Y/n's pov

Hat kid led me into dead bird studio, where upon arrival we see two birds fighting. One was a penguin that had an Afro with two symmetrical blonde spots on the side. The penguin was wearing a red suit top, incredibly high wedged shoes, star shaped sunglasses, and had a microphone in his hand. The other bird, however, didn't really look like a bird. He had yellow feathers, and had a head that looked like a dragon. He wore a black conductors outfit with a purple tie, he even had a black hat with a visor. The two birds seemed to be at each other's throats. Hat kid cleared her throat and both of them seemed to stop what they were doing and turn to hat kid. The yellow bird said "hat lass?" Followed by the penguin saying "darling?" There was a moment of silence, before both birds were suddenly engulfing hat kid in a hug. Hat kid returned the hug, but the yellow bird broke the hug before saying "what brings you back here lassie? Did you lose those thingamajigs of yours again?" Hat kid shook her head no, and gestured to me before saying "nope, I'm here with a friend. Meet hood kid. Hoodie, meet the conductor, and DJ Grooves" Hat kid gestured to the yellow bird, who is known as the conductor, and the penguin as DJ Grooves. I waved at them and said "nice to meet you". DJ Grooves then asked hat kid "darling, do you think you can help us?" The conductor said "none of us can come up with a good movie plot for our next movie". Hat kid said "I think I know who can help you" and then turned to me. It was true, I was very good at coming up with interesting story plots, but I had to have an idea of what aim going for. The conductor and DJ Grooves looked at me expectantly. I got increasingly nervous and looked around, seeing western movie posters on the conductors side, and alien movies on DJ Grooves' side. Western, and aliens... aha! I've got it. My face lit up and I said "ok, I have an idea, but you two are gonna have to work together". The conductor and DJ Grooves stared at each other, before nodded and motioned me to continue. I said "ok, so here's what I'm thinking. A family owns a restaurant in the Wild West, waiting tables and serving patrons by day, and stopping bar fights by night. Eventually, however, patrons stop returning to their restaurant, and they're forced to move out into the farm lands. The entire family thought it would be boring, but just as they were about to go to sleep, a crash was heard in their field. Everyone hears it and goes outside to see a spaceship lodged in the ground. Just then, a hatch opens and a bunch of aliens pop out. They accidentally ran into a meteor and landed on earth. Anyway, since they're trapped until they can fix their ship, they end up staying with the family, and as the family learns more about the aliens, the aliens also learn more about the family, and how their species generally is. The aliens learn things like games, common etiquette, and how to behave. And the family learns about the aliens home, and what life is like on their planet. This is built as a comedy, cause there's bound to be funny moments, like when the aliens figure out what a piano is, and one of the family members has to intervene and show them how to use it properly". DJ Grooves and the conductor seem to be daydreaming about the end result. The conductor snaps out of his trance and says "lassie, yer a bloody genius". Hat kid said "told you", with a smug look on her face. I blushed a bit at all of the attention I was getting, but they both seemed happy, and that's all that mattered. Anyway, hat kid and I watched at the birds went through one of the doors, probably off working on the movie I suggested. Anyway, hat kid and I left, and went back to our spaceships. Hat kid and I ended up playing corgi quest, which is a game about a corgi who is trying to find its way home. We were about 3 hours into the game when hat kids intruder alert went off. We were playing in my ship, so we both ran to hat kids ship and looked around. Nothing was wrong in the main room, but when I checked the kitchen, I found cooking cat in front of the oven. I yelled "hat kid, I found them". Hat kid ran in to the kitchen and saw cooking cat in front of the stove. Just then, my stomach rumbled. Hat kid looked at me and said "looks like someone is hungry". I grab my arm and looked down and to the side a bit. Hat kid went up to cooking cat, and cooking cat said "I'm sure you two have never hand earth food before have you? Don't worry, cooking cat is hear. Tell me, do you have any recommendations?" Hat kid looked to me for an answer. I put my arms up in the "I don't know" position ( ¯\ _(ツ)_/¯ ) and said "pasta and cheese?" Cooking cat nodded and grabbed a box of pasta she brought, and got to work on food. Cooking cat said "I would be done in a few minutes". Hat kid and I then left the kitchen, and hat kid seemed to have an idea. Her face lit up, she turned to me, and said "ooh, I bet you'll love subcon forest". I paused, trying to remember when she mentioned that place. Hat kid said "the place where snatcher lives", to which my face lit up in recognition. I said "oh yeah. Sure I'll go there, but after food". Hat kid nodded and said "oh, and I should probably warn you about snatcher and Vanessa. Snatcher will most likely try to steal your soul and make you do chores for him, and Vanessa will try to kill you if you enter her manor. Plus she has these statues all over subcon that chase you if you stay near them for too long". I shuddered at the thought of moving statues, but I quickly removed the thought from my mind. Hat kid and I played hide and seek with each other until cooking cat was done with the food. Cooking cat introduced us to Mac n cheese, and I'll be honest, I think it's my new favorite food.
