Jase's POV

I wake up with my arm around Lacey's waist. She's only one month pregnant and she already has a big bump. I rub her bloated stomach not trying to wake her but she moves. She turns around hugs me tightly. I hug her back and kiss her forehead. She escapes the hug and hurries to the bathroom. I follow her and walk in just in time to see her throwing up. I hold her hair back and rub her back as she continues. Once she's down she flushes the toilet and wipes her mouth. She moves to the sink and stands in front of it looking in the mirror. I stand behind her wrap my arms around her waist.

"You okay?" I ask her looking at her tired and worn out figure.

I lean in closer to her only to kiss her hand.

"Vomit and morning breath. I don't think so." she says giggling.

After we brush our teeth she finally gives me a kiss.

"Jase! Do you know what today is?!" Lacey asks while jumping on the bed.

"Yeah I do. I mean I should or I would be a terrible father. And get down before you fall off and break something."

"Party pooper." She sticks her tongue out at me then runs out the room.

I chase her while she laughs. She runs to Ivy's room and I follow. Ivy's already up but is concentrating on the music merry go round on her crib above her.

She hears me and Lacey come in then looks at us. She rolls on her stomach and smiles. "Dada! Mama!"

"Hi baby! Happy birthday! You're getting so big!" Lacey says to Ivy as she picks her up.

"Looks like daddy is going to have to fight off all the guys when Ivy gets older." I say walking toward the two of them.

"Don't worry mommy will distract daddy so you can have a boyfriend before your 80. He's such a party pooper! Isn't he?!" she says to a giggling Ivy.

Lacey hands me Ivy then walks out the room.

"Happy birthday sweetheart! I love you so much!" I say kissing her cheek.

"Dada!" Ivy giggles.

I leave the room and find Lacey in the kitchen making breakfast.

"So what's the plan momma bear?" I sit on one of the stools while asking Lacey. Ivy tries to get out my arms so I put her in the play pen behind me.

"Well daddy bear it seems like our moms have planned a little party for Ivy. And don't be mad at me but I invited Hope." She looks over at my face and smiles when she sees that I'm not angry.

"I'm fine with it but... you must've forgotten that everyone else hates her." I get up and walk behind her then wrap my arms around her and steal a piece of bacon she finished.

"Oh yeah. Well when it comes down to that time then I will talk to everyone. But for now stop eating all the bacon you fat pig."

"Oh so I'm a fat pig huh?" I kiss her neck as she laughs and tries to get out my arms.

"Yeah you are! Now let go." She laughs as I tickle her sides.

"No now I'm hungry." I bite her neck not hard.

"Jase! Stop!" She laughs more. I finally stop and sit back down by Ivy's play pen.

"I love you princess." I say looking at her smiling.

"I love you too fat pig." She smiles back.

Lacey's POV

I wear a white sundress with ballet flats. My baby bump is already noticeable and I'm only one month pregnant. It's not huge but it's there.

I hear the door open and look in the mirror to see Jase with a beautifully dressed Ivy.

"You look amazing princess."

"Thank you. You look handsome and good job picking out matching clothes for Ivy. She looks adorable."

"I try." He winks at me.

"Let's go." I laugh to myself.

I grab Ivy's bag and lock the door as Jase puts Ivy her car seat.

Duke's POV

The doorbell rings and I look around to see everyone else busy with decorations.

"I'll get it!" I yell.

"Thank you sweetie!" Catherine says while putting the last touch on the cake.

I open the door to see River.

"Hey man! How's it going? What are you doing here?"

"Um well Lacey invited me and my girlfriend." He says nervously while raking his hands through his hair.

"Who's your girlfriend?" I ask with a confused look on my face.

River moves to the side and behind him is Hope.

Oh hell no.

"What?! Lacey?! Invited you? I don't believe you."

"What are you talking about? And why is my name involved?" I look behind Hope to see my sister and Jase carrying Ivy.

"You are in big trouble missy."

Lacey's POV

"And that's why I forgave her and why I invited them to Ivy's birthday party." I say watching everyone's expressions.

My mom bursts into tears. "It's all my fault. If I hadn't fallen in love with Robb then..."

"Then me, Duke, Hope, and Ivy wouldn't be here. Everything happens for a reason. Plus hopes mom is just plain crazy."

"Oh Hope honey you should've just come to me. I know I lost my husband but I would've let you stay with us. You're like my daughter." My mom says hugging Hope.

"I see that now. I'm so sorry for everything I've caused. We should just leave now." Hope escapes my moms hug and grabs River's hand pulling him to the door.

"No! You are part of this family young women and you too young man." Catherine says.

"Thank you." Hope smiles.

"Group hug!" I scream.

"Happy Birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Ivy! Happy birthday to you!" Everyone sings.

Ivy looks confused at everyone but giggles when she sees the cake.

She's gonna be a fat pig just like her dad.

I look at the two who look at the cake like it's the last thing on earth. Jase helps her blow out the candles. Then Catherine and my mom start taking tons of pictures. I cut the cake and give everyone a piece then feed Ivy a little bit and eat the rest of her piece myself.

"Lace not to be rude. But you should lay off the cake." Duke says.

Kaylee and Chasity hit his arm.

"What? I'm just saying."

"Yeah you do look like you're gaining some weight." Luke says not looking up from his cake.

Freddy slaps his head making him look up. Luke looks at Wes who is pointing at me.

I probably look like I'm going to cry.

"Not that you're fat or anything! I mean it's not... not even noticeable." Luke says hoping no one hits him.

I burst out laughing with tears falling down my face.

"Are you okay?" I look up to see Hope and River looking at me worried.

"I'm fine." I say after I finish laughing. "And I'm not gaining weight because I'm eating too much."

"Then how else are you gaining weight?" Wes says looking confused.

"You're pregnant!" Chasity, Kaylee, and Hope yell happily.

I nod. Everyone cheers and congratulates me and Jase.

After putting Ivy in her crib I take a shower. I hum to myself while closing my eyes. Then I feel arms wrap around my waist. Jase loves to feel the baby bump so he always puts his arms around my waist.

"Hey baby. You scared me."

"Sorry princess." He rests his chin on my shoulder while stroking my baby bump.

He kisses up and down my neck. I moan feeling his 'happiness'. I turn around and wrap my arms around his neck. He pecks my lips but I deepen the kiss. Our tongues intertwine as our hands wonder. You know what happens next I for need to explain.

I lay my head on his chest as he rubs my back.

"I love you." I whisper as I fall asleep.

"I love you more princess." I feel him kiss my forehead as I drift off thinking how much my life has changed. But it changed for the better. And everything is perfect.
