the next morning rachel woke up to find jacob's crib was empty and sebastian wasnt next to her she looked at her clock it was ten past nine she felt exhausted as she got up had a quick shower then dressed in her sweats and headed downstairsl

" mommy is awake" sebastian said as she reached the bottom of the stairs jacob in his arms.

" where is my jacob" rachel said taking him from sebastian to cuddle him he was looking at her smiling making her smile too he was so adorable.

" thank you for last night" rachel said

" no need to thank me" sebastian said he was acting odd

" you ok" rachel asked

" yeah fine" sebastian said before walking up the stairs to his room rachel felt her tummy rumble so she headed to the kitchen.

she poured herself a coffee and grabbed a bagel from the bread bin before heading oyt into the garden to eat it. rachel was wearing another one of sebastian's  purchases a navy onsie with a large red j on it for jacob.

ten minutes later

" im going to yours soon puck is gonna help me get the last of your things " sebastian said appearing in the doorway

" thank you" rachel said

" my mom is meeting with her lawyer will you be alright on your own shall i call kurt" sebastian asked

" i will ring him " rachel said

" ok i best be going" sebastian said he walked towards her and bent and kissed jacob before walking back into the house.

rachel rang kurt who said he was on his way to see her anyway and that he wouldnt be long.

sebastian arrived at rachels house and let himself in using her key he went upstairs to her room and started placing some books into a book before pausing to look at her wall that she covered with photos of herself during performances. certificates were pinned up proudly of competitions she had won. the girl in the photos was of a very different rachel than she was now. these photos represented her life before it got complicated before she became a mom before she lost her dads. sebastian felt a pang of guilt as he looked at the happy smiling rachel on the wall one who had such high hopes for her future.

he turned and looked at the wall opposite which was covered with photos of jacob and her scan photos sebastian looked at them all surprised at how much jacob had actually grown since he was born.

(buszzing)

sebastian tuck his cell out of his pocket and saw puck had texted him saying he was at the house sebastian went down stairs to let him in.

a minute later both boys were back upstairs in her room sorting out the last of her things.

" thanks for helping" sebastian said to him

" no worries" puck said

sebastian set about taking down the photos and placing them carefully into a box pausing occasionally to look more closely at them.

" i know you know" puck said suddenly

" you know i know what" sebastian asked

" no i mean i know i mean i want you to know that i  know" puck said

" what are you talking about" sebastian asked

" the night you slept with rachel" puck said sebastian turned and looked in disbelief at puck

" what do you know about it" sebastian asked

" well i saw rach upset about finn and quinn and i hears kurt and blaine telling her about a party at dalton saying she should go. well i figured what with you guys been rich and all that you would have a load of booze i figured i would steal some have a party of my own" puck said

" charming " sebastian said relieved that puck wasnt talking about what had happened that night.

" so i decided to swing by get my hands on it only when i got there i spotted rach stood with her back against  one of the wood panelled walls in the warbler room then i saw you stood infront of her i figured you were giving her a hard time so i decided to crack your nuts. only as i got  closer i heard just what it was you were saying to her" puck said.

" oh" sebastian said feeling emotional

" yeah that was quite a speech you gave her  i gotta admit i am kinda confused as to why you guys are not together" puck said

" lets just sort her things out" sebastian said not wanting to talk about it

" what happened why are you not with her" puck asked sebastian felt tears prickling his eyes

" she doesnt remember " sebastian said

" wait what" puck asked

" i really dont want to talk about it" sebastian said

" what do you mean she doent remember " puck asked

" the morning after she woke up freaked out and practically ran out of the room" sebastian said

"that much have been rough why didnt you try talking to her" pucl asked

" she avoided me i was hurt and a little angry with her then she told me she was pregnant" sebastian said

" why haven't you told her since" puck asked

" she knows i love her" sebastian said

" she does" puck asked

" yeah i had a heated argument with finn and i ended up yelling it" sebastian said

" what did she say" puck asked

" she said she didnt know how she felt " sebastian said

" did you tell her about that night i mean what you told her that night" puck asked

" no" sebastian said

" why the hell not" puck demanded

" i was going to the night her dads died" sebastian said

" you have to tell her" puck said

" dont you think she has enough to be dealing with" sebastian said

" yeah which is why a boyfriend would be very useful " puck said

" its not as simple as that there is jacob what if she doesnt feel the same it might make things difficult between us we are living in the same house how awkward would that be jacob needs both of us to get along i cant tell her." sebastian said

" what if she does" puck asked

" what" sebastian asked

" what if rachel feels the same way about you and you dont tell her eh did you ever think about about that. i was in love with quinn when rach and i dated for a week. finn was forever going back and forth between the two of them and dont even get me started on that jesse bastard. she hasnt had much look with guys so Naturally she will be cautious you knocked her up.  you know she once told me how proud she was that i chose her to have on my arm like she couldnt believe i would like her. finn broke her nose during a boot camp dance class she wanted to have a nose job or in other words she wanted quinns nose. you see give her a song to sing she can own the room but other than that she isnt confident. she wouldnt tell you if she had feelings for you she would be to scared of rejection. so if you want to know if she does you have to tell her" puck said

" i dont want to spoil things we are getting on better" sebastian said

" look for now your safe she wont be thinking of relationships but in time she will. you live wih her can you imagine how you will feel if she turns up at the house with a boyfriend . " puck said

" dont i cant think about that" sebastian said feeling sick at the thought

" look you love her right" puck said

" yeah" sebastian said

" and she is going through hell right not is she not" puck asked

" yeah" sebastian said

" wouldnt you want her to know just what she means to you dont you think given what she has lost knowing she means so much to you might make her feel better make her feel loved" puck said

" i guess so" sebastian said

" so" puck said

" what" sebastian asked

" so what you stood here talking to me for go to her" puck said
