Oh My God!! She updated early.. Why???

I have two reasons actually. First, I became sick and couldn't prepare for my exam. I even went to watch 'Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation' when I should be studying or relaxing.. There's always a next time, right? :p :p

And the second reason, you will know it at the end ;) ;)

"Ta-da" Sindhu exclaimed with excitement, showing a DVD to Karthik and Tulasi who were sitting on the couch in their living.

"What is it?" Tulasi asked with an amused smile.

"DVD of a Korean film called First Love" she replied excitedly.

/*It is a Thai film actually. But people at my place think every foreign film that's not English is Korean*/

"Really? I heard Korean films are really good. How did you get it?" Tulasi asked in awe.

"From my aunt's place. It's in my cousins DVD collection"

"Good. Let's watch it then" Tulasi said while Sindhu placed it in the DVD player.

"Are you sure we should watch that?" Karthik asked glumly.

"It's a great film. You will love it" Sindhu promised.

"I won't understand the language"

"That's why there will be subtitles" Tulasi intervened.

He groaned "Fine. Whatever"

Tulasi distanced herself away from Karthik so that Sindhu will be sitting between them; more importantly, close to him.

"And, here it comes" Sindhu announced, occupying the seat between them while Karthik wrapped an arm around her waist.

She scooted close to him and he smiled seeing her eyes glued to the screen with excitement.

When the film started, she suddenly got up and strolled to the bed room. Karthik was amused seeing a pack of paper napkins in her hand when she returned.

'First Love' is a film about how a dorky teenage girl tries to gain the attention of her senior who, she is madly in love with. The girl changes herself for him and tries be to better at everything.

Half way through the film, Sindhu left the living to make popcorn for them.

"Are you enjoying the film?" Tulasi mumbled slowly, her eyes still on the screen.

"Surprisingly, yes though it's a bit slow" Karthik replied.

She nodded and soon Sindhu came back with popcorn for them as they continued watching the film.

Their silence was broken when the lead girl confesses her love to the hero who rejects her making Tulasi cry abruptly.

"Take this" Sindhu said, giving a pad of tissues to her while looking at her sadly.

"Thank you" She croaked, patting her eyes with it "How could he do that to her?"

"The film is not over yet" Sindhu replied in an encouraging tone though she looked like she's about to cry any second now.

Karthik wanted to laugh at the drama happening beside him but stayed calm knowing the girls are at advantage in the situation; they are two in number while he is alone. They can do anything to him if he gave some nasty comment.

The film continued showing that the hero has always loved the girl but could never confess given the circumstances between them.

"He loves her" Tulasi exclaimed in happiness making Karthik chuckle.

"Yes, he does" Sindhu replied with a smile.

"But he is not going to confess" Tulasi added sadly.

Sindhu nodded with a frown watching the movie when the climax unveils with the leads uniting after so many years where they are successful in their respective careers.

"That's it. No hugging or kissing?" Tulasi questioned, looking shocked at the end titles.

"I thought the same thing when I watched the first time" Sindhu replied with a grimace looking at the screen.

Karthik looked at the two of them with an amused smile "What's it to the two of you? They had a happy ending. Isn't it enough?"

"No. I want to know what happens after that" Tulasi declared, looking stubborn.

"They will get married and have babies. Isn't that what happens all the time?" He explained.

"May be. But he didn't confess to her once directly that he loves her"

"Not all love stories are alike Tulasi.. She knows the truth and that's what all matters"

"But I want---"

"Shut up, you two" Sindhu started irritated "There's no use with your arguments about the perfect ending. It's done and we can't change anything about it"

"You are right" She grouched before her eyes lit up with a dreamy smile "But, the hero.. He is awesome, isn't he? So cute"

Sindhu grinned, imitating Tulasi's expression "Yeah. The first time I saw him, I thought he looked like a chocolate that I so wanted to ea----"

She stopped seeing Karthik's amused smile who slowly said "Please continue. I really want to hear what you wanted to do with him"

A blush touched her cheeks as she replied "Nothing"

"I think I heard something like Eat"

"I am not a cannibal to eat a human being however yummy he might have looked" She quickly closed her mouth while Tulasi and Karthik burst into laughter.

"You wanted to eat him?" Tulasi mumbled out, between her fits of laughter.

She blushed "I—I didn't me—I don't--"

When they continued laughing at her expense, she closed her face in mortification. It's not her mistake if that guy looked like a milk chocolate.

"It's ok. We won't judge you based on that" Karthik said dramatically, after a while trying to hide his amusement.

Sindhu groaned hiding her face in Tulasi's shoulder "Look what he is saying"

She chuckled "Stop embarrassing her Karthik"

He raised his hands in defense with a smile when Sindhu pulled herself back from Tulasi.

"Shall we watch another movie then?" Karthik asked excitedly before turning to Sindhu with a mischievous smile "One that doesn't have Chocolate boys"

"Karthik!!!" She groaned at his teasing.

"I should have observed during the film" He started with a smile "May be you were drooling seeing him"

"I wasn't" she complained, looking at him with a scowl.

"Somehow that's tough to believe" He smirked making Tulasi chuckle.

"Ok guys. Let's stop fighting about the film" Tulasi announced, turning to Sindhu "What do you think about another film? Are you up for it?"

Sindhu nodded making the two of them follow her.

"Another Korean film?" Karthik asked sarcastically making Sindhu glare at him.

