One evening, on an island of O'ahu in Hawaii, there is a nice house near the beach. It belongs to a family of three. And there's going to be a New Year's Eve celebration going on at the beach tonight.

The house is simple and white, and only has two floors. The house is simple, but it's home. It has a porch with a grassy yard.

In the house, there is the father named Alexander Kalama. He stands around 5.6 feet tall. He has pale skin, blonde hair, thick black eyebrows, black lips. His eyes are white with red slit pupils resembling those of a snake. He has red cheeks. He is wearing a red button up shirt, with white palm leaf patterns, white pants, and black shoes.

He is busy helping clean the living room.

In the kitchen is the mother, Lilo Kalama, who is around 6.5 feet tall. She has golden tan skin, long, wavy, black hair, and blue eyes. She is wearing a black crop tube top, with a long knee length purple skirt decorated with pink, white, and blue flowers, and wears white sandals. She also has a red flower hair clip in her hair.

She is cooking some food to bring to the New Year's Eve Party, and it's going to be a Potluck Party. She made some kagami mochi, sausage balls, and pigs in a blanket. She continues to make the kagami mochi in the kitchen.

There is also someone else in the kitchen who is helping Lilo prepare the food. Her and Alexander's daughter, Zelda Kalama, is eighteen years old, and the only child of the family.

Zelda is beautiful, tall, slender, and slightly muscular for a girl her age. She stands 5.3 feet tall. She inherited both traits from her parents. Like her father, she has blonde hair, but is long and wavy. She also has rosy red cheeks. And like her mother, she has golden tan skin, brownish-pink lips, and thick eyebrows, but it's blonde. And she also has her mother's blue eyes. She is wearing a crimson red sundress decorated with white flowers on it, and wears black sandals.

Lilo turns to Zelda and asks, "How are the Sausage balls going?"

"Doing fine, but I've never had to make this many sausage balls before. Then again, we are going to be at a party," Zelda says.

Soon, Alexander walks in, "That's right. And we'll need to make sure the house is clean before heading out."

"Yeah. I can't wait for the New Year's Eve Party to start, and to see my friends and cousins," Zelda says.

"Glad to hear it," Lilo says.

Zelda turns to her dad and asks, "Hey dad, do you think I get to see anyone in your family come?"

Hearing that makes Alexander flinch. Then shows concern on his face.

He answers, "Well... Zelda, I've already told you, I've kind of not been on speaking terms with my family a long time ago."

"I know, but I still wish I could have met them, or at least know what they look like," Zelda says.

"I understand, my little mermaid. Sadly, my brother and I had a falling out and we cut ties. And well, same with the rest of my family," Alexander says.

Zelda sighs, "I suppose... but would it be nice for you to make up."

"Maybe, but it's been a long time. I'm not sure if it's possible at this point..." Alexander says. Then turns to the window and says, "Maybe someday..."

"Okay dad," Zelda says.

Lilo soon finishes with the mochi and says, "Well, now that's done. We should start getting the stuff in the car and ready to go."

"Sure hon, I'll go help. I've finished cleaning the living room anyway," Alexander says.

Alexander then grabs a couple of plates as Lilo picks up another tray with a lid on it, and both of them carry them out of the kitchen and head to the car outside. When they reach the car

Lilo turns to Alexander, "Alex, I know you don't like to talk about it, but don't you think you should tell Zelda about... your past... and where you're from..."

"I know..." Alexander says and lets out a sigh, "It's been twenty one years since the day I've met you, and of course, eighteen years since I've decided to leave my old life behind for my family."

"Yes, " Lilo says, and places the covered food on the table. "I know you've been very reluctant to tell Zelda about, your past, and your family, but she does have the right to know. She's just turned eighteen."

"Yeah. You think after eighteen years, I will be ready to tell her about my past... and my family, but... I wonder if she's able to handle it," Alexander says.

"I remember. You've always wanted to tell Zelda about the truth until she's old enough to understand, but worried on how she will react to it, especially about talking about your family," Lilo says, and uses the remote to open the trunk to the car.

Alexander lowers his head as he places the sealed tray inside the trunk of the car.

Lilo places her hand on Alexander's shoulder, "I know it's difficult and that you wanted to give Zelda a normal life, but how long do you think you can keep this from her."

