Will you teach me?

"DIPPER!" Mabel shouted.

"Yeah, Mabes?"

"플레이 진리를 온 또는 우리와 함께 감!" Candy said in Korean.

"Okay." I hopped off my bed, and sat with the girls on the floor.

Mabel seemed confused. Probably because I knew what Candy was saying.

Just have to...make it...it's one night in my extended existence.

"So, Candy!" Grenda's gruff voice started, "Truth or dare?!"

"진실." She said, still in Korean. She made a "T" with her hands to indicate what she meant.

"Do you.." Mabel started.

"Have a crush.." Paz went on.

"On anyone?" Grenda ended.

Candy's face heated up visibly. "M-maybe?"

English, this time.

The three girls-Paz, Mabes, and Candy- squealed.

My ears decided in that moment to be extra sensitive.

Blood dripped out of one of my ears, o think my right one, yet I didn't notice it.

"So Dipper, 진실 or--" Candy faltered.

"Dip? You got blood..." Mabel motioned to her ear.

And her shirt. And the floor.

I suppose it was a bit more than normal people could bleed out.

"Ignore that. Truth, I suppose." I waved my hand by my bleeding ear effortlessly casting a self-healing spell.

"Woah." Candy muttered to herself, amazed.

"Dipper. How do you do...that?" Candy asked choppily.

"Magic."

Mabel scampered up to me, avoiding the blood stained floor and blood soaked clothes I still had on.

"Can you teach us?" She asked.

"Not entirely. In order to be...a user of magic...at least of many types, you have to be on a demon's wheel." I explained.

"Aroo?" Mabel went.

"Like...Mabel, you and I are on Bill's wheel. I'm Pinetree and you're Shooting Star. Well, there are eight more. The closer you are to being the original linchpin, the more powerful you are. That means, if you originally, when you met, or at least that first summer, knew everyone on the wheel pretty much by yourself, you're the linchpin."

"So..." Pacifica started, "Who's the linchpin?"

"Well, I am." I stated.

"Why not me?" Mabel whined a little.

"Well, you don't have much of a relationship with...say...Robbie. I met him first. With Gideon, our relationship as enemies is stronger because we hate each other. With Paz--"

"Wait, I'm on the wheel?!" Pacifica panicked a little.

"You're protected. Don't worry." I said to her.

"From what?"

I turned to Mabel. "This would be a lot easier to explain your unasked questions if I could read your minds!"

"Fine."

I read Paz's mind.

No! What am I in danger from...is it that guy from the tapestry? The...triangle? No. It couldn't be. He's fake. Fake. Fake.

"Paz!" I shouted. "Snap out of it! Bill is real, yes, but you-heck, all of the ten-are protected against him!"

She calmed down.

A little.

"Mabel, also I had stronger feelings for Wendy, and I'm a little closer with Soos. You're the second most powerful on the list. Next is Stan and Ford. Then Soos and Wendy, next is Robbie and Gideon. Then Pacifica and McGucket."

Pacifica looked at me weird.

"You might be powerful normally, just not magically. If you'd formed relationships with the others, maybe you'd be the linchpin. Now, I'm going to sleep. I've done enough explaining for one day. Goodnight." I said exasperated, as I climbed into bed.
