~A few days later...

~Aqua's POV~

I was in the lobby one day, singing songs to my mystery egg. My ears perked up when I heard footsteps approaching me. I turned my head around to see that it was Rachel.

"Hey sis. How's the little egg?" she asked me.

"Oh, hey Rachel. It's doing fine. It started to move every time I start singing or talking to it." I rubbed it. "Hey little one, I can't wait for you to come out of there."

She giggled softly. "It'll hatch any day now."

"Babe look at Alucard!" Lucifer said.

Rachel and I both turned our heads around. We both saw Alucard and he was crawling on the floor, backwards.

I giggled. "Beep. Beep. Beep."

Rachel laughed. "That's my boy."

Seeing Alucard growing up was fun. But after seeing him and Rachel, my ears drooped down. I had to talk to her about that special topic. "Umm hey sis..? Can I tell you something?"

"Sure. What is it?" she looked at me.

"Well, I wanna tell you about how I'm feeling towards you and your boys. If that's okay." I said as I hugged the egg. I was a nervous train wreck.

"I'm here sis. I'm here to listen. But why isn't your Husky here to talk with you about it?"

"He... He wouldn't understand. Plus I'm pretty sure that he'll say no to what I'm about to say."

"Okay. So what is it?"

"What's... What's it like being a mom?" I blushed a lot.

"Oh? Well, being a mom isn't easy. But it's also a joyful thing."

"Really?"

"Yeah. What's this about?"

"Well, you see... I've been very jealous of you. And your life. You ended up with not just 1 but 2 perfect men in your life. And then you had Alucard. And to tie it all up, you're gonna get hitched soon."

"Well, I didn't expect life to give me 2 men or a baby boy. And now, Lucifer wants another child."

The way she said it made me a little moody. "Ugh, now you're just rubbing it in my face." I looked down and sighed. "I'm sorry sis. I didn't mean to say it like that."

"It's okay."

"It's just that, well I wished Husky would understand what I'd really want from him. But you know him."

"Yes I do. I've also noticed that you're not always with him like that now."

"He's been busy lately with the bar."

"And that's okay. But you weren't the only one that was jealous."

"Hmm?" I looked at her. "What do you mean?"

"I was actually really jealous of you too."

"Since when?"

"Since the very beginning. You became friends with Angel so fast, I didn't have any friends to start off with. And then when you were just getting along with the grumpy cat... I was really jealous."

"Really? Because of how quickly I got along with them? Well, it wasn't easy in the beginning since they were boys. For Angel, I was easily comfortable with him. But Husky was a bit of a challenge to me."

"You 3 were like peas in a pod and I was practically by myself..." she looked down.

"Sis. We became good friends too in the beginning." I laid my paw on hers. "When it was the first E-Day. Even though you almost tried to kill me that day." I laughed nervously.

"In which I am still sorry about."

"And I still forgive you. Look where we are now. But yeah, I was still jealous when you found love first."

"I didn't expect it. And I didn't actually do anything at all. He did." Rachel pointed at Alastor.

"What did I do?" Alastor said as he was looking at us.

I laughed at his reaction. "Nothing Alastor."

"And since he's been with me, he's gotten soft on me." Rachel said.

"Okay. I guess that makes sense. But overall, I should be glad that Alastor and Lucifer are gonna take good care of you. And Alucard too."

"Well, they both do get on my nerves sometimes. And that's why I like to sneak out of the hotel." she giggled softly.

"You mean almost 3 weeks ago? We snuck out for a drink and then woke up with tattoos?"

"Wait what?"

"Yeah. I remember perfectly. We were drunk that night and we got inked that same night." I laughed. "Husky saw them on my sides, but he really likes them."

"Well damn. I was really wasted then huh?"

"Yeah. You had a hangover so that's why you couldn't remember anything."

"Yeah. I had to ask your Husky to make me a special drink so it can be cured."

"Trust me. When I came home that night, he smelled me from head to tail. He told me to stay in bed so I don't fall down the new stairs. Again. The first time was the first hangover. And the second time was with the cone of shame."

She laughed. "It was really funny the way that you had to wear it."

"Ugh." I blushed.

"It was a lucky thing that I didn't have the chance to wear it."

"Ugh! I was really embarrassed that day. Please don't remind me of that day. I was a bad bitch back then." I blushed more. "Was I really that bad?"

"Not too bad."

"I wore that stupid cone so I wouldn't hurt you guys."

"And you didn't. You weren't yourself back then. But it's okay now, the past is now behind you." she rubbed my back.

"Yeah. You're right. But at least I don't feel angry like that anymore thanks to E-Day."

"Now that day was a really crazy one."

"Yes it was. But I was thankful that we've all worked together to overcome the biggest obstacle ever. We defended our hotel, the angels fled, and you've earned your wings."

"Hehe yeah." she smiled. "And I'm glad I did. Now I can fly again thanks to the love deep within me."

"And I'm glad that everything's worked out with you."

"Thanks little sis."

"You're welcome big sis."

"You feeling better now that you've gotten everything out of your chest?"

"Yeah. Much better. I'll just tell Husky how I'm truly feeling about us having a family."

"I think that's a good idea."

"Thanks for listening to me sis. You're the best." I wagged my tail and licked her cheek in a wolf affectionate way.

"I try to be." she laughed.

I laughed too. "You're not even trying."

"Honey! Alucard is teething on the chairs again!" Lucifer said.

"Oh boy. Here we go." Rachel said as she got up. "I'll go get the bourbon! See ya later sis." Rachel said as she left.

As I watched her leave, I looked back at my mystery egg. "Well little egg, we'll just see what the future will hold for us." I said to it as I rubbed it, then I started singing to it again.

Hopefully things will clear up once I tell Husky of what I truly desire.
