Twenty-Seven

I slowly woke up. I look around. My wounds were bandaged, but where the heck was I? No one I knew was in sight. I looked around. I was at the river. Tree branches tied around me like a python. There was strong winds and snow everywhere. I see her bathing int the river.

"Good morning." She said.

"I don't think this qualifies." I say.

"It's good for me." She smiles.

A tablet rose from the water. I don't know what that is, but it can't be good. I struggled. Nope, these are as hard as iron. No way I could break out. Even worse, I'm out of power. If I use my power, I'd kill myself, plus I can't move my hands. Just my legs, and I can barely move them. It was cold, colder than it ever was. I don't have a shirt on, just bandages. It's freezing.

"I hope the others get to me soon." I mutter.

"They won't. You will die." She smiled.

She punches me in the face hard. I cough up blood. I glared at her.

"You're pain and mine will be over soon." She smiled.
