5- Just Bouncing
I stepped out of the taxi and back into the burning sunshine. America sure is hot. But I love it. My attention immediately focused on a group of people standing by the front door. Now I recognise them. Elizabeth, Nash, Will and Hayes. And a girl who I assumed was Skylynn and a man who I assumed was her father, Johnnie. We approached the group and mum greeted everyone excitedly. Rachel went up to Skylynn and they began talking to each other. I glanced nervously at Hayes. He was the only one my age, and the one I knew the best. It turned out he was staring at me, and grinned when our eyes met.
"Hey Molly," he shouted.
"Hey Hayes," I smiled back, walking over to him.
"It's so weird...I mean we've been talking over Twitter for two weeks, but to actually talk in person feels even better," he grinned.
"I know. I also can't believe we last saw each other when we were 4," I laughed. We then realised Elizabeth and my mum were staring at us.
"Nope, I definitely agree with you," Mum smiled to Elizabeth.
"About what?" I asked.
"Oh, nothing. Hayes, why don't you show Molly to her room," Elizabeth instructed, winking at mum. I was still adjusting to the strong American accents. Hayes and I shared a confused look, before he took one of my suitcases and invited me inside and up the stairs.
"So your room is next to mine, and you can use our shared bathroom which is just through here," he smiled. I nodded and followed him through to a small, modern double room. My mum was sleeping in the other spare room next door, and Rachel was sharing Skylynn's bunk bed.
"I'll leave you to unpack, and I'll just be in my room if you need anything."
"Okay, thank you," I smiled. Firstly, I unzipped both of my suitcases and took out my laptop to put it on the desk. I also plugged my phone charger into the socket near the bed, and filled the bedside table drawers up with all the crap I brought with me. I shoved my pyjamas and underwear in the chest of drawers and hung up my clothes in the wardrobe. Finally I got out my makeup bag and placed it in the desk drawer. Done! I mean we are staying here for like 8 weeks, so I might as well get comfy. As if on cue Hayes knocked on my open door. I looked over and smiled.
"Oh, hey. I was wondering if you wanted to go outside and play? Well not play, but you know what I mean-" he blushed.
"Yeah, I would love to." He grinned and we bounded down the stairs, almost knocking over Skylynn on the way.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" She said in a sassy tone. I laughed at her cuteness and followed Hayes into the garden. We headed over to the giant trampoline and started bouncing. He tried to impress me and attempted a backflip, but ended up doing a belly flop. I couldn't help but laugh at this. I showed him my backflip, which wasn't much better but at least I landed on my feet!
"Show off!" He grinned sticking out his tongue. I stuck my tongue out back and then did a double back handspring. I guess the trampolining lessons I took part in at school last year were useful after all. Hayes raised his eyebrows, smirking.
"Come on, I know you're trying to hide the fact that you're impressed," I teased.
"Okay, okay. I was very impressed."
I laughed, looking up at him. My brown eyes met his deep blue ones and we stayed like that for a few seconds, until Nash interrupted us.
"What are you guys up to?" He asked stepping outside. I broke away quickly, blushing, and so did Hayes.
"Just bouncing," Hayes said simply, causing us both to snicker.
"Right. Well it looked like you were flirting." he frowned, going back inside.
Classic Nash. We both blushed and laughed, and continued jumping.

"Hey guys!" I fake smiled. I promised I'd Skype Tanya and Ally at some point over the Summer, so why not get it over with?
"Hi! So how are you two doing?" Ally asked.
"Well...I've met an Italian boy! His name is Gianno, and he is SOOOOOOOO fit. He's 18, but he believes I am too!"
"Wait, what about Sam?" Ally smirked.
"Oh, I know he's cheating on me. So if he can cheat on me I can cheat on him, right? So are you guys seeing anyone?" She asked, quickly changing the subject. Once again, it was a competition.
"Well I'm keeping in touch with a boy from back home, but I'm also keeping an eye out," Ally smirked. She was talking about Sam. I rolled my eyes at her smugness.
"What about you Molly? Any fit boys around?"
"Well, I don't know...there's this one boy who's our age, but we are just friends-" I began, but was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in," I called, as Hayes opened the door and came and sat next to me on the bed.
"OH MY FREAKING GOD. MOLLY, YOU ARE WITH HAYES GRIER? AND YOU NEVER TOLD US?! SOME BEST FRIEND!" Ally screamed.
"Yeah, this is Hayes Grier," I winced, before mouthing 'sorry' to Hayes. He just laughed and shrugged.
"Hi," he waved.
"HI!" They both shrieked back.
"Seriously guys calm down," I sighed.
"NO! You may have known him for a while, but we have just met him so we can freak out-OH MY GOD!"
"Right. Well I need to go now. Anything you want to say lastly to Hayes?"
"Yes! Follow me on Twitter and Instagram. My username is the same for both- ally p xx.
No capitals."
"OOOOOOH! And you are following me on Twitter anyway, but my Instagram is tanyagild underscore. Molly make sure you Skype us every day with Hayes, it's the least you can do after keeping this secret from us, you're so selfish. And please, PLEASE change out of those disgusting clothes. Honey you look like a tramp, no one will ever like you if you stay like this. It's an embarrassment to be friends with you. To be honest you might as well go die in a hole when dressed like that- life is not worth living if you spend it being ugly. Which you are, whether you wear makeup or not. Lol, if you don't kill yourself then I'll do it for you," Tanya snickered. I nodded and closed the laptop, and then glanced at what I was wearing. A grey sweater and black Nike shorts, and my hair in a messy bun. Those last comments caused tears to trickle down my cheeks. I tried to discreetly wipe them away, but Hayes saw.
"Hey, just ignore them, they're just jealous. I think you look much more beautiful than they do anyway. Who wants to go out with a girl who is fake? I mean what's left of them that is real? Nothing. You are naturally so beautiful."
"Thank you Hayes," I smiled weakly.
"Wait, we won't be seeing them again, will we?" He asked worriedly.
"Don't worry, I won't be skyping them again all Summer," I smiled meekly.
"Phew," he sighed, and then looked down at my tear stained cheeks. He quickly wiped away the tears with his thumb and lay down on the bed, pulling me closer. I wrapped my arms around his torso, and must have fallen asleep straight away.
A/N I know this story is so cheesy and cringey, but I'm only publishing these chapters because it's funny reading them, and also my friend keeps telling me to update the story:')
