Today is my first day of this new life. And of course like every normal human even I expect for everything to go okay but my mom and my very sweet sister Ankita won't let me ever get on time on the very first meeting with my CEO. I don't know what the hell they are doing and why the hell it is taking them so long.

"Mom can you just hurry up!!! Please!! Come on I beg you now. I'll get late"

I pleaded thinking that at least that might work, but no. Now, dad was the only option left.

"Dad!! Mom and Anki are getting me late... Please, can you just convince them that I have a meeting with my boss? What reputation will I give to my boss??"

I was now really angry. And I was just about to shout and that's when something sweet came in my mouth, I don't care what it was but it was sweet.

"What's this??"

"It is sweet curd Annu. Our elders say that it is for good luck and secondly you have a meeting with your boss. Your boss should love you and your work." My dad said.

I hugged him and Anki and mom came by and I hugged them too saying them goodbye I took my Activa keys. Rushing I speeded my two-wheeler and reached my office and entered in the parking.

Everything today in me was a total mess. My hair, my clothes, like everything. I should have told Anki to pick clothes for me. Anki picks the best pair of clothes for me. At least I would have dressed better than what I had worn. I adjusted a bit of my hair looking in the rear mirror. It was next to a bird's nest. Okay! Not that bad but it did look like a mess. I went for the lift as I was already late and not at all in a mood to follow my fitness mantra.

I entered the office and asked the peon if Mrs. Goel had come or not while he was filling a glass of water for me.

"No ma'am. She hasn't arrived yet. Ma'am you just relax. Mrs. Goel is really sweet. She hasn't ever shouted on us. So just relax."

He tried to comfort me but I was still tensed.

"Thank you Rakesh bhaiya [brother]."

It was already nine and everyone said Mrs. Goel arrives at almost 9:00 am. It was just fifteen minutes and here she arrives greeting everyone and my heart beat went on increasing. She greeted me too but I was so tensed that I replied after a minute. I guess she knew I was a newbie. She almost looked as if she was in her mid-fifties but with the strength and her fitness, no one could possibly judge her age. After some minutes Mrs. Goel's PA came and he told me to come in her cabin with the required documents. He was really rude to me I don't know why.

I was still tensed even though till now I was confronted by three of my colleagues. It was my third day in this office but my very first meet with my boss. Yes, I was qualified to work with this company but my interviewer had told me that my boss wished to meet me. She was not in the town when I was qualified to work with 'Goel's and Co.'. Goel's and Co. was an interior designing company and was involved with building and setting up hotels all over in Goa. As I entered her cabin I asked,

"May I come in ma'am?"

"Yes, you may dear."

She replied with so softness that made me a bit confident.

"Have a seat and can you give me your documents?"

"Yes, ma'am."

I replied with an ease and gave her my documents. She continued to say,

"I see Miss Sinha you have got really good qualifications. Now I understand why Mr. Khanna didn't want to lose you as an employee. But there are some rules and norms of this company which everyone has to follow. Also, I have a question for you"

I gulped and she carried on with her talk taking my silence as a cue.

"Rule no.1 never ever call me ma'am, you can either call me Samaira or Mrs. Goel. Rule no.2..."

I got a bit tensed after she said rule no.2.

"If you have any problem you can always take a consultancy advice or call me anytime. And the last rule, don't ever believe any other rules anyone ever tells you except I tell you any new rule."

"Okay ma'am!"

"Again Miss Sinha..."

"Sorry ma'am umm... Mrs. Goel. Mrs. Goel?"

"Yes sweetheart"

"Please call me Annu I would be pleased."

"Yeah sure, why not Annu. Umm... Do you mind being my new personal assistant?"

WHAT??? But doesn't she already have a PA? He just came right...

"My personal assistant Annu"

Oh no, did I speak that out loud?

"Yes you did dear"

Oh god, what is wrong with me!!!!!

"But Mrs. Goel why would you want me to be your PA? You already have Sameer... no matter how rude and stupid he might be but he is actually a good PA. What about him?"

Someone do some shit with this blabbering please!

