ten.

One very dramatic night later, Noah laid on her bed next to her gorgeous girlfriend talking. "So you're what? Like some sort of super agent?" Maddie asked.

"You could say that, yes." Noah nodded, "Your life is so confusing yet absurdly cool." Maddie stated brushing a strand of red hair out of Noah's face.

"It's really not as cool as it seems. Like obviously it has some factor of coolness, but my family hasn't been in the same room at the same time in who knows how long. It's hard, it's all hard."

"I'm sorry," Maddie frowned, "It's okay. I'll be okay."

A soft knocking came from outside of Noah's door, and she quickly sat up, as Maria would enter moments later, "Not to interrupt whatever, conversations, might be going on here but, Noah I have something important to talk about with you...family matters."

"Mom," Noah whined, "Honey, this is important." Maria stated.

With a pout still painted on her face she turned to Maddie, "I'm sorry," she pressed a quick kiss to the girl's cheek, "I'll see you tommrow?"

"Of course," Maddie smiled, "Goodbye Mrs.--Maria."

Maria smiled a bit, "I'm sure I'll be seeing you soon, Maddie."

Once Maddie had gone, The fourteen year old was still pouting, and Maria rolled her eyes, "Come on, get your shoes, someone's waiting for us."

"What--who?" Noah shouted after Maria as she left the room, "Just get your shoes please!"

Noah begrudgingly grabbed her shoes walking towards the front of the apartment with them in her hand, she froze in place when she noticed the person who stood just a few feet away from her.

"Mama?"

Natasha's eyes fell on to her, "Hi, sweetness," she beamed. Noah rushed over to her throwing her arms around the woman, "I missed you," she whispered tears in her eyes.

"I missed you too, sweetness." Natasha spoke not letting go of her daughter, "Я тебя люблю" (Translation: I love you)

"Я тоже тебя люблю" (Translation: I love you too)

Natasha pulled back from the hug, studying her daughter's appearance, "God, I've missed you."

Noah smiled, watery, "I've missed you too, so much."

"I have someone I'd like you to meet, if you're feeling up to it." Natasha said.

"Who?" Noah's eyebrows pulled together, in confusion, "Your Aunt."

"My aunt? YELNEA?"

Natasha laughed, "I'm guessing that means you feel up to it?" she arched an eyebrow at her daughter, "Hell yes I am! Where is she?"

Natasha nodded her head toward the kitchen, "Making Mac & Cheese. Yelena claims she's starving, like to death."

"Natasha! Why don't you have any hot sauce! That is just atrocious!" Yelena exclaimed thinking the redhead that entered the kitchen was her sister, "Oh- you're not Natasha. You must be Noah."

"Mac & Cheese and hot sauce? I love you already." Noah hoisted herself up on to the edge of the counter, "I have so much to ask you about."

"And I have things I'd much like to ask you too. Firstly, Maria." Yelena spoke, placing the lid on the pot, "She's good to my sister?"

Noah nodded, "Of course she is. Mom saved us both at one point in time."

"Good. I'm glad."

"Okay, I have to ask, did Mama really have blue hair when you two were little?" Noah asked, with a laugh.

Yelena laughed too with a nod, "Yes she insisted upon, I even tried to copy her but Mo-Melina, wasn't very agreeable to my tactics."

Yelena and Noah's chatter traveled through the walls as Maria and Natasha sat on the couch, "Are you sure you're okay Nat?" the brunette's eyes studied Natasha for any clear injuries.

"I'm okay, maybe a cracked rib or two." Natasha stated, and Maria half glared at her wife, "It was a joke!...mostly."

Maria gently whacked the woman's shoulder, "I'm okay though, Ria. Really. I'm here with you, and Noah. And I have my sister back. For tonight everything's okay."

"You're right." Maria whispered, "I love you."

"I love you too."
