This takes place during season 1 of young justice. Dick is 14, Jason is 11, and Tim is 9 ( Damian isn't born just yet)

It was the afternoon at the Wayne manor and Dick was getting ready to go to the cave to hangout with his friends when he herd a knock on the door " come in!"

Bruce came in and saw dick in his civilian clothes " hey dick I just got a call and I have to head to a meeting at work, I want you to watch tim and Jason while I'm gone"

Dick looks at him not expecting to have to babysit his brothers " but dad I was planning on going to the cave in a few minutes to see the team"

Bruce smiles a bit " I'm sorry dick but I need you to stay here and watch the two boys, their your brothers I'm sure you don't mind watching them "

Dick sighs hearing that as a ' do it or there will be consequences request'. " alright dad I'll watch the two for you, but what if they start acting up or fighting?"

Bruce chuckles softly at him " Dick your their older brother, I'm sure you can figure it out. Now I'm heading to the meeting they know the rules, and they have been told to listen to you. They do love you and I'm sure they'll want to play with you dick. " he heads out the door

Dick sighs as the two usually don't play with him but want to test his patience or want to play with his robin gear " alright dad I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise they'll be in one piece " he smiles

Bruce looks at him after getting his jacket " Richard if those two are in trouble you'll be in trouble as well, they are your responsibility. I know you can do a great job." He smiles then headed to his car head to work

Dick sighs softly as he got his phone out to text Wally that he had to babysit his brothers and couldn't make it.

Tim soon came running in with Jason not far behind him " leave me alone Jason! I don't want to play this game anymore " he hid behind dick hoping his older brother would protect him

Jason came over holding a fake birdarang " come on Tim it's just for fun, your suppose to be joker and I'm the new robin. Your not supposed to run away"

Tim looks at him " but I never get to be robin and you throw too hard, it hurts"

Dick looks at the two then takes the birdarang away from Jason " Jason we've talked about this before, Tim should have a chance to play robin and you don't need to throw weapons at him "

Jason crosses his arms " I wasn't throwing them too hard, but he doesn't know how to be robin. He always runs off crying to you or dad"

Tim crosses his arms " I do not Jason, that's only when you are hurting me "

Dick looks at the two and had a easy idea " alright Jason you have a good point. Since I'm babysitting you two, I'll help you both learn how to be like robin. But Jason you will have to listen to me and no chasing after Tim" looks at Tim " and Tim there's no shame in hiding when you know you can't win a fight, Batman does always tell me when he thinks it's too dangerous and if I should back down or stay put"

Tim looks at his older brother and smiles at him " how often do you listen when he tells you that dick? "

Jason chuckles " probably only a few times since dickie thinks he's tougher than he actually is"

Dick sighs knowing it was true " yes that is true that sometimes I don't always listen to Batman but I've learned that comes with consequences, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to me. Now let's go to my training room and I'll show you a little bit of the basics of being robin" he picks Tim up and takes both to his training room where his gymnastics, target practice, and basic training equipment is.

Jason looks around and was surprised at how big it is " whoa! Dad gave you this whole room for training? This is a big nest just for a bird"

Tim smiles getting down and also looking around " so this is where you disappear to when you say you need to cool off or just leave me alone " sees all the acrobatic equipment

Dick smiles a bit as he did say that a bit when he needed time to cool off or just wanted to be alone " well I usually think the best when I'm training or practicing my gymnastics " he got basic training equipment for them but no weapons " so robin is known for stealth, hacking, his acrobatics, and his ways of always finding ways out of a tough situation. But always puts a fun spin on it"

Tim smiles as he sees the equipment " so that's why some of your birdarangs laugh before they explode, I thought it was because you were learning from joker"

Jason looks at all the equipment " what about the weapons? Like your birdarang or grenades or your bombs?"

Dick chuckles softly at him " you aren't ready for that yet Jason, but we'll work on stealth and basic gymnastic moves, then I can show you guys how to use smoke pellets to get out of a lecture from dad"

Jason smiles as that did sound like a lot of fun especially the getting out of a lecture part " alright robin! I wanna learn that, but will you be as tough as Batman?"

Tim looks at dick and smiles " I don't think dick can be as scary as Batman, he's too nice to us"

Dick smiles at them " now let's get changed then we can start your training "