"I know Sameer is good at work but you know I never got a feeling of a companion with my assistant. They always work like they are my employee. If I actually wanted an employee then why would I hire them as my assistant. They never understand this. I have changed three PAs till now and all three were boys. It will be like trial and error. I have tried boys as my PA but I never tried a girl. Plus having you as my PA would not only feel like having a PA but it would also feel like I have gotten a daughter of my own. It would feel as if like heaven if you will be my PA. So, here I am giving you a chance. Would you work with me as my assistant?"

The daughter word felt heavy and made me a bit sentimental and without having any second thoughts I said yes to her.

"Yes, Mrs. Goel I'd love to. It would be really grateful to have another mom like you."

"And don't worry about Sameer. I'll handle him. Just wait and watch"

She had that evil grin over her face. I was really scared. This was a notation that something bad is going to happen. And with that she broke the train of my thoughts by saying something which was unexpected.

"Annu?"

"Yes, Mrs. Goel?"

"You may take a leave today and celebrate your new position in this office."

"But Mrs. Goel I don't mind working today. I have been already working for three days. It won't be a problem for me."

"Okay dear, but you'll leave immediately as soon as I tell you where you'll work and what your schedule will be from tomorrow."

"But Mrs. Goel..."

And with that, she cut me off!! Pfft!! Of course just like mom.

"No arguments dear. In fact, it's going to take you a lot of time to explain to your family what happened today. And listen, call Sameer and tell him that I have called him and also pack all your stuff and come into the cabin"

"Okay!"

I couldn't argue with her because she really had a point. It's really going to take a lot of time explaining everyone at home.

I called Sameer and Mrs. Goel asked me to wait. I simply agreed and was thinking how would I convince everyone at home and that's when something utterly shocking happened.

"Mrs. Goel you called me" Sameer said in a really polite voice. I swear I could punch him in the face and even you would when you would hear him talk with you. He is really rude. I don't get this how can this idiotic guy change his colors so fast. I swear he is even faster than chameleon changing its colors.

"Yes, Sameer. I wanted to say that you have one month left, okay!"

Man, I was utterly confused and so was Sameer.

"One month left for what?"

"For you to pack your things up and to find a new job"

"Huh??"

"Oh yeah! Sorry, I forget to tell you... You are fired!"

"WHAT????"

Oh, come on like say what??? Plus he literally screamed. I hope my eardrums are doing good.

"You are fired. Simple as that"

"But why??"

"Because you are rude to everyone and stop screaming you will burst my eardrums."

Man... she is so like me. I already love her.

"But what about your assistant?"

Oh so is he gonna play that card. I literally controlled my laugh. Well, he's gonna have his jaw dropped in seconds.

"I got one. She is standing right beside you"

And here we go... 1... 2... 3... jaw dropped. Mission accomplished. Ha! Told ya...

"Are you kidding me?? You are gonna make this bitch your PA!!!"

"Language mister!" Me and Mrs. Goel both said in unison. Plus he earned a tight slap from me. He deserved it. Now it was my time to speak.

"Out of the cabin Sameer."

"Ha! That's my girl!"

Well, can I adopt her already! Shut up you stupid mind. How can you adopt her!

Mrs. Goel explained me everything, right from where my desk would be till what I had to do from tomorrow, work of 9 to 5, everything well explained and well planned. After a few hours of explaining and having discussions about everything, right from her habit to have coffee which is mixed with red wine to going shopping with her we discussed everything. As I was about to leave the office she called me,

"Annu. Wait a minute. I have a question for you."

"Yes Mrs. Goel I am ready to answer all your questions"

"Why did you leave your last job? Now don't tell me that you got fired, because I had a conversation with your ex-boss he is actually a good friend of mine and he told me that you personally left your job and I also got to know you were being paid more there than here than why did you choose to change your job?"

"Mrs. Goel... Umm... There were some issues..."

"Feel free to share."

"Mrs. Goel if you don't mind can we not talk about this."

"Share whenever you feel comfortable."

"Thank you for understanding."

"Anytime sweetheart."

I left her cabin and headed for home. Why does this happen to me?? When one problem exits my life another enters the very next minute. Why???

Now the problem was to explain what happened today. Someone please do the hell with this EXPLAINATION!!!!!
