~Husker's POV~

As I opened the door to Aqua's room with my tail, I went inside to lay her down on her bed. "Are you sure you're feeling okay Aqua?" I said as I sat on the edge of her bed.

"Y-Yeah." she sat up. "I'm okay kitty. It's just that..."

"Is it your wound? Does it hurt?" I lifted her shirt to see her bandages. They were still clean.

"Husk." she said as she puts her shirt back down while giving off a slight tint of red on her cheeks. "No. It doesn't hurt. But I'll be able to fully heal it after 3 more days."

"After the new moon period is over. Right?"

"Yeah."

"Then you'll be a mermaid again?"

"Yeah. Until the next new moon."

"Okay." I said as I hugged her gently. "You've been getting me pretty worried there."

"I'm sorry kitty. I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's okay."

"I have something for you."

"You do? You shouldn't have." I smiled.

"I kept it warm for you." she said as she was pulling out a box from her chest fur.

I chuckled. "Seriously, you keep everything in there."

"Open it. I really think you're going to like it." she said as she gave the box to me.

"I'm flattered." I said as I opened the box and looked inside. I gasped as I felt something very very familiar. "What?" I asked myself.

I shook my head. "What??" I reached inside to pull out 2 things that were inside. "This is... this is..."

"Hmm?"

"This is my soul..." I gasped softly. I was in total shock. "This is my soul..." I looked at Aqua. "H-How?"

"Alastor actually came up to me. In order for him to get married to Rachel, he'll have to release one of the souls. When he said yours, I knew it was destiny."

I was really in shock. Aqua really managed to get my soul back. But then I gasped. "You didn't trade yours in did you?!" I panicked.

"Oh! No no, I still have my soul! I promise. All he wanted in exchange was some of my scales and a drop of my supposingly blue raspberry flavored blood. Weird."

"That really is weird."

"I'll say."

I couldn't believe it, Aqua did this just for me. And she succeeded in breaking my curse. I didn't know what to feel. "You didn't have to do that..." I sniffled.

"If it was truly my soul, then I was willing to give it up. For you." Aqua laid her paw on mine.

I looked at my soul and accepted it back into my body, and then the contract vanished into thin air. I felt everything coming back to me. My feelings, my heart, even my soft side. I was truly overwhelmed with the emotions, I dragged Aqua onto my lap.

"Whoa Husk?"

"Mmm..." I hummed as I wrapped my arms around her waist. I looked up at her and couldn't hold myself any longer. So I brought her into a very deep kiss.

"M-Mmm." she hummed into the kiss.

As we were kissing, I felt my face burning up while kissing her soft luscious lips. They felt like rose petals. And it was at this moment, that I couldn't stop. As Aqua snaked her arms around my neck, I wrap my arms gently around her upper waist. And I was being extra careful not to touch her wounded area.

"M-Mmm~" Aqua moaned softly in the kiss.

I smiled in the kiss as I tasted her marshmallow coated lip gloss. I felt her tail wagging which meant that she was enjoying the kiss as much as I was. I hummed in the kiss and gently stroked her lower back.

"Mmm~" she moaned in the kiss again softly.

It felt like we were kissing for hours, but it only passed by a few mere minutes. Air was calling my name, but I didn't want to pull away. But I had to, I was getting too excited.

"Ohh~" Aqua panted softly.

I panted and placed my paw on her cheek. "A-Aqua?"

"W-Wow~ That was, amazing~" Aqua wagged her tail.

I realized what I did and blushes a lot. "Oh wow. I'm so sorry Aqua. Did it hurt?"

"What? No way. The kiss didn't hurt. That was really hot. Never knew you had that in you."

"Neither did I." I chuckled. "But now that the curse is broken, I can finally tell you everything about Alastor."

"Oh?"

"Alastor is bad news. He's an Overlord. He uses souls to make them scream on his broadcast and sometimes kill them to eat them..."

She gasped. "An overlord?"

"Yes. As in a higher level than sinners like you and me. I used to be an overlord. The overlord of gambling. Until that one day, Alastor won and I had to give up my soul for it."

"Well you don't have to be Alastor's pet anymore. You're finally free to be yourself again."

"Yes. And I have you to thank for it."

"It was no big deal really."

"Oh, it's truly a big deal for me. You've done the impossible and I'm forever grateful for it." I said while rubbing her cheek.

"Aw Husk." she blushed.

"Call me Husky, I like it when you say my name like that. Since that's the name you gave me."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, Husky."

"That's my girl."

She giggled and wagged her tail really fast. "That was a really nice kiss. Can we do it again?"

"Really?"

"Yeah. It was really hot."

"Are you sure? Once we start, I won't be able to stop." I blushed.

"Even if we do something... sinful?"

"That too." I blushed harder.

"Okay. I'll go first." she said as she pressed her rose for lips onto my lips.

"Mmm~" I hummed in the kiss and wrapped my arms around her waist and hummed into it.

"Mmm~" Aqua wagged her tail.

It felt like I was falling into the abyss of the ocean. But really I was laying my back onto the bed while being careful with my wings of course.

"Mmm~" I hummed in the kiss.

"Mmm Husky~" she moaned in the kiss too while wagging her tail.

It felt really really nice to have my soul back thanks to my guardian who wasn't an angel or a sinner. But this girl will always be an angel to me. And I was really glad that she's my girl.