"You're right. I felt that I've kept this from her long enough," Alexander says. Then turns to Lilo, "Tonight, after the New Year's Eve Party, I'll tell her. I just hope she's able to handle it well, especially learning how different my family and I really are. What's more, learning of what's going to happen after her eighteenth's birthday."

"I'm sure Zelda will understand," Lilo says.

"I sure hope so," Alexander says, showing concern.

Sometime later, the family had all the food made and put them in the car to take to the party a short distance at another part of the beach. Alexander and Lilo all dressed and are already in the living room, and waiting for Zelda

Alexander calls out, "Zelda, are you ready?"

"Ready," Zelda answers and walks down stairs.

Zelda is dressed in an apple red off shoulder frill crop blouse, a white knee length, black sandals with a sand dollar design on it. A white sun hat with a ocean blue band and ribbon, it also has a Calico Scallop Shell, with a starish, and both are decorated with pearls. It also has a baby's ear shell. She's also wearing her a black backpack, decorated with red apples, and blue snake silhouettes, along with white flowers. Around her neck is a necklace. The necklace has a golden chain with a pendant of a scallop shell, it is colored, red, black, white, and blue, and it's closed shut. She is also wearing a black scrunchy in a low ponytail. She is also holding a carrier for reptilian pets. Inside the carrier is a habitat fit for a snake. Inside the carrier is a black and blue striped snake with a white face. The snake appears to be relaxing in a rock as it sleeps peacefully.

"I see you and Kai are ready to go," Alexander says.

"You got it. I figure Kai would want to come," Zelda says, lifting the carrier to her view.

She sweetly says, "Kai, it's time to wake up. We're going to a party."

Soon, the snake, Kai, wakes up from his sleep to reveal his bright red color eyes. He sticks his tongue out to see Zelda, and he seems happy to see her.

"Hey Kai, you were sleeping a little longer than usual today. Come on, we're going to a party," Zelda says.

Kai simply sticks his tongue out in response.

Alexander laughs, "Well, Kai is still a sleepy head." He then notices the necklace around Zelda's neck, "I see you've decided to wear the necklace I've given you on your eighteenth birthday."

"I sure do. I just really love it," Zelda says.

"I know you do," Alexander says.

Then says in thought, "I can only hope I can tell Zelda before the locket opens up. Then again, it will only happen under the conditions I placed on it."

"Come on Zelda, we don't want to be late for the New Year's Eve Party," Lilo says.

"Okay mom," Zelda says.

Soon, Zelda, and her parents climb in the car and Alexander drives the car away from the house.

Time has passed, and the New Year's Eve Celebration has already taken place and everyone is having a good time. Everyone are eating, dancing, playing, singing, and having all kinds of fun. Among people on the table, Zelda is chatting with some friends and classmates while Kai the snake is sleeping in his reptilian tank.

One of her friends, Teressa asks, "So how long is Kai going to be sleeping?"

"Well, he did have some boiled eggs, so it could be a while before he wakes up," Zelda says.

Zelda's other friend, Jeremy laughs and says, "A snake taking a cat nap."

The group begins laughing with smiles on their faces.

Zelda soon looks at her phone to see that it's almost the New Year, 11:59 P.M

"It looks like the year is almost over," Zelda says.

"I'm so excited," Another friend, Pedro, says.

Suzy also says, "I love counting down."

Soon everyone begins counting down backwards, "13... 12... 11... 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

Everyone cheers with excitement as they blow noisemakers, tosses confetti in the air, and happily cheer and say to each other 'Happy New Year'. Soon, Fireworks fire into the sky at the beginning of the New Year, and everyone is amazed and excited because they know that it's the New Year.

Zelda turns to see her parents walk over to her.

"Happy New Year Mom and Dad," Zelda says.

"Happy New Year, Sweetie," Lilo says.

"Happy New Year," Alexander says.

Suddenly, Zelda hears something, and turns back to see the tank has been tilted over on the table and Kai is gone.

"Kai?" Zelda questions.

Zelda begins to look around, "Kai! Kai! Kai!"

"Where did he go?" Lilo asks.

"I'm sure he didn't go far," Alexander says, looking around.

Zelda looks around in deep concern, and begins to search for Kai. She suddenly notices Kai is on the other side of the street and sees his tail going into the bushes.

"Kai?!" Zelda says, and runs over, "Kai, wait!"

Zelda then runs through the bushes and soon sees Kai slithering through the forest of the island.

