To start this off I should explain a bit about Y/N herself. A charming young lady overtaken by the mental plague of depression. She was the UV light of the room, everyone took notice of her, but for all the wrong reasons. The constant bags under her eyes, or the dim light within them, or maybe it was her nonexistent smile. No one had ever seen her smile at anything, and most people just avoided her whenever she was near. The reason she was this way was because her small fragile heart had been broken by her now ex boyfriend. She thought that it was true love, but he didn't think so. He had lied about loving her for years. Back then she was a bubbly and happy person, and she was the brightest girl in the room. Unfortunately for her the relationship was false on his side. When he broke the news to her she broke down, she genuinely loved him, but he never did. The countless times that they kissed, hugged, and gone out together meant absolutely nothing to him.

The stress of the situation was what took her life. Unable to handle the emotional trauma she had undergone was simply too heavy a toll on her, so she took her own life. She was distraught to say the least when she arrived in Hell, but what did she expect, she committed suicide, a sin the was certain to send her here. Wandering the flickering street flooded with demons of all kinds she soon realized she was no longer the thin malnourished human she once was. The reflection of her face in the shop windows startled her at first, but soon she grew used to it. Her torture was that she would have to be this strange creature that at first didn't make any sense to her at all. Big ears on her head and a long striped tail. Her mind couldn't figure out what kind of animal she was meant to be until it finally clicked.

' I'm a lemur. '

The longer she stared at the image in the window the more used to it she got. She kind of liked the tail she had, it was soft and long. Her form wasn't as creepy as she first thought, it was actually kind of cute. A satisfied hum sounded from her, she turned away and continued to walk down the street.

Her footsteps stopped in front of a building that looked as if it could topple over at any point in time. She scanned the buildings exterior curiously, after all it's not everyday that you see such a strange establishment. Eventually she built up enough strength and opened the door leading into the place. It was dark, but spotless and neat. Stepping further inside she kicked something on the ground; looking down she saw it was a simple red pen.

Suddenly a girl poked her head out from around the corner. She gasped and ran over to Y/N. "Hiya! I'm Charlie, Princess of Hell, nice to meet you!" She shook Y/N's hand vigorously. "Can I book you a room?" She asked, pulling papers out of her pocket with what seemed like magic. Y/N wouldn't deny it, it was Hell she was trapped in. She nodded slowly and took the paperwork out of Charlie's hands. "Oh! Let me grab you a pen-" Charlie rushed off to search for a pen. While she stared at the paperwork she remembered she saw a pen on the ground when she entered. Walking over to the spot she bent down and picked it up, signing the paperwork.

"I'm back! Oh, you already did the paperwork!" Charlie returned shortly after she had signed everything she needed to. Charlie smiled and took the paperwork, flipping through it very quickly. "Alrighty! You're all good, here's your room key, number 130." Charlie pointed to an elevator off on the other side of the room.

The key slid into the door without so much as a click. The door swung open seemingly on its own. A potent smell of cleaning supplies emitted from the room almost instantly after its opening. It smelled like a hospital, sadness some would say. The room itself wasn't exactly impressive, but it had everything you would need. A bed, a TV, a closet, and a bathroom. Very plain looking it was, but she didn't exactly expect anything spectacular from a hotel with about 5 customers.

Y/N threw herself onto the bed and quickly realized that the mattress was more like a sheet than anything else. She recoiled in pain, it felt as if she had broken her back on the paper thin mattress. Sighing in disappointment and stood up and cracked her back with a satisfying crunch.

Wandering out of her room and into the halls she found a peculiar object laying on the ground. Crouching down to pick it up she noted that it was a simple red handkerchief with the name 'Alastor' embroidered in gold thread. She hummed at it, and stuck it in her pocket. Continuing her walk down the never ending hallway, it finally ended with the very same elevator that she took to get up here. She pressed the elevator call button she waited for a small while before she walked inside the elevator on her way to the lobby.

In what seemed like a split second she was down in the lobby. She stepped out the elevator and wandered aimlessly around the lobby looking at every detail. As fate would have it, she bumped into something, or someone? She looked up and started apologizing profusely when she realized she had bumped into another demon. "Oh don't worry dear! I'm Alastor, I don't believe we've met before." He grabbed her hand gently and kissed it. Y/N felt heat on her cheeks suddenly. "I- yeah. My name, uhm that; Y/N." She stuttered out bashfully. He let out a hearty chuckle as she struggled to even speak. "Wait, uh- your name is Alastor, correct?" She asked anxiously. He nodded with his iconic smile. She pulled the red handkerchief out of her pocket. "Is this yours?" She asked, extending out her hand with the cloth in it. "Oh yes it is! Thank you dear for finding it for me, I was wondering where it could've gone." His smile widened as he took it from her hand. "How about as a thank you for finding my prized handkerchief, I take you out to lunch?" He offered. Y/N nodded shyly, she was basically being asked out on a date. "Then it's settled! Come to my room at 1 and we can head out, it's room number 152!" He tilted his head every other way for each number. What a cute quirk. Wait no the 4th wall, nO STOP CRUMBING.

