Part 10

At this point this is for my own personal gain and entertainment.

Quick change, the main character's name is going to be Elliot! I'll probably make some name changes to other things later on, but for now, this'll do.

Dallon starred in the direction the teen went, horrified at his own actions. He was concerned, yes, but that wasn't an excuse. He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath. He didn't want to bother Brendon, but he knew that he would get upset if he wasn't told. He quickly took his phone out and opened up his messages, clicking on the one between him and his husband.

"Everything's ok, but I upset Em

Talking to her now"

After he made sure the text was sent, he slipped his phone into his back pocket and began to make his way up the stairs, only to see that their door was shut. He held his composure, and slowly raised his hand to knock.

"Hey kid, I'm sorry... Can I come in? I'd like to talk about it."

"Okay..." Dallon heard the teen's small voice, and slowly pushed the door open after twisting the handle. The teen was sitting on their bed, their back facing the door. Dallon slowly walked over and hesitantly sat down behind him, on the bed.

"I'm really sorry... I didn't mean to pressure you that much. I'm just concerned, although that doesn't stand as an excuse." While he waited for a response, he heard the teen sniffle. He sighed softly, his eyebrows furrowed upwards in sympathy.

"Can I touch you?" He nearly whispered, not wanting to pressure the kid any more. The teen slowly nodded, and so he reached his hand forward, beginning to rub the smaller's back.

"Oh, I'm so sorry hon..." He sighed, slouching forward. The teen covered his face with both of his hands, letting out a scared sob-

"I'm t-trans." His whole body shook as he let out another sob, his cries becoming consistent. The adult's eyes widened slightly, his hand pausing its movements as his body tensed. The teen felt this, and let out a louder cry, hunching into himself.

"O-okay..." He hesitated before speaking again. "Thank you for telling me, can I hug you?" He asked softly, continuing his hand movements, trying his best to soothe the teen. The younger didn't say anything, and instead turned around quickly and threw his arms around him. He gripped the back of his shirt, forming tight fists as he let out another aching cry. He closed his eyes tightly, letting the tears stream down his red cheeks. Dallon could only sigh, and carefully pulled the boy closer, resting his chin on top of his head. He would never lie, he was thankful that the younger had told him of his identity. He wasn't upset about it at all. God, he could never. Anxious thoughts began to fill his head, thoughts about the pain the teen would go through throughout his life. He thought he went through it, and although he could, he couldn't imagine what the other had to go through.

"It's okay... Oh... It'll be alright." He let his eyes fall shut, his tight tightening on the other.

"I'm so s-sorry!" Elliot cried out. "I couldn't tell you, I just-" He inhaled quickly, sniffling before exhaling once more.

"Don't try to explain yourself, try to take some deep breaths... Follow my breathing, okay?" Dallon inhaled through his mouth, before slowly exhaling through his nose. He felt the younger attempt to imitate it, before speaking again.

"I'm so s-so sorry..." He whimpered, taking, or attempting, to breath deeply. It was interrupted by a sad cry, although it had lessened already. "I-i'm too much, you didn't b-bargain for this..." He trailed off.

"Oh don't say that hon... We didn't bargain for anything, we-"

"I was awful at the airport!" He cried out, his breathing beginning to speed up again. "I-i just-" He hesitated, before continuing, his eyes closing tighter as to keep himself from witnessing Dallon's reaction. "Y-you're you! I-i have all of your CD's, I-"

"I get it, I do... It's a lot to take in. We understand." Dallon cut the smaller off, understanding what he was about to say. "Focus on your breathing again, okay?" The two began to work through Elliot's cries, bringing him back down.

After quite some time, Elliot was now just sniffling. Dallon kept rubbing his back, and at some point, began to rock them. The teen's breathing had calmed, and his eyes were resting peacefully.

"Hey bud, what's your name?" He asked softly, watching as the smaller shifted and began to sit up. He rubbed his red eyes with his hands, wiping his nose on his shoulder.

"Elliot."
