rachel followed sebastian to the couch where he now sat crying rachel didnt know what to do as it was sebastian flung himself into her arms and sobbed rachel held him wondering what had got him so upset.

" maybe if you tell me i can help" rachel said

" no one can help me" sebastian said

" you dont know until you tell me" rachel said sebastian sat up and looked at her for a moment.

" im not gay" he said rachel was stunned.

" ok" she said

" im bi" sebastian said

" ok" she said when i was fifteen my dad found out i liked guys abd he just kind of pretended he didn't know. then i met a girl nothing happened between us not really anyway she was at a college at the other side of the country so it was over before it began. then my dad found out that i like women too well that was it next thing i knew my parents best friends were dining with us with their daughter. my dad started hinting i should date her but i cant stand her. i went to a gay bar and i was talking to this guy next thing i knew my dad was infront of me he dragged me out to his car. once we were home he told me i was going to marry melissa thats their friends daughter and that he and her dad and already sorted it all out. where we would live they had already wrote the engagement notice for the westerville newsletter." sebastian said

" your dad is forcing you to get married " rachel said in disbelief.

" yep" sebastian said crying.

" i dont know what to say... has the date been set" rachel asked

"yeah its today " sebastian said

" oh" rachel said she was still trying to process what he had told her.

" thats why i came here i hadto get away from it... the reason i resented the new directions was you guys never realised the freedom you gad i might have had a privileged upbringing but my life has never been my own not really. dont take this the wrong way but i know my dad will be looking for me and a loft in bushwick is the last plce he would expect me to be" sebastian said

" he cant do that he cant make you marry someone you dont love" rachel said

" you havent net my dad" sebastian said

" the only thing that matters is you got away you can stay here aslong as you want" rachel asked

" thank you " sebastian said and he hugged her.

" does anyone know your here" rachel asked

" thad he will let me know if my dad comes to new york" sebastian said

" wht about your mom" rachel asked

" she told me to marry her so that my dad wouldnt get mad she is weak she wont stand up to him" sebastian said

" i wont tell kurt and blaine " rachel said

" i just had to get out of there i was in my room pacing i packed  my bags and went around westerville to atms to get cash so i wouldnt have to use my credit card as i knew he would and could trace me if i did. i bought a tucket and came to new york and you know the rest i looked for you guys and i found you." sebastian said

" i wanted you to tell me so i could help you but i dont know what to say" rachel said

" you have helped me you dont know how just telling you as helped me" sebastian said

" your exhausted why dont you go have a nap " rachel said.

" i didnt think it through i just thought coming here i would  be free but im not i had to leave college because he would turn up i dont kniw what im going to do. " sebastian said

" i know its hard and that part i can relate too i am assuming you know of my tv show the biggest flop ever. well i lost nyada and broadway and i felt lost at first but you know what i also felt free" rachel said

" free" he said

" yeah all my life i gave had a plan and i think i got into the routibe of living for the pkan tbat i wsnt actually living. i think i needed that hurdle to make me see clearly and be sure it was what i really wanted. this is a difficult tine for you but now your life is in your hands you can do what you want. mind you i akways thought you did" rachel said he smiled.

" yeah looks can be deceiving " sebastian said

" its the age old saying isnt it never judge a book by its cover we never know whats going on in people's lives." rachel said

" i feel better been here" sebastian said

" good now go have a nap your exhausted " rachel said sebastian nodded and got up and headed to her room.

rachel hated herself there he was his life in turmoil and all she could think now was the moment in the elevator when he had stared at her lips had he thought about kissing her. she scolded herself and set about putting the groceries away.
