~The next day...

~Rachel's POV~

As I was cleaning up the kitchen after making dinner for the night, I went to the lobby to see everyone there. Angel was watching tv, Charlie and Vaggie were on the lobby stairs giving the guests the tour of the hotel, Alastor was serving the customers, and Husker was with Aqua at the bar holding paws.

"Aww, so cute." I smiled at them.

"They really are cute together, aren't they?" Charlie smiled at me.

"And to think that I've started their story with a black eye." I laughed to myself.

"Yep. Looks like things are moving along nicely for today." Charlie giggled softly. "Maybe even better pretty soon."

"Why's that?" I looked at her.

"Oh nothing. You'll see." she said as she went over to the bar to talk to Husk and Aqua.

I was a little confused on why Charlie said that, but I shrugged it off.

"Hey love?" Alastor called me up.

"Yeah love. What's up?" I said as I turned to him.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Oh yeah. Sure."

"Well..." he started as he was blushing. "Umm..."

"What is it? Say it."

"Well, I just want to let you know that I love you."

"Alastor. I love you too." I smiled as I held his hands.

"And I was thinking about making your dream a reality."

"What dream?"

"Well, remember the other day when you told me the story of you wanting to get married to the one you love?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Well..." Alastor said as he got down on one knee.

I gasped super loudly and my blush ran hot across my cheek. "A-Alastor?!"

He looked up at me and snapped his fingers to reveal a small red box. "Rachel, I want to make all of your dreams come true."

"Oh my gosh~!" Aqua got excited. "It's really happening~!!"

"Hehe." Angel chuckled as he started to record us in our special event with a lot of the guests surrounding us.

"A-Alastor... I... I don't know what to say." I covered my mouth and began to tear up. I wasn't sure if this was a dream or not, so I pinched myself. "Ow."

"Don't do that darling."

"Okay. It's not a dream." I blushed redder. "Can you continue?"

"Yes." he nodded. Rachel, I would love to be with you for the rest of my life. Be there for your good days, be there for your bad days. And I will also be there for you, even if I have a body or not. We'll make the hotel a better place not just for ourselves, but for all sinners as well. Rachel, will you marry me and become my mistress?"

I sniffled and used my tail to dry up my tears. "Yes. Yes." I nodded and got on my knees to hug him.

"Hooray!" the crowd cheered for us.

"Thank you so much." Alastor said as he hugged me. Then he pulled away and slipped the ring onto my left ringman finger. "A perfect fit for the perfect girl."

I giggled and dragged him into a big kiss. I was really happy that Alastor made my biggest wish come true.

Alastor pulled away. "We're going out to celebrate tonight."

"Ooh, what are we going to do?" I wagged my tail in excitement.

"We're going to have dinner at a show, and then we'll dance the night away." he winked at me.

"Ooh, sounds like a lot of fun." I smiled.

"Of course. We'll have a wonderful time tonight. Just you and me, having the best time of our lives." he said as he kissed my hand.

I giggled. "Alastor."

~Alastor's POV~

It had to be done like that. I really loved Rachel and I was willing to do anything for her to be mine. But just earlier this week, I had spoken to Charlie about the marriage ordeal and what had to be done. It was risky, but I took that chance.

In order for me to marry Rachel, I would have to give up one of the souls that I've possessed. It was a very hard decision, but I know who would be interested in this. I turned over to Aquamarine who was speaking with Angel Dust, and then I turned back to Rachel.

"My darling. You start getting ready. I have to speak with your younger sister."

"Ohh? About what?"

"About... plans for our wedding." I kissed her cheek.

"Okay. I'll start getting ready." she smiled and got up.

"I'll be ready once I'm finished talking with Aquamarine. Okay?"

"Okay." she said as she went to her room.

I walked over to the lobby couch to approach the winter white wolf. "Aquamarine."

"Hmm? Oh, hey Alastor." she waved.

"Sup Strawberry Pimp?" Angel smirked. "Never thought I'd say this, but you got guts proposing to Rachel in front of the hotel guests here. What a show you gave out."

"Of course. That's my job." I chuckled.

"Congratulations on proposing to my big sister. I've never seen her so happy." Aquamarine said.

"And I also have you to thank for giving me your blessing. I guarantee that I'll take very good care of her." I bowed to her.

"Of course." she wagged her tail.

"Is it alright if we talked some important matters alone?"

"Sure."

"Hey Aqua, we're still gonna hang out later?" Angel asked her.

"Yeah. After I'm done talking with him." she said to him.

"Okay."

"Okay Alastor. I'm ready." she said as she got up.

"Good. Follow me." I said as I was bringing her up the stairs. "Be careful now."

"I know. I know. That's what everybody's saying." she said as she was slowly walking up the stairs.

"Allow me." I said as I helped her up the stairs. "We don't want another unfortunate accident now do we?"

"No no. I've scared you guys enough already."

"Mainly Husker in his case."

"Yeah. When Angel told me how Husk found out I was injured, I felt bad that I've scared him."

"Yes. He was genuinely worried about you."

"Yeah. He was. But everything will be fine."

"Most definitely." I said as I was bringing her to the hallway so we can talk the matters of what I was really going to tell her.
