Charlie looked at you, a happy sparkle in her eyes. "So how was your date with Alastor last night?"

You nearly choked on your own breath when you heard Charlie's question. "What? No! I mean, what are you talking about? I didn't go on a date. Especially not with Alastor! I-Why would I have a reason to date him?"

"We saw you with Alastor walking from Feu Hades! And from what we could tell, it seemed like Alastor was being really nice to you, like, nicer than 'just friends'!" Charlie's eyes were sparkling with happiness and her voice was filled with excitement.

"I--no! You must've been seeing things. We didn't go anywhere. I didn't go anywhere. Maybe it just looked like us?" You didn't even notice that your gaze was flicking all around the room nervously.

"No, I'm sure it was you and Alastor," Charlie said happily.

"Seriously, we haven't gone anywhere! We're just friends...if you can even call us that!" you argued. You stood up nervously, as if subconsciously you wanted to run away somewhere.

"(Y/n), go ahead, you can admit it. We won't tell anyone," Charlie told you.

Just then, you noticed Alastor walking towards the front desk with Husk. "Alastor, I need a lil bit of help over here," you told him, putting an urgent tone in your voice and making sure your gaze looked desperate for help.

Alastor seemed to get the signal and told Husk to go into the kitchen (and the cat demon only went there when Alastor promised him booze) before he approached the front desk, a curious sparkle in his eyes.

"Charlie, the little rascal she is," you laughed nervously, "thinks that she saw us on a date somewhere. Isn't that crazy?" You glanced nervously at Alastor and Charlie.

"And the problem is?" Alastor asked.

Your eyes widened in surprise. "I-What?"

"I don't see a problem," Alastor told you.

"I--wh--but--we never-" you were interrupted by Alastor.

"Charlie is right, dear, and you know that better than anyone else," he said.

"What. The fuck. Happened. To not. Telling. Everyone?" you muttered.

"Charlie isn't everyone, my dear! Besides, she seems trustworthy," Alastor said with a reassuring smile.

"But what if somehow Domino hears abo-" you were interrupted by Alastor shushing you.

"You don't need to fret about it, dear! Domino won't hear of it, I'll make sure they don't!"

At this point, Charlie was having trouble containing her happiness and excitement.

Charlie squealed happily. "Omigosh guys congratulations!! I'm so happy for you!! I mean, we all knew it was gonna happen someday, but I can't believe it was so soon!!!"

"What do you mean 'we all knew it was gonna happen'?" you asked.

"It was kinda obvious. You know, with you little glances at each other-" you interrupted Charlie.

"Wait, at each other? You mean he glanced at me too?"

"Yeah," Charlie responded.

You looked at Alastor, who glanced away with a little embarrassed smile. "Is that true?" you asked.

"Of course not!" Alastor responded.

You and Charlie stared at him intensely.

"Maybe," Alastor muttered.

You smiled and Charlie leaned forwards, narrowing her eyes and intensifying her gaze.

"Yes," Alastor said quietly, glancing at the ground in a defeated manner. "But I don't believe that matters!"

Charlie scoffed. "Of course it matters! It's adorable and the perfect little love story! An overlord of hell and a normal demon, a chance meeting, love they can't admit, cute little love-filled glances, and then they finally go out and--oh my gosh we need to celebrate! A double date! YES!! We should go on a double date! Vaggie-"

"No," Vaggie responded quickly.

"But why not?" Charlie pouted.

Vaggie shot a glare at Alastor.

"Vaggie, please? It would be so much fun!" Charlie pleaded.

"If he's not coming, sure," Vaggie responded.

Charlie sighed and looked at you. "Maybe another time."

You then heard Kobe and Domino having a conversation as they walked towards the front desk together.

"Guys can't get their period, Kobe," Domino said.

"Tell that to my bleeding pussy!" Kobe retorted as he and Domino walked around a corner. He stopped as soon as he saw you, his eyes wide with surprise.

"It's okay, Kobe, maybe we can call your mommy. I'm sure she'd be completely fine to get a box of tampons for her little girl! After all, getting your first period can be quite stressful," you teased.

Kobe looked about ready to charge at you and raised his lips in a snarl. "Call me a little girl again and I swear to god-"

"Ah, and the hormones. Mood swings, PMS, bitchiness...it's all just horrible, really." You smirked, knowing that you were striking a nerve.

"It was just a joke, okay?" Kobe snapped, taking a step forwards threateningly.

Charlie butted her way into the conversation. "Okay, okay, that's enough!! Kobe, you don't need to overreact so much. (Y/n), you didn't need to provoke him. Don't fight over a few jokes, okay?"

"Okay," you shrugged.

"Fine, but be warned, if (Y/n) says any shit like that again, something will happen," Kobe said, shooting a glare at you.

That got Alastor's attention (and not the good kind of attention), which was something Kobe shouldn't want. But, luckily, all Alastor did was stare Kobe down with a look that could kill...and probably would kill if Alastor wanted.

"Now that's no way to keep arguments from happening, is it?" Charlie asked. 

Kobe rolled his eyes but stayed quiet.

"You guys, don't get into another argument. I'm going to get something to drink, and when I come back, there better not be any fighting!" Charlie told you and Kobe before walking off to the kitchen.

"Well, how are the cringy lovebirds today?" Domino asked, walking up to you and Alastor.

"I dunno, that's a question for you and Kobe," you remarked.

"Why would--oh you son of a bitch," Domino laughed.

"Yep," you chirped happily.

"Anyways, Kobe and I are going to do a lil movie night thing on Valentine's day, and we're going to your house to do it since you don't have a date and deserve to have company," Domino told you.

"But I-" you were interrupted.

"No excuses! It's going to be fun, you're going to love it, and that's that!"

"I'm not even-" you were interrupted again.

"What did I just say? We're going, like it or not," Domino demanded.

"I don't really-"

"Shh!"

"Bu-"

"No!"

"Wait-"

"Stop."

There was a pause in the conversation as Domino stared at you with a challenge in their eyes.

"I can't get a word in edgewise!" you remarked.

"Yep!" Domino confirmed.

"Oh dear god, there's no way to get out of this movie thing, is there?" you muttered.

"Not a chance! Does friday at 6 sound okay?" Domino asked.

"Not-" you were interrupted yet again.

"Great! See you then!" Domino said cheerfully

"It's my house, I can just lock you out," you said.

"You gave me a spare key. I dunno why, but you gave me a spare key," Domino told you, sticking their tongue out. "Anyways, I gotta get workin' on the dishes. Angel goes through clean dishes faster than he goes through his stash of dru--I mean, vitamins!" Domino laughed before heading in the direction of the kitchen.

Kobe stayed though, and held your gaze intently. "I'm gonna have a little chat with you later, got it?" He seemed to have a threatening tone in his voice.

"Will you really?" you asked skeptically, smirking and narrowing your eyes. 

"I need to put you in your place so you know you're not better than me, so yeah," Kobe responded.

"You're going to do what now?" Alastor asked, placing a hand on your shoulder almost protectively and tilting his head slightly, enough to be very freaking creepy and threatening.

Kobe took a moment to analyze what he just saw before his eyes seemed to light up mischievously and a sly grin made its way onto his face. He then dashed off towards the kitchen, shouting, "Domino!! You won't believe what I just saw!"
