LUCY POV

I woke up on the king size bed alone. I looked around but Luke was no where to be seen. I was happy, that I'm alone. But I still wanted to wake up feeling his warmth around me.

I folded the quilt and set the pillow perfectly  on the bed. I was always a cleanliness freak. Back at home, my small apartment was always clean, no matter what.

After making sure everything was perfect, I took some clothes and walked into the washroom, brushed my teeth and took my bath. I came out wearing a yellow top with black skinny jeans.  

I went down to the kitchen where Xavier and Luke were seated.

Luke was wearing a black t shirt and black jeans. He was looking really hot an-

What the hell Erica! Stop thinking about your kidnapper like that.

I went and sat next to Luke.

''Hey beautiful, had a nice sleep?'' Luke asked as he kissed my cheeks. My heart fluttered at the little princee word.

I nodded my head. Xavier came and put a plate in front of me full of macaroni. I love macaroni! 

''Hey Lucy'' Xavier winked at me. I didn't dare reply. I didn't dare look up. I dont want to be punished for talking to him . So I kept my mouth shut.

''Oh so now im getting the silent treatment?'' Xavier whined.

''Shut up'' Luke growled.

''Whatever'' Xavier stood up and went away.

''Hey, you okay?'' Luke smiled at me.

I nodded.

Suddenly his phone started ringing.

''Hello....... Yeah.... So? Kill them all... Yeah the kids... So? Kill them!... Yeah I'll be there...  Bye'' He cut the phone.  

'' Lucy I'm going  for, a meeting so I'll be back till tomorrow morning'' he said.

''Okay'' I whispered.

Somewhere in my heart I didn't want him to go . I don't know why but something was telling me to stop him. Something was telling me that something bad is going to happen.

I finished my food and went to my room. I was sitting on the bed when the door opened.

Luke walked in with a guy with short hair and a perfect facecut. He was tall and very smart , but nothing compared to Luke.

''Lucy meet  Caesar. Caesar this is Lucy.  He will stay here while I'm gone and protect you okay? And Caesar don't try anything funny because you have no idea what will I do to you'' Luke growled.

Caesar and I both nodded our head. Caesar smiled at me. He looked young, how will he possibly protect me from any harm!  He needs protection himself.

I mentally laughed and smiled back at Caesar.

Luke was about to say something but Xavier came in running.

'' Luke we need to leave! Right now it's urgent!'' Xavier was panting.

Without a word Luke and Xavier left. I was still seated  in my bed when I heard the car engine roar. I got a cue that both of them left.  Not Caesar and I were left alone.

''uh- im downstairs , if you need anything call me, okay?'' Caesar spoke and went downstairs. I was still sitting in my place when I finally decided to sleep.

I loved this bed. It had a huge window  right next to it. I could see the stars and the moon. I loved when the moonlight touched my face. I decided to go outside in the balcony.

I opened the balcony door and went outside.  I was enjoying the view when suddenly  I heard a noise. I looked down and saw 2 guys climbing the balcony  . I screamed and both of them saw me.

''Get her!'' one of them yelled. I ran inside the room and Locked the balcony door. I ran down looking for Caesar.

''Caesar! CAESAR?!! Where are you!'' Caesar came running towards me

''Wh- what's wrong! '' He made me sit on the sofa , he looked worried.

''Th- theres  some-someone upstairs! They we-were climbing my balcony!''  I sobbed harder and harder!

''Shh, calm down! Stay here, okay? I'll go check upstairs'' He sounded calm like he has nothing to fear. 

''No! No! Please don't leav- leave me!'' I held his arm tightly.

He looked at me with pity in his eyes.

''Here, take this'' he handed me his phone. ''Call Luke and ask him to come here, and just stay here. I promise you nothinf will hapen to me, okay princess?'' I nodded and let gor of his arm.

I was beyond frightened, I was terrified.

I looked in the contacts and dialed Luke number as Caesar went up to check the room.

Luke pick up! Pick up! Please!

The phone kept ringing, but he didn't pick up. And then I heard a loud noice from upstairs.

A gunshot. Just one. Did one of them shoot Caesar?

No! No no no no! This can't be happening! 

I heard yelling from upstairs!

''Find her!'' someone said. Shit!

I ran and ran and ran until I reached the front door. I opened it and ran outside towards the jungle.

''She's there! '' Someone shouted from behind. I didn't dare look behind me. I clutched the phone in my hand tighter and ran for my life.

I ran and ran and ran into the forest and finally came to a stop when I couldn't run anymore. I could not hear any voices or footsteps behind me so I relaxed a bit.

I tried calling Luke again. But he didn't pick up. I didn't know what to do so I broke down crying.

Where are you Luke!

I sat behind some bushes with my back towards the tree's trunk. I was beyond tired. It was a cold night and I wanted to sleep. I closed my eyes to rest when suddenly I heard footsteps.  My heartbeat fastened. My mind began throbbing woth pain, fear took over me my body started trembling.

''Find her! The boss wants her tonight! ''A thick raspy voice spoke in a British accent.

