Continuation of the first one! I'm using he/him pronouns for the reader because Angel is canonically gay, but if you use any other pronouns, just go ahead and use those instead.

You and Angel had been together for a year now, and tomorrow was your anniversary. You smiled at the thought that you had met on Valentine's day, and so that was your anniversary. You were going to go to dinner with the former porn star, who had checked in to the Happy Hotel with you. You had invited friends and family to your little anniversary party, and it was going to be your first time meeting Angel's family. "Some of 'em are jerks, but my sister Molly, she's a sweetheart. You're gonna love her," Angel had told you. You had no family except for your dad, who would without a doubt be coming to the anniversary party. You also invited Charlie, Vaggie, Niffty, Husk (after Angel begged you so he could annoy the poor cat), and Alastor (under the same circumstances as Husk). 

{time skip}

It was 30 minutes before the party. You heard everyone finishing putting up the decorations, and you smelled the food. Your dad had arrived early, only to keep an eye out on you from Angel's family. "They won't hurt me. Angel's not even sure if his dad and brother will come," you had told him. "I just want you to be safe," your dad said. "I'm so happy for you guys! First anniversary, and it's on valentine's day! How romantic! This is going to be AWESOME!" Charlie told you, excitement making her talk fast as she hugged you. "I've always wanted to throw an anniversary party! My parents don't really celebrate their anniversary anymore....and Vaggie and I like ours to be special and private. I already have a song picked out, and I hope you'll like it!" Charlie told you, and you could pretty much hear her bouncing with excitement. 

You then heard Angel approach you. "My dad and brother aren't coming. They said they have more important things to do," he told you. He put two hands on your shoulders and one hand stroked you hair. "Yes, dad, I know you said you don't have time, but you could act like you cared a bit and say you tried to reschedule the meeting!" you heard him say. He must have been on the phone. "Yes, I know Molly is probably coming, but if you could show that you cared about me a little bit, that'd be great!" he said sarcastically. He took his hands off your shoulders and you heard his voice change as he turned around. "You could have told me more than 10 minutes ago. I really got (y/n)'s hopes up when I said that he could meet you," Angel said. There was a pause and you heard a faint voice through the phone. "I know you favor Arackniss over me because he takes after you, but think about how your other kids feel! It's kinda heartless of you to practically ignore me and Molly," he said. You could hear the anger in his voice. The voice on the other side of the phone was interrupted by Angel. "Yeah, I know, 'in our time, being gay was wrong', but these are new times dad! Suck it up! I've made a career out of this! I'm in love with (y/n)! You have to suck it up and accept it!" Angel snapped. There was another pause. "Yeah, I know. I'll talk to you some other time. Bye," he said. You reached forward and felt one of Angel's hands. You held his hand and walked up to him. "It's alright. If they don't like you, we don't have to even care that they aren't coming," you said. "Yeah, I understand. It's just that, Arackniss was always the favorite. He was just like dad. Heartless, reckless, violent. Only cared 'bout himself. So when dad said he wasn't coming today, it just...hit me again, y'know?" Angel explained. You nodded and hugged him. 

"Angel!!" you heard a female voice. "Molly!" Angel exclaimed. You felt Angel leave your side, presumably to hug her. "How have you been?" he asked. "Oh, I've been doing great. How about you?" she asked. "Great! I've been great! Molly, I'd like you to meet (y/n)," he said, placing a hand on your back. "Hi! I'm Molly, Angel's twin sister," she introduced herself. "Hi! I'm (y/n), Angel's boyfriend," you replied. "Ohh, I'm so happy to have met you!" she said, promptly hugging you. You weren't expecting that, and your father nearly overreacted. "Watch what you-" your dad was interrupted by you. "It's fine dad, chill," you said. Molly really reminded you of Charlie with her happy mood and cheery tone in her voice. She was having a conversation with Angel when you heard a gruff voice.

"Please tell me you've got some booze," Husk said as you heard the door close. "Only champagne, but I hope thats-" you were interrupted. "I'll take anything ya got," he replied. You heard the door open again and a newscaster voice. "You know, Husker, it's not very polite to slam a door in someone's face," Alastor said. "Meh," Husk replied. "Hello, and happy anniversary!" Alastor greeted you with a pat on the shoulder. "Thank you," you replied. "Oh, hello, Al," you hear Angel say with an obviously fake flirty tone. "No, thank you," Alastor replied, and there was a smacking sound. "What was that?" you asked Angel. "Al just slapped my hand off of his arm," he replied. You laughed. "What? It's not funny!" Angel exclaimed with a pouty tone. "I mean, not too much," you responded. Angel ruffled the hair on your head.

"Hey, can we get to the alcohol already?" Husk asked. "Only if you let me-" Angel was fake flirting, but interrupted by Husk. "Fuck off," the cat demon replied. Angel giggled. "Happy anniversary you guys!" Charlie said, and you could almost picture the look on her face of pure joy. "Thank you!" both you and Angel said at the same time. He rested an arm on your shoulder. "I'm not your armrest," you told him. "You're not my armrest. You're my special, perfect, sweet little armrest," he corrected you. You giggled. "You're so sweet. I'm glad I met you. You've made my life...or, should I say, afterlife perfect," you told him. "Ditto," he replied, kissing your forehead. You smiled. This is perfect.