Time passed quickly as Y/N paced around her room waiting for the digital alarm clock that sat on her bedside table to turn to at least 12:40. She didn't know if they were walking, driving, or even teleporting. You could never tell when it came to the underworld (I could've made that rhyme with Hell with I'm here to disappoint all of you). Before she knew it she glanced at the clock, which read 12:42 PM. She jumped up and opened her door, speeding down the hall to room 152, where Alastor waited for her.

Knocking gently on the door at first she waited. No later than a second the door swung open. "Ah hello dear! Ready for dinner?" Alastor's smile seemed to widen in the presence of her. Y/N nodded her head with a short yes to go along with it. He laughed softly and took her hand to lead her down the hall to the elevator. "We'll be walking, so it's good you came early." Alastor explained as they walked through the lobby and out of the front doors.

Walking together in peace the pair started talking about their lives before they were sent here for eternal damnation. When it got to how they died Y/N froze up. "Sorry it's just, I don't want to talk about it." She muttered the last part under her breath, but Alastor still seemed to pick it up. "If it makes you feel any better, I was mauled by dogs." He laughed at his own misfortune. "Thanks Al, but I died at my own hands." Y/N laughed in a very clearly fake way. "Oh  dear..." Alastor whispered to himself. To attempt to comfort Y/N he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a tender hug.

Shocked at first, Y/N tensed up. But then she saw that he was at least trying, so she hugged him back. "Thank you." She murmured into his suit. "Not a problem dear! Now let's continue to get a bite to eat." He laughed and pulled away, taking her hand into his own. Y/N's eyes widened slightly, but she continued walking along the sidewalk with him.

Alastor stopped in front of a building called 'The Coffee Spoon' (If you get that reference you get a scholarship to dating me, and I will write a chapter). It was a coffee shop, with a hipster vibe around it. Vinyl crackles every now and then adding to the music that playing throughout the cafe. Alastor led her to a cozy little area that had two seats. "What would you like to drink, and eat dear?" He asked her as Y/N took her seat. "Uhh, I'll just have whatever you have, but with a blueberry muffin." She smiled at him as he went to go order their food. Alastor soon returned with a tray that had two coffees, and two muffins. "I normally get the chocolate muffin, you would think it's sweet but its actually quite bitter! So your choice in a blueberry muffin was most likely a good one." Alastor snickered as he placed down the muffin and coffee in front of her, then he took his seat.

Laughing and sharing their best stories from life they sat. If silence were to come it would be comforting, not awkward. The small bell of the door sounded through the building. Quickly glancing over she saw that it was her ex boyfriend, the one who subsequently ended her life. "Hey Alastor, can we leave?" She asked, her voice quivering slightly. "Why? I'm barely even done with my muffin?" He asked confused. "Because my ex boyfriend, ya know, the one that drove me to take my life, just entered the building." Continually glancing over at her exes direction nervously she sat. Until he turned around and locked eyes with her.

"Holy shit, Y/N is that you?" He rushed over to her at god like speeds. "Look listen I'm sorry but like, we need to catch up-" He was cut off by Alastor glaring daggers into his soul, even with such a bright smile. "Did you get a NEW boyfriend? Huh? Did you move on from me, your now ex boyfriend, and left me in the trash?" His voice echoed throughout the coffee shop, his tone irritated and angry. "I'd think it would be a smart move of yours to leave us alone." The room turned to static as Alastor's smile radiated through the room. "Unless we want to have some complications." He spoke through his smile, his never ending smile. Y/N's ex cowered back in fear and ran out of the coffee shop. Just like that, the room turned back to normal. "I'm sorry you had to witness that dear, but I just can't stand anyone who seems to lack basic human etiquette." He shook his head. "Now then, let's head back to the hotel, shall we?"

The walk back to the hotel was just as enjoyable as the walk to the coffee shop. Except, with less awkwardness. The two spoke as if they had known each other for many years before, even though they had only met that day. Soon enough the hotel was in their eyesight. Walking up to the doors that had somehow brought the odd couple together Alastor opened one, and held it open for Y/N. She giggled and walked through. "Wow what a gentleman." She joked. "I certainly try!" They laughed together. "I will say, I haven't had fun like that in years, even if trouble did eventually find its way in." Alastor admitted to Y/N. "I have to say, I'm in the same place as you." Y/N responded to Al, his smile never faltering. "Well I'm glad I made you smile today, it looks fantastic on you dear. Maybe we can do this again some day?" He offered. "Yeah! I'd really like that that Al."
