*Alisha's Pov*

Me, " Why are you always busy at home?"

Asher while turning his file's page," Just a bit of work left ."

Me closing the file and pulling it,"It's enough for today."

He ," Heyy ..eyy stooppp it!"

Me stood up holding the file," NOoo... it's too much for today."

I moved round to place it away but then he caught my hand and turned me to face him .

His brown eyes with black brows were questioning me.

He," My file Alishay?"

Alisha," What if I won't return?"

He making a smart face ," Hmm ..I will try some other trick then."

What he could do?NAHhh.. nothing!!

Me folding my arms ,
" Try it!"

He moved his hands near me.What is going on in his mind and then he started tickling .I am such a person who may laugh from five feet distance seeing someone is trying to tickle me .I burst out in laughter while he with a smart look,
"NOWw ..Give me the files Alishayy.."

Me laughing while returning ," Oh ohkay ohkay."

He stopped and put the files aside.
He smiling," I will complete pending work tomorrow . "

I smiled back.

He," You want to go somewhere? "

Me," No."

He ," Ohhhhh...I see..You want my attention."

Have I said that to him? Nope.But he guessed it right.

Me ," Umm..it's not like that .It's just that - - ."

He cutted," You can say the truth."

I looked downward.How can I say that I need his attention as I remember those days when I used to say I don't adore him.I hated him , I took his silence as his weakness but the real truth is that he silently won my heart.He silently won all the battles between us.He won every argument without raising his voice above mine.He silently built respect in my heart while I only lose all of mine with my poor attitude.I knew he never say this but deep inside my guilt will always blaming me for it.And here tears came out my eyes.

He lifted my chin up ,his brown eyes met mine blues ," What happened?"

Me," I am sorry Asher."
Tears starts rolling through my cheecks.

He in shock ,"For what?"

Me," For every-time I hu-rte-dd yyou.For times I mis-behaved."

He again cutted me ,"Shhhh...It's fine don't take it seriously."

Me," I sometimes think that I don't even deserve such a nice person."

He gave me a disguisting look.

He after a little pause," You know what you deserve ?you deserve much better.So many things you have faced whether it is a loss of mother or father....whatsoever it is.You pulled through.You have made it this far and I am proud of you!"

He paused...

He," You deserve all good things .You're like a sun to me.Who whenever sets rises up with more shine and beauty.What ever happened was our past...."

I cutted his sentence facing down,"...and I made such an awkward past."

He," No this was pre-planned by Allah.And His plans are always for some reason."

I asked ,"Reason?"

He tapped his fingers on my forehead saying,"
Yes,reason.There are thousands of reasons behind which are sometimes our small intellegence can't even imagine."

He smiled with believe .His believe is his strength. I always wish I could think as he does.

At Asher friend's farmhouse:

After dinner I sat beside the pool while my feet were in the water however Asher was on his call.

He came back while moving his fingers on the phone.

He tilted down and wispered to my ears said," Let's sit on the grass there."

He moved his hands .I grabbed them and stood up.Wearing my slippers ,he wrapped his hands along my shoulders.

We set on the grass while it was a fine weather,not so cold.

I put mt hands on the grass while tilted back and looked at the sky.The sky is clear today ,hundreds of stars were twinkling .I want to capture the whole scene in my eyes.

Me," I used to count stars with my mom ." I smiled imagining those days.

I paused..

" I always wanted to count all of them but everytime I fell asleep counting." I chuckled.

He smiled saying "Let's count I won't let you sleep ."

" This is only possible if you won't sleep.And I know you are such a sleepy person." I taunted.

He laughed.

He leaning down on the grass while putting his head on his hands," No no I am not much sleepy."

He smiled.

Me staring him," Hmm and I can see that."

He laughed.

We talked for a while while I told him about one of my friend who have teased me on my hijab and I was really upset on her.

Me in stress," I don't know why but sometimes I felt like my decision is wrong or maybe I took that decision without thinking about the problems I would have to face."

He calmly," What if I just say that forget and forgive whatever she told you."

My eyes opened more as I was not expection someone can say this so easily.

Me," She made fun of me Asher...she not just told something I can easily forget about."