"How about P S I Love You?" Sindhu questioned with a smirk making him lose his smile.

Luckily, Tulasi brushed it off "No please. I don't have the strength to cry again. Especially with my pregnancy hormones"

"You know what? We should see Tangled" Sindhu added with a bright smile to which the two of them nodded.

"Is the lead guy cute in this movie too?" Karthik whispered in her ear when Sindhu sat beside him after the movie began.

She tried to glare at him but ended up smiling "Yeah.. You know what, he is more than cute. He is witty and cool"

Karthik looked at her with a grin "I have to agree that you have good taste in men"

A blush stole her face as she realized that he implied himself "Yeah, that I do"

"Sindhu? Why are you still awake?" Tulasi asked her who was sitting on the couch watching TV when it's around 11 PM.

"Karthik isn't home" She replied, feeling extremely sleepy.

"Did you call him?"

"Yes. He said something about project deadlines" She replied with a yawn.

After Tulasi left to her room, Sindhu lied down on the couch unable to sit any longer. Her eyes closed eventually and she drifted into sleep not bothering to switch off TV.

When Karthik returned home at 12 AM, he was surprised to see the lights and TV on, with Sindhu sleeping peacefully on the couch.

He chuckled seeing her position and put his hands around her body to lift her up when she opened her eyes "You came?"

"Yes. I am sorry for being late"

"That's ok" she replied, getting up to sit "I was watching TV anyway"

He took the remote and switched off the TV before turning to her "Go to sleep"

"You won't have dinner?"

He shook his head with a guilty smile "It's very late. I don't feel like---"

"I will bring milk then" she said, getting up.

He caught her wrist before she left "I will do that. You go to sleep"

"It's ok" she replied casually "I will sleep after doing this. You change clothes"

He got up from the couch, facing her and took her into his arms "Thank you"

"Um, it's ok. I am free whole day anyway" she said shyly.

He pulled back with a smile "I still want to thank you"

"You are welcome then" she smiled back.

"Now go change your clothes" she ordered before heading to the kitchen.

After Karthik had milk, both of them laid down on the mattress, looking up at the ceiling lost in thoughts, instead of sleeping.

"Aren't you feeling tired?" Sindhu asked slowly.

"I am but I don't feel like sleeping"

"Is it about your project?"

"Yes. It has to be delivered to the client in a month and I am terrified of the outcome"

"Why? What happened?" she asked, turning her attention to him.

"I don't know. My team members are making false excuses about anything I ask and I am scared if we will be able to deliver it in a month"

"You still have a month. Anything can happen in this month. May be you can even tell your team that the person working his best will get the highest CRR rating"

He smiled "There's no such thing as CRR in my company. Remember it's not an MNC"

"Oh. But, you can always blackmail to fire them if they don't do as told"

"I am not the boss" he replied with a grin.

"Then what will you do?" she asked, her lips forming a frown.

"I will think about it tomorrow. Let's forget everything and sleep now"

When she nodded, he pulled her close to him and kissed her forehead "Good night"

"Good night" she replied, closing her eyes.

The next morning, Sindhu was surprised to see Tulasi in a dull mood not paying attention to what Karthik was saying about walk in interviews.

"Tulasi. What happened?" She asked seriously, placing Karthik's lunch bag on the teepoy.

"What are you saying?" Tulasi asked dully.

"I know something happened. Now tell me" She almost ordered.

She sighed "I—I don't know what to say. I—My husband—I think he is getting married again"

Sindhu gasped, placing a hand on her mouth "What do you mean? How can he?"

"It's illegal" Karthik added making Sindhu punch him in the shoulder.

"What?" he asked, rubbing the spot she hit.

"Is it ok if it's not?"

"I didn't mean it that way" he said, embarrassed by his answer.

"When did you know this?" Sindhu asked slowly.

"My dad called yesterday evening. He said my mother in law is telling everyone around to find potential matches for her son"

"Shit. What are you going to do now?"

"I don't know" Her voice almost sounded broken.

"Hey.." Sindhu started compassionately "He is not married yet. You still have a chance to win him back"

"I don't know what to do"

"Fight for him" She said determinedly "You said you love him right? Are you going to leave him like that? Don't forget that you are not just a wife but also a mother now. Don't you think she needs her father?"

"She?" Tulasi enquired with a smile, while her eyes held tears.

"You are going to have a beautiful baby girl. You have two reasons to fight now"

"But his mother-----" Tulasi started slowly but was cut off by Sindhu "You have to save another girl from the clutches of your evil mother in law; don't you think?"

"Sindhu is right" Karthik interfered "You can't let her ruin your life and that of another girl. You should fight for him even if it means taking the help of cops"

"I don't know. Our family's reputation will be ruined if I did that"

"Then warn them that you will go to cops if they go ahead with his marriage" He suggested "That way, there will be a temporary break to their plans"

"It still won't solve her problem. Something has to be done to change her husband" Sindhu added thoughtfully.

"Which is impossible" Tulasi chided bitterly.

"Let's take one step at a time" Karthik interfered sensing the change of mood "First, you will have to put a break to his marriage plans. Then, we can figure out what to do"

"I guess I will have to leave for Vizag then" Tulasi said determinedly, though her mind shivered at the endless possibilities.

By the way, have you watched 'First Love'? It is one nice movie. I hate white color chocolates but I still loved the lead guy in the film.. His cheeks look like chocolates that you feel like lic------ Ok, I am not going to say that because it is so gross....
