Hey guys, so in this chapter and the ones that follow I'm gonna be using intials to show who is talking, OK?

M= Maya Hart ( I'm not saying Hart-Hunter because this is before Shawn adopts her.)

R= Riley Matthews

Josh P.O.V.

I enter my brother's appartment. J "Hey family." M" Yeah, hi, I don't care. So Riley, shouldn't we be heading to school since there's nothing that's of any interest to me here?" R" Yeah, let's go." A" How long do you think she'll be able to keep cool?" R" I give her one minute until she jumps on his head." Maya and Riley get up and get their bags. J" I came here because I want to do this in front of all of you. I hold in my hand the letter from NYU that will tell me where I'll be for the next four years." Maya and Riley close the door behind them and I feel in my heart that I have lost my chances with Maya. I'm about to start scolding myself when the door flies open and Riley and Maya run back in. M" Where will you be !?!?" Maya jumps on my back, we both stop breathing for a second remembering the last time she was on my back. She tries to grab my NYU letter and I try to throw her of my back. J" Get of me !" M" Give it !!!" J" It's my life !!" M"It affects me too !!" She takes the letter from me and opens it. M" Dear applicant Boing." J" It doesn't say that!" M" This year we're only accepting married applicants." J" it doesn't say that ." M" So we regret to inform you." J" Regret to inform me?" I stop  trying to throw her of me. M" We regret to inform you that you will be spending the next four years in New York with Maya!!!!" I carefully but quickly slip her off my back and turn to her. We both open our arms to hug one another but before I can take even one step closer to her Cory, Topanga, Auggie and are around me, hugging and congratulating me. I look over my shoulder and see Maya with a sad expression sitting on couch. I want to push everyone aside , pick her up, hug and thank her for telling me the news in such a sweet and comical way. But I can't because she's to young for me. J" You know a friend of mine invited me to her dorm if I got in to meet some of her friends, tonight at ten in Greenwich Hall." Maya gets up and takes Riley's hand. M" Well congratulations Josh but me and Riley have a bay window calling us." C" Don't you have school?" M" Matthews, haven't you learned anything? When me or Riley say we're going to the bay window then we go to the bay window! Okay?" Maya and Riley leave the room.
Maya's P.O.V.
Me and Riley enter her room and sit at the bay window. M" Can I stay here tonight?" R" YAY!!!" M"But not really. I'm going to that party." R" But Josh said it could go until ten." M" No, it starts at ten." R" What?" M" That's what he said." R" Maya, you can't go, it's a NYU party and we're in middle school." M" Riley, I'm going no matter what you say." R" Okay,if you're then I'm going with you." M" You sure?" R" Yes, I'm sure." M" Okay."