He making me calm saying," She is unaware of what she is pointing to.And she did said alot of nice things to you.You're upset on only one thing she once said to you."

Me," You don't know about girls Asher."

He rolled his eyes saying," Yeah ,I really don't know about GIRLS Alishay."

I tried to hide my laugh but I failed.

He," Well...Alisha don't let anyone get over your nerves. I know it's not easy but do mark my words."

She," I am not like you.I cannot get calm while someone is fighting with me.Nor I get to stop if someone hits me with their cruel words.I can't stop fighting back."

He smiled," You might fight back and win the argument but never wins the heart."

Me," No no.."
But deep down I knew that he was right .I won that fight by shouting but I lost my friend.

Me," But you know what now I fear to meet my friends.They won't like me now, they won't like this change."

He sat there silent.And I was telling him everything like a kid.I was not like this before but I don't know from when I get so relax with him .I want to share every little thing with him.

I further said," I don't want to meet them now."

He ," Don't feel this way .Get back to them .Face them, maybe they taunt you , make fun of you , set jokes on you but they will know in their hearts that they're wrong.Before that you have to show some patience."

He smiled.

Me ," That's hard."

He," I know .Maybe you fail ,fall or mess up but don't stop."

I nodded.

It was too late talking that we didn't realised .I leaned back too beside him and we started staring the stars again.

*Alisha's pov*

I don't know why eyerything is roaming around.

* I woke up rubbing my eyes*

It's 10 am and it feels like I am still tired.

Alisha you are getting more and lazy nowadays.

I shocked my head and headed towards the bathroom.I am not even willing to take a hot shower.I open up the tap and through splashes more my face.It helps me to wide open my eyes ,finally.

*My phone rings*

I wished it's Asher ( don't know why as he just left few hours before) but soon my I realised it's of my friend Atika.Old school's good friend of mine.I feel excited to talk to her but my head is roaming so I sat down on bed.

Me," Assalam o Alikum ,how're you ?"

Atika," Wailikum Assalam ,I am totally fine how're you dear?"

Me," I'm goo--d.. but don't know why feeling sleepy and lazy these days."

Atika," Lazy?"

Me huffed," Yeah,I feel the laziness is in the air these days."

Atika," I mean GIRL don't you know what that meant?"

Me shocked," What means what?"

Atika," Wait tell me one thing ..Are you feeling nausea or something?"
I recalled last night I haven't ate alot still feeling nausea.So YES!

Me,"Yeah but how do you know?"

Atika," YOU STUUPIDD!! YOU ARE EXPECTING."

Me," WHAT?"

Atika," CONGRATULATIONSSSSSS Alishaa I am sooo very happy for you"

I stood up from bed.

Me," Wait ..No..how cou-ld?..."

Atika," What ?? Chill relaxxx. ..and tell you husband stupid!"

Me," No like how is it ....?"

Atika cut me saying," Calm down girl! It's a really big news but yeah it's true.Why aren't you sound happy?"

Me," I don't believe that?"

Atika," You should! You're going to be a mommy." She chukled.

Mommy? I don't know how to react?

Me," Well what shall I do now?"

Atika laughed out louder for few seconds and then said," You're unbelievable ! Like people wish to have what you've and you're asking me what to do?"

Me," It my first time .How in the world I know that what to say on it?"

Atika," How in the world can someone not aware that she is expecting or not?"

She is going to tease me now.

I laughed ," Oh okay.. "

Atika," Go tell Asher about it .GOOO RUNN."

I laughed again," Well Okay we will talk back later then."

Atika," And Hey listen..."

Me," Hmm?"

Atika," Take especial care of yourself."

Me," Sure.Thanks..."

I hunged up.

I don't believe what I just discovered.I don't know how to react? I should tell Asher but not in a usual way.I want to surprise him more than it was a surprise to me.

Asher's pov:

I got Promotion today.Now I am MANAGER ASHER .Alhumdulillah.

I get to the kitchen to find Alisha but she wasn't there.I was excited to tell her this big news.

I shouted," Alishayy where are you?"

She didn't replied.

Maybe she's busy.

I searched her to study room then drawing room she was no where.I ended up looking our bed room.

