I felt the bed shift as Roman got up to get the door I assume as someone was banging pretty hard.

I then felt my entire body being pulled.

''Shit sorry I forgot about the cuffs!'' he whispered.

I was so sleepy and my eyes were hurting from the sun shining into the room.

I followed him as he opened the door with his head peeking out.
I stood behind him.

'' Damn man, what time did you get to bed?'' I heard John's voice.

Roman yawned and scratched his head a bit before answering, '' You really don't wanna know man..''

'' I assume that's the reason you are being so rude by not inviting us in, is Mia still...'' She barely finished her sentence as she pushed past Roman and entered the room, seeing us handcuffed along.

'' Oh my gosh guys! Wow, Mia...'' She began laughing and sat on the bed and jumped up immediately.

'' Shit I doubt those sheets are safe to sit on''

'' Can it Nikki, I'm too tired to hear this''

I laughed, moving behind Roman.

'' Are you seriously hiding? Its nothing we haven't seen bef... Sorry man'' He stopped as Roman narrowed his eyes at him.

''Mia where's the key?'' he turned and smiled down at me.

I realized I didn't really know where it was, I think I left it on the bed but the way we went on it could be anywhere in the room.

I stared at him ,biting my lip.

He began laughing, '' Baby girl please tell me you know where it is..''

I shook my head.

John began laughing , '' Well you guys could always stay like that. Although both of you would have to stay half naked, that would be a sight for sore eyes''

'' You are so lucky I am cuffed to my girlfriend right now!'' Roman teased.

'' Yeah, yeah.. Lets find that key so that we can get going!''

'' Found it!'' Nikki screamed out as she placed her fingers under the couch and pulled it out.

'' Thank goodness now we're getting somewhere!'' Roman unlocked it and took it off and put it in his bag.

''Never know when we might need it'' he winked.

I rolled my eyes and went over to the bathroom, '' I'll be back in 5'' I closed the door behind me.

I tied my wet hair up in a messy bun and put on my underwear and headed out of the bathroom.

''Your turn'' I smiled at Roman and he gave me a quick peck before heading in.

'' So how'd your dad take the news of you and the big guy dating?'' John sat with Nikki on the couch as I looked through my luggage for something to wear.

'' Good, he actually likes him. Well he was a bit uneasy of the idea that Roman broke off his engagement, but I convinced him it wasn't because of me which is partially true you know?'' I put on a purple shorts and slipped on my sandals.

'' Yeah and how's Paul?'' Nikki asked hesitantly, I smiled at her.

'' He's fine, he had fun with Roman. I mean seeing him for the first time after breaking it off was a little weird but I've gotten used to that kind of weird. I mean we have broken up several times over the years..'' I put on a baggy tee which had a black tiger on it.

'' Okay I'm going to ask, since Nikki doesn't seem like she's going to. What's the deal between you and Randy?''

I sat on the edge of the bed facing them,I knew I would be grilled sooner or later.

'' I take it one of the three musketeers told you about my lunch date with Randy yesterday?''

'' Actually no, we saw online''

Nikki showed me the pictures and article.

It was bad, there were pictures of Randy kissing my forehead and him playing with my bracelet which looked like he was holding my hand and him leaning into me and then another shot of us hooked in walking into the arena, the headline was '' Rekindling their love while having significant others?''

'' Shit! This is bad, luckily my dad never goes online but Roman cannot see this..''

'' See what?''

Roman walked into the room wearing a shorts and white t-shirt with sandals.

'' The dress she's wearing for Eva's wedding. You should be speechless when you see her, like John was when he saw me at Brie's wedding''

I loved how quickly Nikki could cover up things.

Roman sat next to me, '' Well you have a point there, I mean at their wedding I got to walk down the aisle with Mia so I never got that moment that John had''

He smiled.

'' And that is why you cannot see her dress'' Nikki smiled as she got up, and John followed.

I guess we were heading out, Roman got up and took our bags, he held his hand out for me and I clasped it as we headed down to the car.

'' Okay guys unfortunately we shall be parting ways'' I was pouting holding out my arms as they leaned into hug me.

'' You guys better drive down to us sometime this week! Let Lucy meet Uncle John and Aunt Nikki'' Nikki smiled at Roman.

'' I'm sure we will take a mini-road trip down to you guys'' he winked.

'' Here we are!'' We pulled into the driveway of Roman's house which he shared with his ex and daughter.

I hadn't been here since last year sometime, we'd been so busy this year travelling that neither of us had been home, so they would travel with sometimes.

He got out and came to my side and opened the door for me and as I got out I saw the front door open and Lucy running down the drive way into Roman's arms.

''Hey sweetie, daddy missed you so much!''

Jenna walked into the lounge as we entered, she walked over to me and hugged me.'' Mi, how are you?''

'' I'm good just tired you?''

'' I'm great, I'll be spending the week with my family so it will be nice''

We sat down on the couch as Roman disappeared with Lucy into her room. I'm sure things were suppose to be awkward but they weren't at all. We had a pretty good friendship since the first time we met and that wasn't going to change.

'' You know we can fly you out to New York and then we can all hang out, if that's fine?''

'' That would be great, I haven't been to New York since the New Year, remember that night?''

'' Oh yes I do, I woke up wasted in the back seat of the car with Dean while you and Roman were driving us home. I really partied way too hard''

We laughed at the memory.

'' Yeah but you were dealing with your break up from Randy so it was understandable''

I smiled at her, I somehow felt uneasy whenever people mentioned his name.

Roman walked into the room, setting down Lucy's bag and sat down next to me as Lucy got onto my lap.

'' Is your sister coming to pick you up cause we could drive you down there on the way to my folks?''

'' No its fine,she'll be here soon. Are you sure its a good idea to go to your folks just a couple of weeks after we announced our split?''

'' You are sounding just like Mia'' he chuckled.

'' Its only for tonight, she knows everyone already, hopefully it wont be awkward''

'' Jenna please come with us'' I was pouting playfully.

'' Oh no, its way too soon for me, but good luck'' she hugged me.

'' Hopefully I wont be needing it, but I'll see you in a few days''
