The entire auditorium sang along with the girls who were dancing to 'bang bang bang' by big bang. It's especially amusing because the girls were actually great dancers and did not make a fool out of themselves by choosing a male group's song to dance on. Taehyung laughed as Jackson and mingyu copied the steps. Mark, jaehyun and yugyeom were just jumping around. Eunwoo had lost his composed mannerisms the moment they entered the auditorium. Yeonjun and taehyung were somewhat sane in order to control these hooligans if need be. But right after the play was performed, the sophisticated behaviour left their bodies as well in an instant.

Taehyung cannot believe jungkook literally whistled when soobin took the stage during the play.

His boyfriend had, however, suddenly disappeared saying that he needed to use the restrooms. It's been two whole performances already and he has not returned yet. Taehyung thought maybe jungkook was with soobin. He also did not pay much heed to this because he was busy enjoying the festival with his friends.

"Jinyoung! Park jinyoung!" Tae called louder to grab the seemingly deaf boy's attention.

"Oh taehyung." Jinyoung smiled. He was still awkward around taehyung's friends as half of them clearly showed their thirst for his blood every time he was anywhere within their radius.

"Come here you! I've been trying to call you for so long! You seriously need to get your ears checked." Taehyung scolded.

"What's up jinyoung." Yeonjun said blankly. He, and the rest of them, had been warned by taehyung to act cordial with jinyoung in the least. 

"Yeonjun."

"What? I just said hi."

Taehyung rolled his eyes at the evident sarcasm.

"Anyway! Minho's performing next!" Tae clapped his hands in excitement. During the preparation of this school festival taehyung found another amazing friend in the form of Lee Minho, a junior and incharge of the dance committee after Mark quit.

"What the hell is Jungkook doing there?" someone said.

Everyone was caught off guard when Minho took the stage along with two other boys. Taehyung's eyes bulged out of their sockets when jungkook walked up with Minho and San. The music started off with slow subtle piano keys, San was leading the choreography here. Then Minho took the centre and the beat changed to something darker and electric. When the beat turned up again for the third time jungkook was leading the choreography and it was as if the students were caught in a trap. Hypnotised by the electronic music with soft piano melody in the background. That was not the jungkook taehyung is familiar with. The three boys danced with passion, so much that the stage shook with their steps.

There was second of silence when the music stopped and then it was chaos unleashed. Students were howling, screaming and yelling on top of their lungs. Demanding a repeat of the performance.

"Go Jungkook!" taehyung screamed as his boyfriend walked off the stage with a huge grin.

"I thought he was cancelled from the participants list!" taehyung was baffled and excited at the same time.

"Minho must have pulled him in! oh my god he was on fire!" eunwoo chimed in. "The hell kind'a vibe was that!?"

"Sexually demonic you guys!" Jackson jumped in, "fucking awesome!"

"They are going to take the first place." Mark spoke. Taehyung nodded in agreement.

The group welcomed Jungkook with loud cheers and slaps on the back. Various questions were thrown at him but he only replied with one word, "surprise!". Taehyung hugged him, complimenting him a gazillion times. He even went as far as kissing his cheek, which no one seemed to mind and Jungkook obviously enjoyed.

"Did you enjoy the performance?" Jungkook asked tae when the audience's attention shifted to the next group. He intertwined their fingers which taehyung accepted by leaning further onto Jungkook.

"I did, I want to watch you perform more often. It's truly mesmerising.." taehyung's smile was Jungkook's trophy.

Jungkook kissed taehyung's forehead. They felt oddly free from the judgemental crowd. They were more bold and upfront with their behavior toward each other now. Braver than before. Of course, they were in love. However, peace was a luxury they were still struggling to attain in their relationship.

Taehyung excused himself from his friends when he received this message. His gut told him to bring Jungkook along, but the boy was occupied by San and Minho at the moment on the other side of the stage. Taehyung jumped steps to reach soobin quicker, his heart was about to pop out of his throat. He prayed for the younger's safety as he made his way to the cursed lab. He began to hear voices as he neared the door of the laboratory.

"Hyung please don't do this!" soobin cried.

Taehyung barged in, imagining the worst. But fortunately, soobin was standing at a distance from Kangjoon. However, he was crying and begging him profusely. Kangjoon's expression contorted to that of extreme annoyance when he saw tae.

"How dare you soobin! You called him here!" kangjoon yelled at the poor boy. Taehyung quickly stood in front of soobin.

"How dare you call him here after I told you to stay the fuck away from him!"

"You little shit, you just don't realise when to keep quiet, do you?"

"Honestly kangjoon what do you get out of-"

taehyung was interrupted by kangjoon playing a video all of a sudden. His phone screen displayed images of Jungkook, jimin and chanyeol rolling a joint and laughing too loudly. Taehyung felt his heart beating faster than ever before. He could not believe his eyes. And cherry on the pie, the boys were in the school library which could be recognised clearly.

"It was the funniest dare of my life!" kangjoon spoke startling taehyung.

'That is fake." tae whispered.

"Oh no its not, and you know it kim taehyung." kangjoon bent down a little to look taehyung in the eyes, "Shocked now aren't we? You think your boyfriend is goodie-two-shoes? Fuck no! He is a dirty prankster, the spawn of satan. I admit he has changed a lot in the last year but that does not mean his past is buried now."

taehyung shook his head.

"Say taehyung, what would happen if my Dad saw this video? You know with him being a board member in seoul university and our next school Principal. I was just wondering.."

His dad is our science teacher.

"You will not." taehyung gritted his teeth.

"Then give me soobin." kangjoon smirked.

"He is not an object! You cannot acquire him like this you shithead!" tae yelled. Feeling anger bubble within him he pushed kangjoon back making him stumble into one of the desks.

"HE IS MINE!" Kangjoon retorted moving too fast to let taehyung even see the fist coming at him.

taehyung fell with the impact. Soobin gasped loudly but something clicked in his head. He dashed toward kangjoon aiming to reach the phone in his hand. Kangjoon saw him and pulled his hand back, pushing soobin not too harshly. In an instant taehyung was at him punching him square in the face. The phone slipped from his grip. Soobin kicked it in haste to send it far away from kangjoon's reach. The device slid under a huge cupboard that held chemistry books on top and test equipment on the bottom.

"You rat!" Kangjoon cried out in frustration. he grabbed taehyung's hair and threw him against the opposite wall then went for soobin.

tehyung wanted to help soobin fight against that bully but he believed the younger could survive a few seconds alone until he deletes that video or better yet, destroys that phone. Tae reached between the tiny gap trying to spread his fingers more but he failed to even touch the phone slightly. His movements stopped when he heard soobin scream. His head turned to look at the boy. Soobin was holding the side of his abdomen leaning against the wall next to the elongated open window. taehyung decided to leave the phone for a while and help soobin. Before he could even reach, soobin was attacking kangjoon. Blinded by fury and hatred kangjoon just took one step forward and pushed soobin's chest with all his might. Taehyung watched the seen unfold in slow motion, saw his hand reaching out but it was too far. Soobin was falling off the edge, out of the window. One sucked in a sharp breath and one yelled. But neither could reach in time.

"SOOBIN!!"
