thanks for waiting, I am so sorry that I update so slowly.

A quick reminder that I sometimes use initials to show who's talking. Here's an index.

This chapter is gonna switch once between Maya P.O.V. and Josh P.O.V.

Maya P.O.V.

I arrive at Riley's, through the bay window of course. Riley is sitting there with the same shocked open-mouthed expression she had when I asked Lucas out this morning. I carefully try to close her mouth, I exclaim" YOW!" as she tries to bite my hand.

-A little later-

I'm trying to arrange a date between Huckleberry and Riles when Josh enters the apartment, my knees go weak as I softly mumble" Uncle Boing." Topanga tries to catch me but I'm already on the ground. All attention goes from Boing to me, Josh sees I fell so he quickly walks over to me, puts his hand and asks" You okay, Maya?" I take his hand and answer "Yeah,  I'm fine, thanks, Josh."

-A few hours later-

Me, Farklestein, Riles and Huckleberry are on our double date. I notice Lucas nudging Riley. We both follow his gaze and see Josh with another girl. My heart breaks at the sight, it shows me that he will never like me the way I like him. I hear the girl say" Josh, I have to go." and Josh replies" Okay, see you next time, Kat."  They hug but don't kiss, well he does kiss her cheek. I look at Riley, I notice that she isn't sitting in her seat but on Lucas's lap with her hand on his cheek. She suddenly kisses him, I glance at Joshua and then at Farkle, I see that he's walking towards me, I put my hand up and he kisses it.

- Josh P.O.V.-

Kat leaves, I look around and see Maya, Farkle, Lucas and Riley. Riley suddenly kisses Lucas, I don't mind but I know for a fact that Cory will freak out. I look at Farkle, he's walking towards Maya, who puts her hand up, Farkle looks at Maya, then her hand and kisses it. I flinch at the thought of someone kissing Maya besides me.

I quickly stand, take Maya's hand and get off the underground. I rush to Topanga's, pulling Maya behind me, she stumbles and nearly falls. I turn to her " You okay?" She answers with" Where are we going?" J " To Topanga's, we have things to discuss." I turn my back to her, bend my knees a bit and say" Hop on." M "Why?" J " I don't want you to stumble but I do want to get there soon." She gets on my back, I continue running to Topanga's.

We arrive five minutes later, I ask Topanga to close the café because Maya and I have things to discuss and I would rather do that right here at her café with only her around, she agrees and tells all the customers that the café is closing early, everyone pays and leaves. Maya takes a seat, I sit across from her. M " Okay, what do you want to discuss? J " Why are you all dressed up?" M " Remember this morning?" J " When I helped you up because you had fallen on the floor?" M " Yes, well, I was arranging a date between Riley and Lucas, but the only way that could happen was if we made it a double date and I went with Farkle." J " But why are you dressed up if it's just something with friends?" M "Well I didn't care about this date, but it seemed very important to Riley, Lucas and Farkle, so I decided to give them at least 84%." I think " If this is 84%, I wonder what's 100%."

M " So is this all you want to know?" J " Yes, no, Maya, I want to get to know you." M" Okay, what do you want to know?" J " Who you are, Your passions, likes, dislikes, weird fetishes." M " Okay, let's take it slow, let's start with my passions, okay?" J " Yeah, okay." She smiles at me. M " Okay, well I'm very passionate about my friends, because, otherwise I wouldn't be all dressed up like this." I chuckle. J" Continue please." She blushes and I'm once again reminded of her beauty.
M" uh, okay, I'm very passionate about art and I would like to get a degree in it." That spikes my interest. J " Okay, who's your favourite artist?" M " There are a lot of artists that I like, but I like this one artist named Farideh Lashai, she has this beautiful quote, it goes like this:

We can only borrow from nature.

We are only guests in the landscape.

We can never own the sky, the clouds or the hills.

We can only gaze at them in awe and try to reproduce them.

When talking about this artist, she gets this spark in her eye and I can see that she really loves art. Well, I know where I'm taking her if we ever do go on a date, though I doubt that's ever going to happen.

I wish I wasn't three years older.
