~The next day...

I was sitting on the ledge of the dragon statue outside of the hotel. Bubbles was sitting by me as we were both taking in the fresh Hell air. I looked back to see that GunPowder was doing his job and that was to be the security guard he was meant to be.

I waved to him. "Hi GP!"

He chuckled and waved back. "Hey big mama. Just let me know when you're ready to come back inside."

"I will." I said as I watched Bubbles frolicking in the dragon fountain. "Having fun darling?"

"Roo!" she squeaked.

I smiled and looked back up at the red endless sky. "What a beautiful red day here in Hell." I said to myself. Just then, my ears picked up a sound and I looked back up.

I saw a light shining and I covered my eyes. Then I heard a thud. I uncovered my eyes and looked at the ground. I gasped to see a body right in front of me.

"Oh my. That was unexpected." I said and got up to take a closer look. I got on my knees and turned the body around. It was a girl.

"Roo?" Bubbles came up to me.

"Hey. Are you okay?" I patted her cheek.

"Mmm..." she moaned and then she coughed.

"Hey, wake up." I shook her. "Oh dear, Bubbles spray her gently." I told her.

"Roo." she nodded and gently sprayed water on the girl's face.

"Huh?" she opened her eyes and they were purple. "Huh?"

"Hey, you're awake. Take it easy." I said as I helped her sit up.

"What happened..?" she held her head in place.

"You appeared here in Hell. You're a new sinner."

"Sinner..?" she asked me.

"Yeah. Don't move, Bubbles go get GunPowder and Charlie." I told my dragon.

"Roo!" she squeaked and ran towards the hotel.

"Don't worry. We're gonna take good care of you." I told the girl.

"Man... I had too many drugs... What kind of dream I'm having?" she asked.

"Umm... this isn't a dream. We're in Hell, in real life."

"Aqua! Are you okay?!" Charlie ran over to me with GunPowder and Bubbles following behind.

"Yeah. She just arrived her as a new sinner. I think she might've hit her head. Think she might be in shock." I told her.

"Oh dear. GunPowder, help her out." Charlie told GP.

"Okay." he said as he picked up the girl in his arms. "Oh wow. She feels cold."

"I'll go inside and get some blankets." Charlie said as she rushed back inside the hotel.

"Let's bring her back inside." I said.

I went inside while GP was holding the girl. After we came inside, GP puts her down on the lobby couch. I went to the bar and tapped Husky on his shoulder.

"Husky, I need a fizzy pill and some water." I told him.

"Okay babe." Husky said as he was getting one prepared.

I looked back to see that GP and Charlie were helping the new sinner girl get settled into the lobby couch.

"Here love." Husky gave me the pill and a cup of water.

"Thanks honey."

"What happened?"

"I was outside and this sinner girl just arrived in front of me. So I called for help."

"Are you okay?" he asked as he rubbed my tummy. "Are the kits okay?"

"Yeah. We're okay." I said as I walked to the couch. "Here. Take this." I spoke to the girl as I put the fizzy pill in the water and gave it to her.

"Thanks." she said as she was drinking it.

Husky came over. "What the hell? She looks like a kid."

"The poor girl... I wonder what happened to her?" Charlie asked.

"She said something about drugs while I was outside." I said. "Think she overdosed herself?"

"At her age? Man, poor kid." Husky shook his head.

"And she was cold when GP first touched her."

"Well, she can stay here for now. Aqua, I think you should handle this." Charlie suggested.

"No worries. I'll take care of her." I nodded.

"Okay." she said as she was leaving.

"So uhh..." the girl started. "What kind of dream I'm having?"

"I think she thinks that she's dreaming." Husky said.

"She's completely out of it." I sat next to her. "Let's start with your name. Who are you?"

"I'm Akira." she said.

"Hi Akira. How old are you?"

"I'm 20."

"What?! She's a kid!" Husky gasped.

"Husky, calm down. She was close to grown up age." I turned back to her. "Akira, this isn't a dream."

"Then where am I?"

"You're in Hell."

"Hell? Hell??"

"As in... the underworld."

She gasped and then she screamed. "Ahh!!!"

"Ah!" I covered my ears.

"She's so loud!" Husky also covered his ears.

"It's okay! It's okay! Calm down!" I held Akira's hands and rubbed them. "It's okay. No one is going to hurt you here."

"The hell..." Akira hugged herself. "The hell... the hell..." she repeated herself.

"Baby, let's step over there." I said to Husky.

"Okay." he said and brought me to the other couch.

"The poor darling. It's very unbelievable to her."

"She overdosed herself at 20 years old. Man, that's really upsetting. And she's a kid."

"We were all kids once love. And right now, she needs my help. She arrived here scared and confused. I know what that's like when I first arrived here."

"Well, if you think that you can do it... then I know that you can do it too." he held my paws.

"Thanks honey."

"I'll tell Rachel to make her something to eat."

"Okay baby." I said as I kissed his cheek.

"That's my girl." he said as he got up and went to the kitchen.

I giggled and wagged my tail. "I'll never get tired of that." I said to myself and made my way back to Akira.

"What did I do wrong? What did I do to deserve this?" Akira spoke to herself.

I sat right back next to her. "You didn't do anything wrong Akira. And I know what it's like being in a new place at your age."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I'm 21 and I was scared upon arriving at this hotel."

"This... is a hotel?"

"Yeah. We're in the Hazbin Hotel. And our job here is to get sinners like you to get redeemed and sent to Heaven."

"To Heaven?"

"Yeah."

"I'm still pretty scared." Akira held my paw tight.

"And it's okay to be scared. But you're not alone. I'm here with you." I placed my other paw onto her hand. "I promise that you're in good hands."

"Well..." she took in a deep breath. "Okay."

"Very good. Now, I'll show you around. Oh, and if I slow down a bit you can see the reason why." I giggled softly as I got up.

She looked up at my tummy. "Oh, you're expecting kids?"

"Yes." I nodded and helped her up. "Hold my hand so you don't get lost."

"Yes ma'am."

"Call me Aqua. I'd feel better if you did."

"Okay... Aqua." she smiled.

I smiled back as I showed her around the hotel I call home. By the end of the day, Akira was fully settled into her new life here. I was glad I was able to help her since the beginning. And I was also glad that I made yet another new friend. I was even more excited to see how much she was going to flourish. It's like everybody says, I'm the slice of life.