"Kai! Come back! Kai!" Zelda calls out as she chases after him. "Kai, where are you going?!"

Kai continues to slither through the jungles of the island as Zelda is trying to keep up.

"Boy, he's moving really fast," Zelda says to herself.

Zelda continues to chase after her pet snake as fast as she can. As soon as Zelda is able to exit the jungle-like forest, she soon sees a large waterfall with a river on the bottom. There are palm trees, bushes, and other trees that are full of fruits.

"Wow. I didn't even know this place was even here," Zelda says to herself. "It's very beautiful."

She soon looks around, "Now, where did Kai go?"

Zelda begins walking around the large clearing.

She calls out, "Kai! Kai!"

Zelda searches around as she calls out for Kai, but she doesn't see the snake anywhere. Just then, she notices a cave behind the waterfall.

"A cave?" Zelda responds, confused. "I've never been this way before."

Zelda then brings out her cellphone, and turns on the flashlight on it. Then the young woman begins walking inside the cave. Zelda reaches inside of her bag and brings out her phone. She turns on the flashlight on it, and walks down the tunnel as she searches around.

Zelda calls out, "Kai! Where are you?! Kai!"

Zelda continues to walk deep in the cave and soon reaches the end to find a large cavern with a lake in the center. She soon looks at the shore of the lake that seems close to the tunnel, she sees a familiar small black and blue snake.

"Kai!" Zelda says in relief.

Zelda rushes over to see that Kai is fine and seems to be sitting there.

"There you are, Kai," Zelda says.

Kai turns around to see Zelda, allowing his owner to pick him up in her hands. Kai soon slithers up Zelda's arm and gently wraps himself around her neck and rests his head on her shoulder.

"You crazy serpent, you scared me there," Zelda says.

Kai then sticks his tongue out and lifts his head up to lick Zelda's cheek.

Zelda chuckles with a grin, "You little sneak. Come on, let's head back to the beach. I'm sure mom and dad must be..."

But suddenly, he notices something glowing red in the center of the lake.

"Huh? What's this?" Zelda wonders.

Zelda then slowly walks over to the edge of the lake and steps her feet in the water. The young woman continues to step into the water a little further towards the center. Suddenly, the red light begins to glow bright and it's starting to blind her.

"Wha-what's going on?!" Zelda exclaims.

The red light continues to glow as the entire cave turns red. Suddenly, the water in the cave begins to swirl into a watery vortex. Zelda then feels the water getting deeper as the current increases in speed. The current is so fast that it knocks Zelda off her feet from the weakened sand on her feet, causing her to drop her phone as it lands on the shore, and she begins to get pulled by the current. Zelda begins to panic as she tries to swim back to shore, but the current is getting too strong for her to swim back.

Zelda cries out, "Kai, get in my backpack!"

Kai soon slithers to an opening of the backpack and slithers inside. Zelda continues to swim as fast as she can, but she is being dragged close and closer to the whirlpool.

As Zelda tries to swim, she cries out, "Someone help! Help me!"

Zelda is being drawn closer and closer to the whirlpool

Zelda cries out, "Mom, help me! Mom!" And unable to swim longer, Zelda falls into the whirlpool and falls to the bottom where some strange portal is at the bottom.

Zelda cries out, "DADDY!"

And soon, Zelda falls right through it, and everything goes black. Where the mysterious portal is taking her, not even she knows.

In a city known as Pentagram City in a world called Hell, a world where demons and sinners roam. An event has just come to an end. Some of the places are deserted and no one is on the street. And some have poles that are covered in blood and a demon is stabbed by a spear.

Ending in the sky

At a tall building a young woman walks on the balcony with a sad expression on her face. The young lady's name is Charlotte Morningstar, the Princess of Hell, or Charlie for short. She's the daughter of the rulers of Hell, King Lucifer and Lilith Morningstar.

Charlie is a tall, slender, hellborn demon, standing at around 6 feet tall. She has long, blonde hair, with lighter blonde and pink highlights, which is tied into a twice-banded low ponytail. Her blonde bangs flip to her left with a curl. Her lips are black and she has rosy red cheeks. She wears gray eyeliner, her eyes are red, her sclera is light yellow, and she has thick black eyelashes, both top and bottom. She accessorizes with a small black bow tie and black suspenders, with an untucked white, long-sleeved dress-shirt. Over this she usually wears a fitted red tuxedo jacket with dark-red lapels and a pair of red fitted pants. She wears black and white saddle shoes.

