Derek and I were still changed up and Kate turns on the electric thing. It sends electricity through the wires and to us which electrocutes us. I try to not scream from the pain but after a minute or two I scream out in pain and so does Derek. Once I stop screaming I look at Kate, glaring at her. "Bitch." I say "What are you doing to them? Is that gonna kill them?" Allison asked and we keep getting electrocuted. "Oh, come on, kiddo. Don't get all ethical on me now." Kate said "What are they?" Allison asked "Shape - shifter. Lycan. Werewolf. To me they're both just another dumb animal." Kate walks over to Derek and I pull on the restraints growling at her. "Come here." Allison walks closer. Kate opens Derek's mouth. "See these right here? These are canines, also known as fangs. Made for the tearing and rending of flesh. Not something you'd find on those cute little leaf - eating herbivores, is it?" Kate asked

"This is a joke to you?" Allison asked "Sweetheart, there are werewolves running around in the world. Everything's a joke to me. How else do you think I stay sane?" Kate asked "Bitch you call this sane?" I ask "So - it was him at the high school and all the other animal attacks?" Allison asked "There's actually four of them - Another younger one like them called a Beta, and then there's the Alpha. Alpha's the pack leader - Bigger, stronger, nastier. Those - are the real ugly ones." Kate said as they were walking out the room. Kate closes the sliding door. "When were they gonna tell me?" Allison asked "They still haven't decided if they're gonna tell you." Kate said "Why?" Allison asked "Let's just say if you react badly when you find out - Not good." Kate said as they start walking away from the door.

"What do you mean,"not good"?" Allison asked "They don't think that you can handle it. They look at you and they see this frightened little girl who's gonna run crying in the corner when she finds out the truth. Me - what I see - Natural talent. Allison, you said you wanted to feel more powerful, right? Now's your chance." Kate said "What am I supposed to do now?" Allison asked "Go to school, do your homework. Go to the Formal on Friday night. Be a normal teenage girl who doesn't know anything. Trust me to get everything ready for the next part." Kate said "What's the next part?" Allison asked "You're gonna help me catch the third Beta." Kate said making me growl.

Kate is looking through Derek's jacket. "Come on, Derek. He killed your sister. Now - either you're not telling me because, well, you want to kill him yourself, or for some reason - You're protecting him." Kate gets Derek's driver license out of his wallet and walks over to Derek grabbing his chin holding the license up beside his face. "Look at that sour face. I bet you always used to get people coming up to you saying, "Smile, Derek." "Why don't you smile more?" Don't you just wanna - kick those people in the face?" Kate asked and he looks at her. "I can think of one." Derek said "Promise? 'cause if I thought you'd be that much fun - I'd let you go." Kate grabs Derek's phone looking through it. "All right, let's see. Nothing, nothing, nothing. God, I hate this detective crap." Kate said

"Are you gonna torture me - Or are you just gonna talk me to death, huh?" Derek asked "Oh, sweetie, I don't - I don't wanna torture you. I just - wanna catch up. Remember all the fun we had together?" Kate asked "Like the time you burned my family alive?" Derek asked "No, I was thinking more about the - hot, crazy sex we had. But the fire thing. Yeah, that was fun too." Kate gets all up close to Derek who lashes out at her making her laugh. "I love how much you hate me. Remember how this felt?" Kate leans down and that's when I turn and look away from them. I only turn back when I hear Derek growling and snarling at her. "Sweetheart, I really don't want to torture you." The door opens and some dude is standing there. "But he does." Kate said before walking out.

Kate is listening to a message on her phone. "Unfortunately, Derek, if you're are not gonna talk - I'm just gonna have to kill you. So say hi to your sister for me." She reaches for the switch but stops before she turns it on. "You did tell her about me, didn't you? The truth about the fire?" Kate gets up walking in front of us. "Or did you? Did you tell anybody? Oh, sweetie - That's just a lot of guilt to keep buried." Derek looks up at her. "It's not all your fault. You got tricked by a pretty face. It happens! Handsome young werewolf mistakenly falls in love with a super - hot girl who comes from a family that kills the werewolves. Is that ironic? Is it - ironic - That you're inadvertently helping me track down the rest of the pack - again? Or just a little bit of history repeating." She walks over to the switch before she stops and I knew she figured it out. "History repeating." She turns and looks at Derek and I. "It's not Jackson, is it? Oh, no, no, no, he's got a little scratch on the back of his neck, but - he's not in love with Allison." I glare and her and Derek looks at her. "Not like Scott." Kate said looking at me. I growl at her lunging towards her. My face is completely changed. "You touch my brother and your dead!" I say

Sorry for the really short chapter. There wasn't many scenes that I could write because of Hayley being kidnapped so the chapter is way shorter then normal.