''Well thanks to you she saw us in the first place. Who asked you to climb that balcony anyway? We could've just entered the house from the front door!'' someone with a thick Russian accent spoke up.

Okay so one is with a Russian accent and another with a British one. Who are these people? Some kind of spy?

''Yeah right! And they would've invited us with open arms like come-in-sweet-enemy! '' The British accent guy retorted.

''Shut up you fool? And look for her. Master hates waiting.'' The one with the Russian accent spoke up.

They kept on arguing for another 10 minutes and kept on looking at me.

Oh god? Please don't let them know I'm here please!

''I think we lost her.'' One of them spoke. They both started walking ahead leaving me there alone. When they were gone I tried calling Luke one more time.

Luckily this time he picked up.

''WHAT IS YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM CAESAR?! IM IN A MEETING RIGHT NOW SO STOP CALLIN-''

''Luke! I whispered thanking god in very way possible.

''Lucy? What's wrong? You okay babe?'' Luke questioned me, he sounded worried.

''No! No im not okay! Someone broke into the house killed Caesar and now is after me! Please Luke save me please! '' by now I began to cry.

''Shh? I'm on my way! Where are you'' He asked , I could feel the panick in his voice.

''I don't know! Somewhere in the jungle! Luke please save me! '' I cried and suddenly the phone went dead.

Battery low. It showed.

SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT! Why! For heavens sake why now?

I kelt the phone in my pocket and closed my eyes.

Luke please come soon...please I need you. I was about 20 minutes when I heard footsteps again. And this time they sounded like there was a huge group of people.

Shit! There back again!

Shit shit shit!

What will I do now? I stayed silent when I heard my name being called out.

''LUCY! LUCY! Where are you!?'' someone shouted. I knew who it was.

He came! He came for me! I got up on my feet, and ran towards those voices.

Anf finally I reached my destination. I saw his standing there looking here and there with 2o to 3o people walking here and there looking for me.

''Luke"' I shouted and ran towards him.

As soon as he saw me he opened hi arms . I went straight and hugged him with all my power. He came! He came to save me! I was beyond happy. I pulled back and joined our forehead.

''I thought I lost you when you hung up like that'' he whispered , while a single tear made its way from his eyes down to his neck.

He was crying? But why?

''Luke, look Im here, shh dont cry,'' I tried and soothed him.

''The battery went dead and there was no charger in the jungle aswell, bad jungle! '' I pouted making him laugh.

''Are you okay?'' He pulled me closer like he's afraid of letting me go. Like I'll vanish in the night.

'Yes, now i'm okay now lets go home, im tired' I smiled at him and he smiled back.

He picked me up bridal styple and took me home. On the way back I kept thanking him again him and in response he just hugged me tighter.

When we reached home I saw about  20 to 25 cars parked. I gave him a questioning look. 

''Backup, you know'' He winked. I laughed.

As soon as we went inside I saw Caesar sitting on the sofa with a guy who had medicine in his hand, he was alive!

I jumped out of Luke's arms and ran to Caesar and hugged him he hugged me back

Don't get me wrong. He is like a brother to me, I get a warm brotherly feeling from him.

''Your alive'' I whispered.

''Yeah I'm immortal'' He winked at me. I punched his arm playfully.

''But how? I heard a gunshot going off....'' I wasn't able to complete my sentence. Tears started forming in my eyes.

He stood up and turned around. There it was. A gun shot on his back. I looked at him with saddened eyes.

''Don't worry the bullet just touched my back and went straight. I fainted because of the pain and they thought  I wàs dead''

I nodded in response.

''I dont want to lose you, your like a big brother I never had''

I smiled at him

''And your like a sister I  always wanted'' He smiled back.

''Ahem '' Someone cleared there throat behing me . I turned around to see Luke staring us with his beautiful eyes.

''What Luke?'' I faked anger ''Dont you see brother and sister are busy having their personal talk'' I smirked.

''But-'' I stopped him with my index finger.

''Dont disturb us, go!'' I laughed.

He stomped his foot like a baby and went away. Literally! He stomped his foot!

Both me and Caesar fell on floor laughing. Gangster much?

After talking to Caesar for and hour we finally decided to call it a night. I got up and went to my room where I saw Luke sitting with his phone in his hand. As soon as he looked at me he smiled.

I went and sat next to him.

''Whats up?'' I asked him

''Nothing just work'' he answered with a small smile. But I knew he was still skaken up after what happened.

'' You okay ?'' I asked, I knew the answer already.

''No I thought I lost you..forever, and it made me mad, I cannot imagine my life without you babe, I'm sorry I left you alone im really sorry''  He looked down at his hands and started fiddling with his fingers like a child.

To be honest I felt heart broken to see him in that position. I turned to face him

''Luke, it wasn't your fault, okay? I should've never gone out in the balcony and please you Dont have to blame yourself'' I said and i hugged him , and without wasting a second he hugged me back.

We stayed like that for a long time. And then he finally let go .

''i guess we should sleep'' He smiled

I nodded and went in bed with him.

After that we both slept, his hands never leaving mine.