I entered the room it was dark.The only light was coming out was from the door I opened.

Me,"what's going on here?"

I searched for the switches on the wall while Alisha slaped my hand to stop me.

I pulled the hand to myself .Her blue eyes with black eye liner looking more adorable now.She was dressed nicely to a black gown .Why is she dressed like this? I have a good news but who told her about that?

Alisha,"Leave me. You're hurting me"

Oh I was lost in my thoughts without realising that I was holding her wrist too tight .

I losen my hands and asked," Is there something special today?"

She smiled but stayed quite.

She moved towards the table .She openup the ligther and lightens the candles on the table.

She decorated the table so beautifully.There was stakes, chinese rice and chowmien with three plates and spoons.

I looked at her in surprise.As she had never behaved this way before.

She said smiling," Let's have a candle light dinner."
Her voice was full of joy and happiness.But what's my news is she will be really happy to listen .

She pulled the chair and asked me to sit.Why so formal? Well I feel like a cheif guest right now!

I opened my coat button and sat on the chair saying," Thankyou!"

I am still in a confusion that what happened with her?

Me," Is there some occasion today?"
This ain't our wedding day .

She didn't replied to my question and said," Let's start."

There is something she's not telling me but maybe it's just I am thinking like this.

We start eating.

I told her about my promotion and we talked a little more.

He already smiling face is now more happy .She was literally glowing today.

I was too excited to tell her my news then ask her what is this formal dinner for.

Me ," Mmmm...Stakes are really delicious."

She smiled.

My again saw that third empty plate with a spoon which I had no idea about.Why is there third plate?

Did she invited someone?

We finished the dinner as she run towards the kitchen and returned with desert.

This is such a big day literally.

I am having a full time V.I.P treatment and I have no idea why is this all for?

She put the three cakes on the table.Two were big while a third one is small but the cutest.

I am already so full so I headed towards the smallest cakes.While...

She shouted," This one is not for you!"

She took that back from me.

I asked ," Is there someone you invited?"

She," No."

Me ," So why there is an extra plate and cake for?"

She smiled and winked," For someone special."

I gave her a questioning look.

She starts eating the cake .

I am still in a confusion that why has she done this for?

Me," Well ...why is this all for?"

She, " This all is to make our day memorable."

But what is important about this day? my promotion? but she just got this news now.

She," Asher..what if there's someone arrive to our family?"

I questioned," Someone? "

She putting her spoon down,smiling," Yeah, someone, a little one?"

*Her eyes glittered up *

what Little one?What?

Me taking a spoon full of cake ," Stop asking riddles Alishay .Get to the point."

She," But I want you to know what I meant from riddles." she paused and again," Okay! last chance ,now if you didn't get it I won't tell you anything!"

I put the spoon back on the plate ,cleaned my hands with napkins and put my hands on the table to focus my last chance ," Okay! Let's ask."

She ," What happened if someone.."
She paused and here my heart beats increased I DON'T KNOW WHY?
"enters in our family WHO...." She paused again.

Me," WHO WHAT??"

She smiled and slowed down her voice ,"calls you DADDY."

WHATT?Did I heard it right?
Here the whole world seems to stop against my eyes.I don't know why?
I don't know whether to smile or not .

I gave her a anonymous expression and confirmed again," Daddy? You want to say that you are.."

She was smiled nodding her face while her eyes were wet.And I don't believe this man!

I grabs her hands ," I am-mm sooo happy-y .This is the greatest news of my life."

I rubbed her hands and my eyes again saw that third plate with that little cup cake.

Me," Ahh ..I am just so stupid!! This all were the signs but I had no idea about it .Literally."

Her tears fallen to her cheecks ended up to her lips.I don't know why is she crying?

Me," You are crying?"

She touched her checks and checked her tears like she don't even knew that .

She," I am just so happy."

I heard that people cry out over over-happiness but I have never seen people crying while they are happy.

I laughed.

Me," You have to tell me this news before .Your news was greater then mine.When you knew this?"

She smiled," In the morning."

She chuckled saying," How can I ruin this time by telling you on phone?...I want to see your expressions live."

We both laughed. She was right .
