How Can You Be Alive?
Mabel's POV
Dip-n-dots was back! Oh, life is full of sparkles and rainbows and glitter again!
Grunkle Stan was shocked when he saw Dipper.
"Dipper...how are you...how did you..." Grunkle Stan stuttered out.
Dipper replied, "Stan, I've simply been training while I've been away. I'm much...tougher than I was when I left. My leg was healed when I left. I made a deal so I could be here for a month. Answer all your questions?"
"How did you-"
"I read your mind. It's easy, really."
"BROBRO!" I interrupted.
"Yes, Mabel. I'll stay and endure a slumber party. Only if Stan gives you permission," Dipper said.
"Don't read my mind!" I told him.
He put his hands up in defeat. "Okay, okay."
"Grunkle Stan?"
"Sure...kids." He walked away, seemingly confused.
I grabbed Dipper's hand, and dragged him behind me up the stairs to my...our bedroom.
Dipper's POV
"Okay Dip'n'Dots! I'm going to go call Candy, Grenda, and Paz! You stay here and make yourself comfortable again!"
"Mabel, who's 'Paz'?" I asked. I thought it was a new crazy friend of Mabel's.
"You'll know her when you see her!"
Mabel ran downstairs, dialing Candy's house.
"Hmm..." My old room was representative of my old self.
With my magic, I took down conspiracy boards, three to be exact; I made the bed, well...I made the sheets and blankets change colors.
I placed my clothing in the closet, new and old.
I cleaned up Mabel's side of the room, made it tidy.
I hoped she'll be pleasantly surprised.
I sat on my bed, opening up my journal. A new journal. One with a blue pinetree on the cover and a number "2" as well.
I've been documenting my life. Like...an auto-biography. Charting characters, writing stories of important events, etcetera.
I wrote down the days events thus far. Today was a mark in my personal history.
When I die, I want Mabel, and relatives I have left, to read these. What I was going through. Learn from my mistakes.
Maybe I'll let them write in it as well. Professionally. To record my last breath.
Suddenly, four girls burst through the door giggling.
Mabel.
Grenda.
Candy.
Pacifica. Paz.
I scrambled to put my journal away as quickly as possible.
"Ooh, bro-bro, what'cha reading?" Mabel asked, sitting next to me.
"Nothing."
"You're seriously not gonna tell me?" Mabel asked.
"If you have to know, I started my own journals. This is just one of them. I'm writing."
I showed her the cover, then put it in my bag saying, "Don't ever look in here."
She'd be scarred by some of the deals I've recorded, some of the monsters I created.
"Okay!" Mabel said.
I took a look at her friends. Pacifica's mouth was hanging in shock, Candy and Grenda were just...there. Frozen in...shock.
I sent a message to their brains.
Hello Guys! Long time no see, am I right? I'm changed a lot. Hey, Paw-cifica, when were you friends with my twin?
Don't freak out! I'm just messing with you. Anyways, you guys look like statues. Have fun. This is a sleepover!
I smirked and the three started moving towards me.
"Uh...guys? What're you doing?" I asked nervously. They still were headed towards me.
Grenda picked me up into a tight hug. Candy hugged me. Pacifica even hugged me.
I squeezed my eyes shut, then opened them again calmly.
I didn't move, but I did. I teleported to the other side of the room.
"Please no hugs." I said.
All three confused girls were spooked.
I smirked again. "Magic," I said, answering their thoughts.
"Dipper! I said no mind reading! Not even them!" Mabel said.
"Sorry Mabes. Anywho, sleepover time!" I said.
The girls smiled and created a slumber party set-up. I was just on my bed the whole time.
Just have to endure this. For. Mabel. No matter how much I hate these things.
The girls squealed at something Candy said.
Now I'm wishing I had put this off a day or two...I hate this!
