Y/n POV

I wake up after a night of being with Stolas again and like usual he's already gone I noticed that there were more feathers on my sheets than usual which could be because of two things, he overly enjoyed himself last night, or he got a call from his daughter asking where he is since he rarely leaves the manor, yes I know I'm being stupid for doing this with a married man but it's hell no one really cares about being loyal in marriage down here, Nirvana doesn't want to loose her high society life style so she acts innocent like she never started cheating on Stolas from the beginning just in case Lucifer decided to do something about Stolas so that she could have Octavia and the manor.

This nightly rendezvous with Stolas started after I saw Nirvana enter a Building known to be a sex hotel here in imp City.

*Flashback*

I work in a cafe in the building across from it and I overheard my boss saying that if Lucifer knew both she and her daughter would be in for a surprise I honestly didn't care what would happen to Nirvana but Octavia was a sweet girl and a regular at the cafe I couldn't let her get hurt so I snuck the outdoor surveillance footage for evidence and went to the prince's manor to say I was shocked that he agreed to hear me out was an understatement.

After I gave him the footage of Nirvana and the other bird demon entering the hotel he was extremely angry saying something about her risking his daughters life. I at first thought I would be erased so that I couldn't tell anyone else about this but then when he looked at me all I saw was utter pain I couldn't just leave him like that so I sat down near him and we talked about anything really he admitted that he was already at odds with the king due to a grimoire getting into the hands of an imp that snuck into his home while he was going through his cycle and when he caught the imp things didn't go well from there.

*End*

I get out of my bed and get dressed when suddenly there's rapid knocking on my front door I rush over to open it and I see a very upset Octavia at the entrance I make sure no one is looking and usher the crying owl teen into my house and to the living room "Octavia? What's the matter? And how did you know where I live?" The poor girl looks at me "lord Lucifer is at my house he said he was there to pick up his wife's newest servants since neither mom or dad could get along, dad told me to come here as fast as I could and not go home until he came to get me" I gasp and look out of the front window with a view of the manor worriedly how did Lucifer find out, I look at the girl on my couch and sit next to her wrapping an arm around her shaking shoulders "Octavia sweetie I want you to lock the door after I walk out, I'm going to help your father sort this mess out, and stay away from the windows my neighbors aren't the best denizen's they might tell Lucifer you're here" she nods wiping her tears away "now I know why dad loves you, you treat us like we're regular denizen's not royalty or a free ticket to higher society" i was shocked, he told her about us! I smile and go to the closet near the front door grabbing my senbon needles in case I had to break up a fight "well royalty or not everyone deserves to be treated as an equal" I walk out and hear the door lock behind me, I rush to the manor hoping Stolas is alright and that he hadn't started a fight with Lucifer.

Stolas POV

I glare at Lucifer as he had me pinned to the ground. " I won't let you take Octavia! She has nothing to do with this!" Just as I'm about to knock him off me Lucifer seemed to freeze in place "you okay Stolas?" I smirk realizing that y/n must have used her needles on Lucifer I push Lucifer's temporarily stunned body off me and stand up "I'm fine dear but shouldn't you be home?" " I couldn't let you get hurt for something that you couldn't control at the time, Nirvana however she knew what she was doing and still did it even though she didn't have to"

Y/n POV

I look at Lucifer seeing he calmed down and heard what I said so I took my needles out of his spine letting him move around "what did she mean by something you couldn't control"
" She meant the grimoire incident, I was trying to take space during my heat cycle when that imp broke into my home" he nods and dusts off his coat "well then since it seems that you've obviously found someone else I will be taking Nirvana with me care to tell me where she is?"  I walk next to Stolas " if she's not here then she's at the sex hotel across from the cafe" Lucifer nods and leaves .

After he's out of sight and earshot Stolas pulls me close and kisses me deeply, when he pulls back I look at him wondering why he did that and he just chuckles keeping me close " let's go get Octavia and your things" I smile noticing how he seems exited and relieved before we go he tells his servants to get rid of anything of Nirvana's and and to  either cut out or paint over any photos Nirvana is in I giggle as Stolas litteraly runs toward the manor gates saying something about a new era beginning and his afterlife looking a lot brighter than before, I just smile and follow him wondering what I just got myself into.
