Richard awoke to in his room, well rested as there was a knock on the door. Richard got out of bed and got dressed before he answered to see an annoyed Vaggie who growled, "Look I don't trust you, but Charlie does and we need an extra set of hands today. Can you help Nifty with room service?"

Richard nodded, "Yeah totally. Nifty is that little demon kid right?"

Vaggie nodded, "So just lend her a hand around dinner time cause we got a lot of guests these last few days and weren't exactly prepared. Also don't kill anyone in the hotel."

"Hey if I'm going to kill anyone it's gonna be a very specific type of person," Richard explained, "And they wouldn't come here cause such people would damn well know they're beyond redemption."

Vaggie starred at Richard in confusion for a moment, unsure what group Richard could be referring. She asked, taking a stab in the dark, "Are you down here cause you're racist or..."

"Oh no no," Richard assured her, "And before your follow up it's not homophobia either. No. I hate one group because of what they did. Who they hurt." Richard clenched his fist, his eyes glowed. "The ones who took her away from me."

Richard collected himself and smiled, "But nah I got this don't worry."

Vaggie sighed, "Fine but if you become a threat to this hotel Richard, unlike Charlie I'm willing to do what it takes to save these souls."

Vaggie put her knife to Richard's throat and hissed, "Get the picture?"

Richard nodded. Vaggie put the knife away and elaborated, "You'll be helping Nifty prepare dinner by getting ingredients from the store. Don't kill anyone on the way unless you like, you know, have to."

Richard nodded once more and left, before he turned back to get his brass knuckle and left again. He left to buy things for dinner...

Not knowing he might just end up dinner...

The demon laughed, her laughter echoed despite there being no walls, a supernatural ability of hers causes it to echo from seemingly all directions as her victim's organ appeared in her hand, removed upon contact with the victim's skin before she ate it, a kidney, whole. The demon stood up to her full and meager height of 4 foot 3, rather short for her age. She adjusted her black overcoat and large purple hat, looking at her reflection in the puddle of blood around the body. She rustled her own short black hair and allowed her small white horns, and straightened out the long white feather on her hat, which had a very large rim. A Sun hat from an era long past. Her appearance taken care out, she, with another supernatural gift that silenced her movements, turned into a small black cat with eyes pure white just like those of her human form, when she overheard from a T.V. in a bar and turned to pay closer attention as the phrase, "Bounty of 100 grand," caught her attention.

"So again if someone can just kill the man," Katie Killjoy elaborated lifting a suit case onto her desk, "I have the money right here."

Katie opened the brief case to show stacks of bills and elaborated, "So kill Richard West. His image is on screen now. He's a sadist with a head up his ass so do Hell a favor and make a quick buck."

The Demon muttered to herself, "Well Sclera, sadists are the tastiest demons to eat. Where would he be though?"

A bike bell rang as Richard rode down the side walk on a red bike, a demon yelled at him after jumping out of the way and pulled the gun, but by now Richard had grown used to the chaos of Hell and while whatever magics he would develop were still unusable, he had become a physically strong and skilled fighter. As the demon pulled a gun, Richard screeched his bike to a halt, leaving skid marks on the ground as he quickly ripped the bike chain which he used as a whip to slap the gun out of the demon's hand, his eyes glowed as he checked what sin it commited.

"Pure enough," he muttered to himself, "Still impure but since they didn't commit that sin... not worth the time to kill."

With quick finesse, Richard reattached the bike chain and reread the grocery list as the demon tended to his broken hand.

"Mrow?" A voice softly purred. Richard looked down to see a kitten.

"Awww," Richard commented, "I thought all animals want to Heaven. Well then I suppose I can see if we can get you up in the clouds. Maybe the hotel has an animal shalter?'

Richard went to pick up the kitten, but as soon as he touched the cat he vomited blood, as blood is technically an organ. He heard laughter from all directions as the cat turned into a demon who reached out to slit Richard's throat, which Richard blocked with his bike chain.

Scelra laughed madly, laughter came from all directions as she turned back into a cat and hid in the shadows. Richard looked around frantically as the demon asked from seemingly everywhere, "Oh man do those eyeballs look tasty. I'm gonna kill you and then I'll be able to buy all the meat in Hell with the bounty!"

Richard spotted in the corner of his eye a small cat leaping at him, and narowlly dodged, going if that demon touched him again, he would die. The car reverted to demon form once more and lunged, but with a skillful swing of his chain, Richard swung the chain at her neck, choking her. She gasped for air.

"Please..." she begged, "No... not like this..."

Richard glared his eyes aglow, looking at her sins to decide whether she was worth killing.

"Again," he sighed, "Not impure enough to justify pissing off Charlie."

Richard pulled back the chain and reattached it to his bike, "So you were a cannibal?"

The girl nodded catching her breath, "I started eating stray cats when I was twelve. Now I can only eat me and in life I started eating people I just... man I died when I was 14. The irony. But you're fun to play with! Wanna be friends?"

"This isn't a game," Richard growled, "I am Richard West. Purifer. I kill any who have a harmed a child. I spared you only because you have not. If you had..." Richard growled as his eyes glowed, "You'd be dead where you stand."

"Look..." Richard sighed, "You're a kid so you can like, come to the hotel if you ever need food or whatever, but I dream of a world free of child abuse. In life I fought child abusers as a vigilante and only child abusers. We aren't friends. I help you only for moral obligation towards protecting children. Nothing more."

Richard got on his bike and sighed, "Check into the hotel if you can."

"But they're boring!" Sclera protested, "I wanna eat demons they're tasty! Animal meat is no fun to hunt it doesn't scream it doesn't fight."

"And that's why we're not friends," Richard elaborated, "I'll see you later."

Richard went to the store quickly, his face hidden by his jacket and gave the goods to Nifty in the kitchen.

"OK that's all," Nifty explained, "This is a ladies's job."

Richard nodded and began to leave.

"You should eat more no offense," Nifty added?

"What do you mean?" Richard inquires as Nifty dashed across the counter to chop vegetables to put into a soup.

"You're underweight," Nifty explained, "No fat or muscle. Any strength you've gained is from you honing your demonic powers. Not from physical fitness."

Richard shrugged, "I've always been like a hundred pounds so... yeah. Cya later."

Nifty waved as she dashed over to the meat Richard bought and heard a soft meow.

Nifty spotted a small black kitten with horns.

"Oh my God a cat!" She exclaimed cuddling the kitten, "I love her! You're mine now..."

Nifty looked the collar of the cat, "Cats never go to Hell but you're my kitten now Sclera..."
