Chapter LVII
MINA'S POV
It's been five days since Jimin left and I'm not getting any updates from him. I did not expect that he will be gone for this long just because of a business emergency, but I can't really blame him because things happen inevitably.
I don't know why I'm not receiving any updates from him. He did not text me once and it's bothering me. There were no calls nor messages, so I was somehow worried of his condition, but I've been telling myself that he and his family is okay. I'm praying that they're all right.
I was busy working for my worker's paycheck when Joshua knocked on my door. He's been looking more and more tired these days because he's been busy preparing for Youngbin's first birthday. "Hey, handsome." I greeted him, but he did not greet me back in which I find odd. He's sweaty and he looks like he ran from someplace else. "Are you okay?" I asked him.
He's catching his breath when he reached my table. He slammed his hands on my table, so I looked at his hands and saw that he's holding some papers. "What are those?" I asked him. Nervousness rose to my heart and I started asking a lot questions already.
"Did you not know?" He asked, a little bit mad for no reason. I don't know why he's fucking mad! "Mina, did you not know?!"
"What?!" I yelled back once he started shouting at me.
He lifted up the papers and threw it on my keyboard. He started pacing back and forth in front of me while pinching his nose bridge and closing his eyes. "Read that." He commanded.
"No, I will not." I calmly stated and stood up. I don't get his deal at all. He stormed to my office and yelled at me all of a sudden, so why the fuck am I going to do his orders? He's not the boss of me! "Summarize this for me."
"Jimin is getting married!"
I snickered, "Yeah, to me, duh?"
"No!" He shouted once again. He looks really angry. "He's getting married to Yoo Jeongyeon in three days in Korea!"
"Yoo Jeong--what?" Who the fuck?
"They pulled out the stocks from your family's company and they delayed your marriage with him already!"
"Why?" I asked him, but he did not manage to answer right away. "Tell me why, Hong Jisoo."
He sighed and placed both of his hands on his waist, "They knew."
"They knew what?"
"They knew your background." I petrified when he said the reason. "They found out that you worked as a harlot in the past and they did not want someone like you to marry Jimin--"
"Someone like me?" I cut him and he stiffened. "What the fuck am I? A monster? What do you mean by someone like me, Hong Jisoo?!"
"Look, it was not my intention to offend you by calling you something like that--"
"Please get out of my office." He looked at me with his pleading eyes, but I stared at him meaningfully that he decided to go instead of complaining. I glanced at the papers once again and decided to call Minhyun to get me plane tickets.
I taught you how to be brave? Then, what kind of cowardice is this? I'll show you what fucking braveness is, Park Jimin.

JIMIN'S POV
"Hyung," Minhyuk entered my door after he knocked three times. "Lunch is ready."
"I'm not eating." I told him and continued to stare at somewhere. All of this was a trap and I can't believe that my own father took my happiness away when he knew that all this time, I needed Mina.
"But you've been skipping meals for two days already." His tone was demanding and it was annoying the hell out of me. "At least join us for some family talk."
"I don't even know if I belong to this family." I whispered, but I'm sure that he heard it because it's a little loud. "What kind of father can fucking sell his son's future for business?" I stood up from my seat and faced Minhyuk. He looked tensed yet I know he's controlling himself. "Please leave me alone for a while, Minhyuk."
"Hyung," he sighed and walked towards me. He patted my shoulder while smiling bitterly. "I'm sorry if this had happened to you."
"Fuck you, Minhyuk." I threw his hand away from my shoulder. "Fuck everyone in this house! I'm living in bullshit!"
"All of this has a purpose, hyung, so don't say anything so soon."
"If they're so eager in marriage, why can't they sell you instead?!" I yelled, completely mad at them because of the situation that they put me in. "I'm tired of being told around! I never had the freedom I wanted in life!"
"Hyung, dad might here you downstairs--"
"And so? Even if I talk around for days, he will never listen to me because he thinks he's fucking superior!"
"Minhyuk." As if on cue, dad appeared by my doorstep. He looks so serious, but it did not give me shivers anymore. I know what I'm doing and I know for sure that I'm doing this because I want me and Mina to be happy together again. "I can take it from here. Go downstairs and eat."
"Yes, father." With a lowered head, Minhyuk said those words and exited my room. I looked at dad with my chin up.
"Jimin, we've talked about this already." He said as he closes the door. "Aren't you going to understand any of this? I'm doing this for you--"
"No, you're doing this for yourself!" I shouted and he seemed mad because I'm raising my voice to him even though I should not because he's my father. "Since when did you care for me and Minhyuk? All you cared about was business! You were never by our side when we were growing because you were inside your company, watching it grow happily!" He wasn't able to answer because he knows that everything is true. He never gave me and my brother enough attention since we were kids because he's a workaholic. Mom was there for us, but he's being forced by dad to work in the company, so the maids were the only people to take care of us back then.
He sighed and opened the door, "The marriage will still happen on Sunday. Everything is prepared already." I broke down.

MINA'S POV
I did not have access to Jimin because he's being kept by his dad inside their house, so I decided to call for that Yoo Jeongyeon instead. With Minhyun's connections, I was glad that I was able to meet Jeongyeon today because he's friends with her sister.
I was waiting for her on the table and I'm glad that she showed up. I stood up to greet her and she did the same. "Please, have a seat."
"Thank you," she seemed timid, to be honest. She's not Jimin's type. "I'm Yoo Jeongyeon." She held out her hand, so I took it and shook hands with her.
"Myoui Mina."
"I heard so much about you." My brows met. "I mean, because your dad is a businessman, right?" I nodded to her statement. "And you're pretty popular around here after faking your death." Wow, this bitch really does know me. "Why did you call for me, by the way?"
"You're marrying Park Jimin, am I right?" I asked her and she nodded. "Do you like him?"
"Liking him was out of my imagination." She laughed and I can tell that there's a 0% chance that she will be attracted to Jimin. "I don't like his presence the first time we met."
"So, you oppose to your marriage with him?" She nodded. "I'm suppose to marry him, did you know that?"
"I heard." She smiled and gestured to one of the waiters to get some water for us.
"How?"
"Headlines?" So, our marriage was on the news, too? "A lot of people talked about it on the SNS."
"Oh," I reacted. "Anyway, since you're opposed to your marriage with him, help me instead."
"What do you have in mind?"
I smirked, "A well-planned marriage for you and him."
