Steve was walking into the kitchen prepared for breakfast. Alex was sizzling sausage and hash browns.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, but the storm kept me up a little last night." Steve said rubbing his eyes.

Alex nodded and got back to cooking. She started to hum a song and did a little dance at the chorus. Steve smirked at his little sister. Sometimes it was like they never grew up.

Alex finally finished breakfast and put all the food on the table. There was sausage, biscuits, pancakes, hash browns, eggs, and milk. Steve was about to dive in when Alex stopped him.

"You could at least put a napkin in your lap while we eat." Steve groaned and complained, but still put the napkin in his lap.

"Thank you. So when are you going to go see Notch?" Alex asked. She was pouring about a gallon of syrup on her pancakes.

"Right after breakfast. He said he had an urgent report." Steve was in mid-bite of his hash brown.

"What do you think it's about?" Steve shrugged. It was probably a mob infestation or something.

Alex got up from the table and walked over to the door. She looked confused and turned back to Steve.

"Didn't we have a coop for our chickens?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, why?" Steve finished eating and was putting his plate in the sink.

"Because all of the chickens are out and wandering around."

"What? That can't be." Steve walked over to the door and looked out the window. It was true. Every single chicken was out, and that's a lot of chickens for Alex and Steve.

Steve walked out the house and into the farm. The door to the coop was locked up last night, and now it was ripped off of its hinges and laying on the ground.

Steve looked around and into the woods. He squinted his eyes because he thought he saw something glowing in the distance. It was white and glowing, then suddenly disappeared. He shrugged it off. Probably a torch, he thought.

He looked around at all the chickens then remembered he had to meet Notch. He ran back inside to grab his sword and bag. He was about to step out the door when Alex stepped in front of him.

"And where do you think you're going?" Her arms were crossed and her foot was tapping.

"I have to go see Notch. He said he needs to talk with me." Steve smiled and put his charm on.

"No. Put the chickens up first." Alex leaned back against the door, obviously not ready to move.

"Please? Notch said it's super important." Steve was basically begging  her. Alex sighed and looked back at Steve.

"Fine. But next favor I need from you, you will do it." Steve nodded and walked out the door. He waved at Alex then ran into the woods.

"Okay, now where's the cave?" He muttered to himself. He looked on his map then back into the woods. He walked a few meters before stopping.

"There it is!" Steve yelled to no one in particular. He ran into the cave and lit up his torch.

He looked around for the familiar glow of the glow stone. He started to walk down a passageway before stopping in front of a portal. Steve jumped in without any hesitation.

On the other side, the Aether was bright and colorful. He walked down one of the main paths and ended up in front of Notch's castle. Angels were building another addition to his already huge castle.

"Got a big enough ego?" Steve muttered before walking into the throne room. On the throne up front was the king of Minecraft himself.

"Ah, brother. It's nice to see you're here so early." Notch said, the sarcasm dripping from his voice.

"I'm sorry, the chickens got out somehow and I had to investigate." Steve said throwing his arms in the air.

"It doesn't matter, you're here. Now let's talk in the meeting room.

Both of the brothers walked side by side down the hallway. "So what's the new addition for?" Steve asked trying to break the silence.

"It's for the guards to train. We had one a while back until one of the Angels broke off the equipment." Notch said in deep thought. Steve nodded and looked ahead. The meeting room was right there.

They entered the room and locked the door. Steve knew this had to of been important for Notch to lock the door.

"Okay so what was it you wanted to tell me?" Steve sat in one of the chairs watching Notch pace back and forth.

"There was another Herobrine sighting." Notch looked over at his non-caring brother.

"So? We get those all the time."

"Yeah, except this time he had a girl with him."
