~The next day...

~Aqua's POV~

I was in the lobby with Angel Dust and we were painting each other's nails. "Your fingernails look very pretty in white Angel." I looked up at him.

"Hmm, I'd prefer them regular pink or hot pink but they still look good." he said.

"They still look nice on you Angel." I smiled.

"Thanks toots." he said as he was using his second pair of arms to paint my nails in a mermaid blue color.

"It's nice to know that I have an arachnid as my bestie. A really cool arachnid."

"You said it."

"Oh, I have a gift for you." I said as I took the gift box out of my chest fur. "It's to show how much I love and care about you."

"What? You shouldn't have." he said. "But I do love gifts."

"You're really gonna love it." I wagged my tail.

Angel got excited and started opening the gift box. As I saw him open the lid, he took out a plushie of his piggies Fat Nuggets. "Oh my god..."

I giggled. "Since I know you love your piggy, I made you one."

"I love him!" he cried out and hugged the stuffed piggy.

"Well, since you can't bring the real deal to work. Might as well have one like this one. It's also scented to relieve you during your breaks from work."

"That's genius."

I smiled at him enjoying his gift. "It's been 3 months since I've arrived here. And what better way is to share it with my bestie for restie?"

"I love him. Thanks bestie." Angel said as he hugged me with all 4 arms.

"You're welcome." I hugged him back. Just then, I felt vibrating from his pocket. "Oh? Your phone Angel."

"Oh. Let me take this." he said as he got up and picked up his phone.

As I waited for him, I cleaned up our beauty day mess and placed it all in the make up case. After I saw him coming back, he had a smile on his face. I looked up at him. "What?"

"My friend Cherri wants to hang out. Fuck yeah!"

"Oh. You're going to hang out with your girl buddy?" I asked him as I stood on my feet.

"Yeah. I am."

"Oh. That's good. Umm, I'll see you later then. Be careful out there."

"Hey hold up now. I got a better idea. How about I take you along with me?"

"Oh umm, I don't know. I've never met her." I shook my head. "And I had plans for us tonight bestie. But if you want to see her, then you can go ahead. I won't stop you."

"No way. You can come with me. We're gonna have some drinks and have a good time! Let's get wasted."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. What's holding you back?"

"Well it's been a while since I've been outside the hotel a-and... I'm afraid to go back out there since my confrontation with my late rapist." I hugged myself.

"Don't worry. I'll be next to you the whole time. And Cherri will too."

"Well..." I thought about it. "Okay. I'll come along." I turned to the bar. "Hey Husky, I'm going out with Angel and Cherri!"

"Alright babe. Do be careful. You have my number just in case of anything. Right?" he asked me.

"Yes Husky." I responded to him.

"She'll be fine Whiskers. She'll be safe with me." Angel reassured him.

"Yeah. I'll be fine love. Um Angel, do you mind? I wanna kiss my kitty. And no, not that one." I asked Angel.

He chuckled. "Okay, just do it!"

"Okay." I looked back at Husky and placed my paws on his face. Then I leaned him to kiss him on the lips.

"Mmm~" he chuckled in the kiss.

"Mmm~" I giggled in the kiss and wagged my tail. I was on cloud 9 during the kiss.

"Let's go!" Angel said as he dragged me away from the kiss and carried me over his shoulders.

"Okay mister impatient." I waved. "Bye Husky. I love you."

"I love you too Aqua. And remember Angel, if she's hurt I'll have your head." Husky said.

"Don't worry. I will protect her." Angel said.

"I miss you already!" I called out to him.

Husky chuckled. "Me too my little mermaid. Have fun." he waved.

"Romeo will be fine Juliet." he said as he opened the hotel door. As he walked through the door and closed it, he puts me down from his shoulders. "Man girl."

"What?"

"You're really falling head over heels for him."

"Y-Yeah." I blushed and twirled a strand of my hair.

"Since you've rekindled your relationship with him, you've both hit it off."

I felt the blush rising up to my cheeks. "Oh gosh. It's like I'm feeling my feelings all over again. I'd say things changed a lot ever since I got his soul back."

He chuckled. "And he's lucky to have ya."

"Yeah." I smiled and wiggled my ears to something coming towards us. It was a cherry red car pulling up towards. "Huh? Is that a limo?"

"Yeah. Looks like Cherri ordered us one. So we don't have to walk through the streets of Hell."

"Sounds fair."

"Sweet." he opened the car door. "After you."

"Thanks." I said as I climbed into the cherry red limousine.

After Angel climbed into the limo, the driver drove off to where we needed to go. As we were riding, we were talking about a few things until we got there. The driver stopped in front of the club and we both got out of the car.

"Man it's been a long while since I've been out with Cherri Bomb."

"Since I got here?"

"Just about."

"Ohh... I'm sorry. I've been nothing but trouble to you." my ears went down feeling bad.

"What the fuck? Hell no. You've been my best friend since the beginning. Stop putting bad stuff in that head of yours. You're my bestie for restie, and there's nothing that can separate us. Ever."

"Really?"

"Really. Now, let's head inside and get fucked up."

"Okay. But not too fucked up."

"Right. Since I promised Husky that I'd protect you."

"Okay. Let's go."

"Finally!" he said.

As we both entered the club together, the neon lights and thumping of the music was pretty loud. But it was a pretty powerful party.

"Come on toots, Cherri has to be around here somewhere." Angel said as he held my paw.

"Okay." I said as I followed him through the crowded club.
