After she finished her shift they headed back to the loft and rachel saw kurt and santana swap glances.

"How was work...any problems" puck asked

"Work was ok um melissa turned up" rachel said

"Are you alright" blaine asked

" Yeah" Rachel said sitting down on the couch Sebastian sat next to her infact he sat so close their legs were touching something that hadnt escaped kurts notice,

Later that night when rachel was getting ready for bed she thought back to melissa and her saying Sebastian would never be hers. Rachel wasnt sure what was going on between her and Sebastian they hadnt put a label on it but she would be lying if she said she wasnt falling for him.

As rachel climbed into bed Sebastian was already laid in bed he was on her tablet computer looking at jobs advertisements.

" why dont you ask at the diner until you find something better" she asked

"I thought about doing that" he said putting the tablet on the nightstand and turning to face her he smiled at her and they both leaned in and started to kiss when...

" guys " blaine said walking into her room.

" blaine" rachel exclaimed kurt often just walked into her room but blaine didnt.

" puck went to a liquer store and when he came back he saw your dad making his way down the street towards the building" blaine said

" if he knocks just dont answer the door" rachel said

" no i will face him" Sebastian said getting out of bed.

"No dont" rachel said panicking.

" first melissa turns up at your work now he comes here again no rachel all this wouldnt have happened if i had stood up to hi in the first place" Sebastian said.

" having met him nothing would deter him seb" blaine said.

(Loud knocking )

"WHO THE HELL IS MAKING THAT NOISE" santana yelled

"I will go talk to him." Sebastian said and left the bedroom after getting dressed.

Sebastian

Sebastian walked to the door and opened it everyone but rachel and blaine were in the living room.

His dad seemed surprised that he himself had answered the door but soon recovered and now stood looking smug.

"I had a rather interesting chat with mel apparently you were on a date" his dad said

"So what if i was im not married or engaged" Sebastian said

" your a fool you have let some harlot bewitch you" charles said Sebastian snapped and charged at his dad slamming him against the wall.

" dont you ever call her that melissa is the harlot not her" Sebastian said

"Well aell it seems you have feelings for this girl maybe if she was taken out of the equation you might see sense"charles said

"Whats that supposed to mean are you thretening her" Sebastian yelled he sensed puck move behind him.

" nobody tbreatens my jewish princess and gets away with it" puck said

"Im a state attorney so actually i would" charles said smugly.

"Oh i aint talking about legally you first rate douche i mean if you hurt her your dead" puck said

"Ooh better watch out seb looks like he wants her too" charles said

" rachel is like my sister and i protect my family unlike you.. you know my dad is a deadbeat and i thought he was the worst kind of father but sebby here would be better off without you" puck said.

" you will leave her alone" Sebastian said

" if you come home i will do" charles said

" you know mr smythe people think im a dumb guy like i use my fists because im not so great at the thinking but their wrong. I have been recording this conversation i got you on tape threatening rachel so good look getting out of that one mr smythe" puck said

" you know Sebastian you could put an end to all this by manning up and accepting that you need to marry melissa" charles said.

"You know what dad if you love her so much why dont you marry her" Sebastian said charles glared at him and walked towards the elevator.

Sebastian turned around puck patted his back and they both walked back inside the loft Sebastian saw a neevous looking rachel clearly she had heard his dad threatening her. He walked over to her and pulled her into a cuddle thankfully everyone even kurt seemed to realise they needed privacy and left them alone.

When he had come to new york Sebastian thought he wouldnt feel as strongly about anything than does about not marrying melissa. However he was falling for rachel falling hard and he would do anything to make sure she is safe.

" you heard" he asked as he held her to him.

" yes" she said

" i wont let him hurt you" he said

"I know you wont" she said giving him a small smile.

The next morning

After a fitful nights sleep rachel was exhausted she wasnt worried about mr smythe hurting her she was worried about what Sebastian and noah might do to protect her.

Sebastian insisted on escorting her blaine and kurt to nyada incase they were subjected to an unwelcomed visit.

As they reached nyada kurt and blaine went inside Sebastian pulled rachel to him and smiled at her tgey shared a kiss before she left him stood there watching her walk inside.

She made her way to her first classroom which was with carmen tibaduex kurt was in that class too and had saved her a seat next to him.

As she was walking to her seat she heard carmen say her name so she stopped and looked at her.

" morning" rachel said as carmen rarely spoke casually to students.

" miss berry why are you here" carmen asked

" i dont understand" rachel said

" your placement here at nyada has been cancelled" carmen said rachel couldnt belive it butbit didnt take long to figure out who was behind it
