Chapter XLVIII
MINA'S POV
"What the fuck?! Why him?! Of all men?!" I was enraged when I saw Jimin pass through the doors. He wasn't saying anything and just remained seated across of me.
Dad kept on smiling and breathing deeply again and again. I know that he's just keeping his patience long because of my wrong attitude on the table. "Mina, aren't you happy and glad to see the one you love before your eyes?" I honestly have a lot of questions inside my head, but I know that it won't be answered that easily.
"Love? Dad? Are you blind? How will I love a person who fakes his feelings just to get what he wants? He's a fucking selfish pervert!" I glanced at Jimin and he's looking away from me. "What? You're getting embarrassed now that I'm uncovering your real self, huh?" I faced him. He had his face downcast, but he lifted up his head and looked at me. He can't seem to say anything because he knows for sure that he's at fault. If he hadn't done that, maybe I still trust him. Maybe I let myself fall for him more, but he's such a freaking fraud. A selfish.
"I'm going now," I stood up, but dad held my wrist.
"Sit down." His voice was authoritative and scary, so I sat down again. I am just so upset.
"I have a flight back to the States at 4 PM. I have to get ready!" I demanded.
"Cancel this girl's flight, will you?" He ordered one of his body guards which really made me more upset. They don't understand, do they?
"Look," I sighed and explained. "I have work back there in the States. I have my own business and I have to go back there so soon because I can't keep my workers at rest, okay? I still have a lot to do there and I can't stay here that long just to get married to an asshole." I really hope that dad would understand. I don't even know if he misses me or anything. I think he only misses me because I'm needed for the business.
"Okay," he nodded. There's a little spark of hope within me that assumes that he would let me go. I hope he will let me go out of the arrangement, too. "You will go home tomorrow." My shoulders fell instantly. "Yangho, please book a flight for her at 6 AM."
"I have someone with me." I told him. "I want to bring him with me tomorrow instead."
"Okay, whatever." Dad retorted and went back to talking with Jimin's dad. Their talk lasted for so long that we finished by 2 PM. It's a good thing that they actually ordered some lunch before we finish. My stomach is growling already because I didn't have breakfast. It's all because of this fucking arrangement that I never agreed to since the beginning.
Imagine, I've done almost everything to stop myself from getting married. I ran away from home at a young age and became a harlot. I never wanted to come back because I know that I will only be sold for business. I don't want to marry a person whom I don't even know, but it turns out that I do know him--but that doesn't mean that I will marry Jimin! He's the one and only douche that caused me to fake my death, so that no one will find me anymore. If it wasn't for Hyorin unnie's wedding, they won't find out that I'm still alive.
"Yangho will escort you back to the hotel you're staying," Dad told me and smiled. "I really missed my little girl." He caressed my head, but I jusy glared at him. How can he ever do this to his daughter? Sell her life to an asshole? Psh.
"I will escort her, sir." Jimin said so suddenly. "Take this as a start of our dating--"
"What the fuck? Put your hand down!" I hissed when he placed his arm around me. He put his arm down, embarrassed because of his actions. He doesn't have any right to do that. "And you will not escort me back to the hotel."
"Okay, Jimin." Dad made a wider smile. I don't know if they're teasing me or what, but it's really annoying!
The car stopped right in front of us, so he opened the car's door to let me in. I hopped in and when he was about to do the same, "Hey, Noodle Boy. Sit in front." He grinned and nodded. As soon as he buckled up, Yangho drove back to the hotel where I was staying.

"So much for catching the bouquet, huh?" He jested, but it wasn't funny. I knocked on the door and waited for Joshua to open it. "Hey," he called again, but I did not look at him. "I missed you." I gulped and thankfully, Joshua opened the door. He was puzzled to see me with Jimin.
"Mina! We're late for our flight!"
"It was cancelled." He raised a brow and his gaze went to Jimin, but he did not say anything.
"Did he bring you here?" He asked.
"I did not tell him to." I entered the room.
"It was done out of love." Jimin said, so I looked back.
"Love your ass." I did not want to hear any sugarcoated words from Jimin anymore, so I went to the shower room to clean up.
After cleaning up, it was Joshua whom I first saw. He was waiting for me right outside the bathroom. "What happened? You got me so worried." His voice was soft and caring. I can feel his worriment since I was gone the whole day and I'm still in my pajamas when I got here.
Sighing, I went to the dresser and sat there as I blow dry my hair. He stood behind me and took over what I was doing. I just let him dry my hair while he asks a few questions. "Tell me what happened." He commanded.
"Okay, nosy." I looked at him through the mirror. "Jimin..."
"Hmm?"
"...he's my future husband." He petrified, but recovered easily. I guess he did not see it coming. "That's why he was with me earlier."
"Damn." I chuckled at how he reacted. "So, are you going to stay here now?" He asked. "Is that why the flight was cancelled?"
"Yep, but I'm not going to stay here." I replied. "I had to explain to dad about my business back in the States. You know that we can't just let it stop. We have a lot of performers there--"
"You know, I can manage it alone." He laughed and started combing my hair. "Just say that those are your excuses."
"These aren't excuses!" He laughed even more when I defended myself. Gosh, this man. "Okay, stop now, Mr. Hong. Go to bed."
"Yes, Mrs. Park." I glared at him through the dresser's mirror, but he just made a chuckle. He went to bed just like what I had told him.
"By the way, we're leaving at 4:30 AM tomorrow. Flight's at six."

Sitting inside a plane for almost 13 hours is fucking exhausting. I feel like my ass has gotten flat now because of sitting too much.
It was evening when we got there, but it's okay. I received lots of text messages from Tiffany unnie when I got there. I did not reply to any of those messages because I'm still going to meet her when I arrive.
Minhyun is the one who fetched us from the airport. He asked so many questions while he's driving and it just drives me crazy as hell. I'm tired, so I can't give him answers at the moment. He must've felt that I hate being annoyed right now, so he shut up.
"Thank you," I waved my hands to them. Joshua has to go back to his house with his family, so I guess I'll just meet him tomorrow. Minhyun helped me with my luggages and bid his good bye afterwards.
Tiffany unnie opened the door and hugged me because she's so excited. "Honey! You have a visitor!" My eyebrows met because I don't remember anyone visiting me here besides Josh and Minhyun. Who could it be?
"Do you know who is it?" I asked and entered the unit.
She shook her head, "No."
"Well, where is that person?"
"He's inside your room." She smiled and let me go to my room myself.
I opened the door and hissed,
"Fuck you, Noodle Boy."