She walks onto the balcony and lets out a sad sigh as she brushes back her hair. Charlie then raises her other arm up in the sky and fires some kind of fireball. It explodes into the sky as multi-colored fireworks.

As soon as the fireworks light up the sky, many different demons come out and begin to walk on the streets.

In a dark building, a tall gray woman with black and white colored hair walks to the curtains and opens it with her long fingers. There is another gray male demon wearing a black top hat with a red and green feather drinking a glass, while two more are in the darkness.

Some fellows make a winning sometime

At a different part of the city, there is a large purple colored building with pink windows. It has a sign that reads 'Porn Studios' with red lips in the middle. The sign also has a red female demon wearing a black jumper and black hair.

In one of the floors of the building, there are three demons.

The first demon is a slim, technology-themed demon, standing at approximately 7 feet with a flat-screen TV for a head. The monitor projects two eyes with red sclera and light blue pupils, the outline and wrinkles of his left eye being cyan, and a mouth with sharp teeth that glows light blue. His skin is dark gray and his fingers are light blue from the second knuckle. He wears a dark blue tuxedo with lighter stripes and a black and red striped shirt. He has a red bow tie and a light blue undershirt with an upside-down broadcast symbol. On his head, he wears black top hat with red and blue designs reminiscent of a broadcast symbol and radio wave symbol, respectively. His TV antennae stick out the top of the hat, the right one bent into a zigzag.

Sitting next to him is a slim female demon with slightly gray-brown skin. She has long, curly hair tied into large pigtails which are velvet on the tips and pale blue at the ends, with white swirl streaks on her pigtails and on her bangs and with black hair ties holding her hair up. Her eyes have white irises and red sclera, and she seems to be wearing white clown eyeliner with burgundy eyeshadow and black lipstick with a strip across the center of her mouth. She wears a black shirt with two hearts on it, and a gray vest with a fur collar that has red hearts. She wears velvet-blue striped pants with a heart-shaped buckle belt, and maroon shoes with white pom poms on the top. She also wears two skull earrings on each side of her head and fingerless black striped evening gloves, with the alternate colors of the right and left being white and velvet, respectively.

The female demon excitedly shows the TV headed demon her phone, probably showing something on social media.

Sitting across from them is a tall, slender moth demon around 10 feet tall with grayish-lavender skin and cerise-pink eyes, over which he is always depicted wearing gold-rimmed heart-shaped sunglasses with cerise-pink lenses. He has a wide mouth full of sharp, red colored, pointed teeth, and possesses a single golden fang that sits to his far left of center. He wears a floor-length vivid-red coat, which features a white fur trim at the wrists, as well as black and white striped fur trim down the coat center-front to the bottom hem. Along with long black heeled boots. A large fluffy white 'collar' decorated with small red love-hearts is wrapped around his neck - this plumes up from his coat's break-line. His coat is pinned with a gold chain and gold love-heart shaped broach fastenings at the breast. He accessorizes with a matching vivid-red top hat that has a wide, asymmetrical zebra-print hat-band. Two appendages sprout from the band of the hat: on his left, one black spiked antennae, and on his right, what appears to be a large black and white striped feather.

The message reads:

In a different part of town, a female demon wearing a light peach dress and light color hat has been killed. The one with dark hair with black clothes holds a spear while the other wears red glasses and a white lab coat checks off the checklist in her hand. Then black round creatures jump on the corpse and begin to eat it.

Above the building, there is another female demon wearing a large black and red hat and matching dress. The sign reads 'Franklin and Rosie Emporium.' The demon uses a black paint brush to cross off the name 'Franklin' on the sign.

I'm always chasing rainbows

Down on the street, all the demons and sinners go on with their lives in Hell. Some also pick up the remaining corpses of those who are exterminated. Some also walk around the town, smoke, drink, and such.

Waiting to find a little bluebird

Charlie begins to shed tears and again turns to the clock tower. When she turns her head, her eyes turn red and the pupils turn yellow.

In vain

At the streets of Hell where the clock tower is, all the demons and sinners are walking. The clock that shows the time continues to tick. The sign below says 'Next Cleanse 0 Days.' Then changes to 'Next Cleanse 365 Days' and it begins to ring.
