brother to find.

X woke up to find that he had fallen asleep at his desk, the map he was working on completed in front of him in almost perfect detail. His helmet was laid next to him along with some pencils and tools he had not picked up. The bee man sighed and groggily wobbled up out of his chair. The sudden motion caused his head to spin, his hand to slam down on the table to try not to fall. He had his helmet off for too long again.

"Dᔑᒲリ ╎ℸ ̣" X whispered under his breath, his checks glowed as the curse escaped his mouth. Still light headed, X reached around the table to try to grab his helmet. Once his hand touched the hard metal he sighed in relief. But before he could even place it on his head, he felt two hands grab the sides of the helmet. They pulled his only source of air away from him. X spun around in alarm to see a man looming in front of him.

"Miss me Suma?"

X froze as he saw the figure before him. 'I-I thought you were gone?!' His head screamed, how was he back? 'How are you back' He tried to speak but nothing came.

"Really? Nothing to say to your brother, pity. Because I have much to say to you." X's brother, Ex, the one that X had banished years ago, was standing here in his base. X said nothing as he summoned his netherite sword(Unlike the rest of the hermits, X had the ability to pull stored items out of thin air. Admin perks ;3). The clang of netherite against netherite sounded throughout the room. X stared at his brother in shock as his brother held a netherite axe against his sword. "That's one way to get your message across." X stared at him, searching for his brother's familiar blue eyes with his own green. But all he could see was the cold glossy shield of the helmet. Ex's axe came crashing down against X's sword. The hermit wasn't prepared and sloppily blocked the attack, his head spun as he tried to stand his ground. X almost couldn't see now, his lungs had emptied of all air, but there was nothing to fill the space. He felt something slam into his back as he collapsed to the ground, his knees painfully scraping against the quartz floor. He looked up in fear as Ex towered over him, his vision fading in and out. Ex leaned down and placed a hand under X's chin.

"I-Im..sorry," X stuttered as he tried to gasp breath. Ex tilted his head and through the shield X could almost make out a smile.

"And I'm not," Ex sneered. X didn't have time to brace himself as the blunt end of the axe clashed against his skull, submerging him in pure darkness.

Ex stood in silence over the now unconscious Xisuma. He knew X hadn't meant what he said, it had felt so good to see him so helpless. Ex leaned down and grabbed his brother's arm. He twisted it to reveal a small keypad. 'X's admin pad.' The device allowed for admins to be able to channel and use their magic, without it admin magic was pretty much useless. He grinned, grabbing the device roughly. Oh and one more thing, the admin pads were buried within the skin. Ex pulled the device out from under his brother's skin, then getting a few bandages to sloppily stop the bleeding. He then hovered the device over his wrist, the device shaking as it quickly merged into the not so healed gash on his wrist.

"I'm back baby," Ex said aloud in triumph. He then lifted X by his arms and made his way down to X's presumed living space. He dropped X with no mercy, hearing him thud to the ground. Ex turned to stand over his body and smiled. Weakling.
