the next day puck was having a bbq and he had invited most of the warblers too h0has he had become good friends with sebastian and with hunter.

rachel was on edge as she knew finn would be there and after his outburst lat night she isnt looking forward to seeing him.

jacob is happily gurgling away in her arms as she makes her way through the garden gate to pucks back yard sebastian has gone to pick nick up as nicks car wont start today so he dropped her and jacob off.

" hey my favourite jew is here" puck said greeting her.

" hey" rachel said

" where is your baby daddy" puck asked smiling at her

" nick is having car trouble so seb has gone to pick him up. " rachel said.

" nick is he the one with the fit mom" puck asked

" i havent met his mom" rachel said

" anyway how is this little man doing" puck said taking jacob from her to give him a cuddle.

" he is in a lovely mood today" rachel said proudly

" ofcourse he is your son" puck said

" how is beth" rachel asked

" good quinn and i are getting along well i can see beth whenever i want and i thought i would be jealous but i like hunter he loves beth i can tell" puck said

" he does and he loves quinn" rachel said

" you know out of all the gitls i have kniwn and lets be honest that is a pretty large number there has only ever been two i have truly cared about not just romantically but simply wanting them to be ok. quinn is one and hunter makes her happier than she has ever been im happy for her she deserve it. the second one is you seeing you bein bullied and hurt broke my heart now i know things have changed for you but smythe makes you happy after everything you have been through i couldnt stand aside and see you with someone who didnt treat you right" puck said rachel was moved by his words.

" thank you and you know nobody has been more like a brother to me" rachel said

" yeah i guess you and i are like family which means you know you can always rely on me" puck said rachel hugged him.

" hey" sebastian said as he appeared with nick.

" hi" rachel said cuddling sebastian

" you alright" he asked

" yeah she is fine we just had a heart to heart" puck said

" oh" sebastian said

" yeah im like her big brother who happens have the finest guns in ohio" puck said handing jacpb back to her and flexing his arms.

" rach rach" kurt called out as he came running over to her with a smile on his face.

" kurt" rachel said as he reached her

" i have amazing news" kurt said

" what is it" rachel asked

" blaine and i are going camping" kurt said

" really never had you pegged as the camping sort your clothes will get mucky" sebastian said

" we want you to come rach you and jacob and i guess sebastian can come too" kurt said offended by sebastian's comment.

" when" rachel asked

" during the summer" kurt said

" sounds good" sebastian said

" great" kurt said

" rach" finn's voice said from behind rachel turbed to look at him sebastian turned and glared at him.

" dont try and ruin today for her" sebastian said

" im not i just want to talk"finn said

" thats up to her" sebastian said

" rach please just here me out im leaving a few days after graduation" finn said

" fine" rachel said handing jacob to sebastian.

rachel follwed finn into the house so they could have some privacy she felt awkward being around him especially after last night.

they entered the kitchen rachel stood with her arms folded infdont of her chest she prayed he wasnt going to be funny with her.

" rach i can't leave lima not knowing where i stand where we stand" finn said

" finn i..." rachel started to say

" im joining the army" finn said

" oh wow thats incredible finn" rachel said

" that day at your house when he said he loved you i said it too but you seem to have forgotton that " finn said

" i havent forgotton that" rachel said

" why him" finn said

" what" rachel asked

" why him we both said we loved you but you chose him is it because of jacob because i would be cool with helping you raise him.  i know i havent handled things well and i know i hurt you with quinn but i love you and i dont like how much he has changed your life" finn said

" i love him its not just because of jacob i love him he loves me he might not have always been the nicest guy in the world but he is nice to me more than nice. you have no right to judge him finn he makes me happy he has helped me through the hardest time of my life a time when i needed help and support a time when you were ingoring me" rachel said.

" i dont like you been angry with me" finn said

" for what its worth i dont like being angry with you" rachel said

" so your happy with him" finn said

" finn" rachel yelled

" i just want to know are you happy with him" finn said

" yes i am" rachel said

" but you still love me" finn said

" no" rachel said

" yes you do your rachel im finn you cant not love me i love you rach i always have and i always will" finn said

" im sorry finn i did love you but i have moved on you were the first guy to ever look at me to make me feel pretty and i wish we could be friends but if you cant accept that i have moved on then we cant be friends. im proud that your making something of yourself by joining the army i know how much that means to you. my future might not be the one i had imagined but it doesnt mean im not going to be happy. i love being a mom i love that my son needs me there was a time when i was pregnant that i wished that i wasnt but since the day i heard his heart beating inside me i knew nothing else but him mattered. sebastian might not be who people would think i would end up with but the fact is and im not saying this to upset you but im happier with him than i have ever been in a relationship. i hope someday you will be able to see that and be happy for me. i wish you good luck in your life finn i really do good luck with the army good bye finn" rachel said walking out of the room as she headed bavk into the garden everyone else arrived she saw sebastian watching her as she walked over to him.

" you ok" he asked he didnt look happy.

" yeah are you" rachel asked

" can we talk" sebastian said she nodded sebastian lead her over t the far side of the garden.

" seb" rachel said worried about what he was going to say.

" what happened with finn" sebastian asked

" we talked " rachel said

" are you leaving me" sebastian said rachel was floored by his question.

" what... no" rachel said

" so your not getting back with him" sebastian asked

" no how could you think i would do that" rachel said in disbelief

" rach this isnt just anybody we are talking about its finn" sebastian said

" so" rachel said getting upset

" he wants you back anybody can see that" sebastian said getting upset himself.

" so what if he does it doesnt mean i want him back i cant believe you would think i would after everything that has happened." rachel said

" im sorry i love you the tjought of him taking you from me..." sebastian started to say

" do you want to know what i said to him i told him i love you and you made me happier than he ever did" rachel said sebastian looked at her tesrs in his eyes but a smile on his face at her words.

" you said that to him" sebastian asked

"yes right before i said goodbye to him for good" rachel said

" so you dont reget being with me then" sebastian asked though he was smiling at her hs cocky glint was back in his eyes.

" no" rachel said cuddling him

" well i guess i can believe that" sebastian said

" shut up and kiss me" rachel said
