"Hello, sir. I'm here to visit Xiumin."

"Aigoo, thank you for always visiting him. Come in."

Heechul pats Chunji's shoulder before stepping aside to let him in.

"Xiumin-ah, your friend is here!"

Heechul shouted before entering the kitchen and leaving Chunji in the living room.

Not long after, Chunji heard steps coming closer.

Chunji stood up and smiled at Xiumin looking at him.

He would lie if he says he wasn't hurt when Xiumin looked at his back, looking for someone.

"Hey!"

Xiumin smiled but Chunji knows better.

"Hey, are you okay now? When are you coming back to school? The others keep asking me too."

"I'm not sure yet but I hope by next week I can attend school. Shin Hye noona is just checking if everything's fine."

"That's good to know. Uhm...are you allowed going out? I mean...it's fine if not-"

"Where will we go?"

Chunji looked at Xiumin a bit shocked.

"Are you sure you're allowed to-"

"Yah, when did you become so concern about me? As far as I remember you always bully me at school!"

Xiumin chuckled when Chunji's faced showed embarrassment.

"So? Where to?"

Chunji smiled filling his heart with happiness, at least for now.

Xiumin eyed him suspiciously.

Chunji chuckled and ruffled his hair.

"You're not afraid of me, aren't you?"

Chunji snickered.

Xiumin pouted and moved away from him.

"Yah! Don't tell me you're really still afraid of me?!"

Chunji asked in disbelief.

Chunji felt even more frustrated when Xiumin nodded.

"Y-yah! I mean... I helped you last time! How can you be afraid of your savior? Huh?!"

Chunji keeps blabbering things failing to notice Xiumin's mischievous smile.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Chunji was beyond stunned while looking at the boy laughing in front of him.

"Okay, okay. I get it. You don't have to brag about it. But your face is really funny. HAHAHAHA."

"Yah! Are you laughing at me now?!"

Xiumin tried stopping his laugh but he just can't.

"Yah!"

Xiumin started running away from him still laughing.

"Yes, I'm laughing at you right now because you're so funny with that face!"

Xiumin shouted while running and laughing.

"You brat! Better not be caught by me or you'll regret it!"

Chunji advanced to Xiumin with smile and laughter leaving their lips.

"You're making me sick!"

"What do you want?"

"It's been 2 weeks, Luhan!"

"I'm attending my classes. I'm never late as well. What are you nagging about now?"

"If you don't have anything else to say now, leave me alone. I want to sleep, Ren."

Ren sighed and grabbed his hair.

"I know this is rude but...you're being a jerk. I've visited Xiumin a few times and-"

"Just leave."

"YOU'RE A COWARD!"

"Shut up and leave!"

Luhan stood up face to face with his twin, Ren whose face displays annoyance and frustration.

"Luhan...her death wasn't your fault. Xiumin wasn't in danger because of you-"

"Stop."

"She died in front of your eyes but that doesn't mean you didn't try to save her! You may have failed to save your best friend's sister but you tried."

Luhan grabs Ren's collar and glared at him. Ren did the same.

"You don't even know how I felt that time when she was asking for my help but I couldn't do anything!"

"I don't know how it feels but do you know what it feels like to lose your twin slowly?!"

Luhan's gaze softened and freed his twin's collar.

"Man up, Luhan. You didn't lose Xiumin that day but you're losing him now. And I'm losing my twin brother. Please come back."

Ren held his tears and left the room.

Luhan stood in daze recalling every word Ren uttered.

He closed his eyes tightly and wiped some tears that escaped.

"I'm sorry."

He whispered before unlocking his phone, Xiumin as his wallpaper.

He smiled bitterly. It was a stolen photo of Xiumin when he was eating with Kiseop. Of course, he cropped Kiseop out of the picture.

Monday, at school...

"Appa!"

Xiumin whined for the nth time this morning as Heechul called him for the 3rd time after leaving his apartment.

(Yah! I'm just making sure you arrived at school safely!)

"Do you think I didn't notice your man tailing me on my way to school appa?! Aahh, seriously. You're 10 times more protective now. Why don't you just tie me up with you appa so you can monitor me always?"

Xiumin stomped his feet and ended the call in no time.

This is his first day of school after the incident.

Before he could turn back to see who called him, he was already tackled on the ground.

"You guys like visited me the other day at home-"

Kiseop didn't let him speak and dragged him inside the campus.

Luhan lazily lies down on the sofa. They are currently in their pacing killing time before their first class.

"You've always been early to school, dude."

Kris sat on the couch with a soda in-can in his hand.

"Hyung, I heard Xiumin is back. I heard some students talking about him on my way here."

Chen whisper-shouted but the guy just shrugged it off.

"Are you ok-"

Tao was interrupted when Luhan stood up.

EXO-M looks at him.

"Let's go. The class will start in 5."

Luhan left the place first leaving the speechless guys.

"Is he really okay seeing him again after weeks?"

Tao asked worriedly.

"We'll see. Let's go."

Kris answered before shooting his empty soda can in the trash can.

Xiumin sits on his seat comfortably missing the feeling of being a student.

Xiumin can't deny that he's excited and nervous. To be back and to see him again.

He wondered why he never visited him. Why the others always avoid his questions about him.

Even Ren, who he realized is his twin brother, never mentioned anything about him when he visited him.

KRIIIING! KRIIIING!

The bell rang indicating the class will start soon.

Students filled the room but Xiumin's seatmates are still not in.

"Okay class-"

"Sorry, Miss. We're not that late, right?"

Changjo opened the door not too excitedly and breathing heavily with a cheeky smile.

The teacher sighed and motioned them to enter.

"Wait- lemme go in first!"

Ricky said while pushing the others doing the same thing in the door.

Everyone in the room looked at them confused, including the teacher and Xiumin.

"Nah, I'll go to that punk first!"

L.joe gritted his teeth while pushing the others.

"You brats! Move aside. I will greet him first!"

Niel tried passing but the others blocked him.

"I'm the leader, move and let me walk first!"

Xiumin blinked several times watching Teen Top bicker in front of the class.

Chunji immediately spotted Xiumin on his seat. He didn't bother arguing with the others and walked towards Xiumin.

He patted Xiumin's head while smiling.

"Welcome back, Xiumin."

He greeted before sitting.

Students started whispering around them.

"Did you see that?"

"He patted his head!"

"Chunji smiled! He smiled at him!"

Xiumin shyly lowered his head.

"Yah, hyung. That wasn't fair."

Ricky complained before running in front of Xiumin.

The others followed right away and surrounded his seat.

"Ugh..."

Xiumin awkwardly scratched his nape.

"Welcome back!"

They all said in unison before taking their seats.

Xiumin smiled not until his eyes drew to the entrance after another thud.
