If there was one thing (Y/n) had always wanted to do with a romantic partner it was to spend Valentine's Day with him or her, or in this case him. After she and Haxus confessed their feelings for each other she began counting down the days until the day dedicated to love came, then on the night before the much anticipated day she was excited for the next day. Haxus was naturally confused as to why (Y/n) was so excited, although each time he asked her about it she just giggled and blushed; the way she blushed and giggled was adorable, but he still wanted to know what was going on. The love hormones she let off were very strong and the scent made him feel lightheaded, so he had to have a great deal of self control since they still didn't know to what extent the walls were soundproof. On the morning of Valentine's Day (Y/n) woke up extra early so that she could make a romantic breakfast for them to share.

Sure, she felt sleepy, but she wanted to start the day with a romantic breakfast in bed with her significant other. The castle seemed so empty with everyone still asleep, or at least she hoped they were all sleeping; sometimes Shiro woke up really early in the morning because of his nightmares, although she hoped he was still sleeping. As soon as she entered the kitchen (Y/n) thought about what to make and decided on Maajoren waffles, Nelsian delta-bacon and Olg'zed fruit juice. Having different kinds of alien food in the kitchen paired with cooking lessons from Coran meant she knew how to use each of the kitchen gadgets and how to cook each food, so thankfully it wouldn't take her very long to have breakfast ready. Before heading back to her and Haxus' room (Y/n) took a moment to admire the breakfast she made for them to share, proud of herself for making such a wonderful breakfast; she wasn't surprised to see her lover still sleeping which meant she had to turn the bunk lights on and carefully get back into bed while trying her best not to spill anything.

"Wakey wakey, hottie. I have something to share with you~." (Y/n) whispered with a sing-song voice, gently shaking his right shoulder to wake him up.

Haxus had been sleeping so peacefully and when he heard the sound of (Y/n's) voice and felt her gently shaking his shoulder he let out a groan of displeasure; he didn't know why she was trying to wake him up so early, although when he smelled something particularly delicious his curiosity was piqued. He was usually the one who woke her up since he was used to waking up early, so her waking up before her alarm went off was unusual. While (Y/n) patiently waited for her lover to wake up she couldn't help but take a little sip from her cup of juice, temporarily quenching her thirst until they could begin eating. As far as she was aware galra didn't really celebrate anything, she just hoped that Haxus would love celebrating Valentine's Day with her. Haxus' eyes fluttered open before he let out a big yawn, sitting up and rubbing the sleep from his eyes, letting his vision adjust to the dim blue lighting.

"Good morning, Hax. Happy Valentine's Day." (Y/n) sweetly greeted him, a gentle smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

"Happy what?" Haxus questioned groggily, looking at her with confusion; he wasn't familiar with human holidays, so it was understandable for him to be confused.

"Valentine's Day, it's a holiday on Earth dedicated for couples to express how much they love each other. Now that we're a couple we can celebrate it together." (Y/n) explained, fluttering her eyelashes flirtatiously while gazing into his eyes.

"Well then, happy Valentine's Day. I see that you've made breakfast for the occasion; it looks and smells delectable." Haxus responded as a loving expression replaced the confused one on his face, feeling his heart thumping in his chest after she explained the holiday better.

(Y/n) reached up and lightly caressed the sides of his face before she turned to the platter of food, thankful that the waffles and the bacon were still warm. Once they began eating she felt a warm feeling in her chest; she'd waited so long to eat breakfast in bed with someone special and now she was doing it with Haxus, it was like a dream come true to her. Haxus, on the other hand, didn't know humans set one day per year dedicated to showing one's significant other how much one loved them, especially since humans seemed affectionate with each other every day; he was trying his best not to seem to excited, but on the inside he felt overjoyed since (Y/n) surprised him with breakfast in bed. He wanted to gift her with something truly spectacular, unfortunately he wasn't sure how seeing as he couldn't just go out and get something unless he was super stealthy about it. While they ate together (Y/n) realized how warm she felt and immediately knew she was definitely blushing, although it didn't matter because she was in the presence of the man she'd fallen in love with.

"Sooo, what do you want to do later?" (Y/n) asked him suggestively, giving him the bedroom eyes even though she knew they couldn't do the devil's tango until the paladins and Coran were gone for a few hours.

"I would like to spend more time with you, darling. Perhaps you can bring some of that iced cream so we can share it." Haxus answered, nearly accidentally spitting out his juice when he saw the way she was looking at him; he could easily smell how horny she felt and he was grateful for his strong self control because otherwise they would have been very busy by that point.

"That sounds good. Hunk made a new flavor recently and it's really good, I think you'll like it." (Y/n) replied, thinking about how adorable it would be for them to share a big bowl of ice cream together.

Haxus began purring and leaned down for a kiss, puckering his lips a little and closing his eyes right before he felt (Y/n's) hands cup the sides of his face and kiss him, hearing her let out a cute little moan when their lips met. He briefly remembered seeing a bottle of bubble bath in one of the other bathrooms and it gave him an idea, all he had to do was wait for the perfect moment to surprise (Y/n) with something romantic. They kissed for a few moments prior to pulling away and smiling at each other, promptly returning to their earlier task of eating the food she prepared for them to eat together. He couldn't wait for later that afternoon when he knew the paladins would be busy; he'd taken the time to learn their schedule, so Haxus knew that he'd have at least a little time to surprise his adorable human lover with something special. Until then, he and (Y/n) were going to enjoy their alone in bed together enjoying the delicious food and juice that she brought for them.

While Coran was busy in the observation deck and the paladins were busy doing something with Voltron Haxus got busy and went straight to the bathroom he saw the bubble bath mix in. Unfortunately (Y/n) still had to do her usual daily duties, although it gave him the perfect opportunity to prepare a romantic bubble bath for them to relax in together. It occurred to him that they hadn't seen each other naked yet; he knew (Y/n) had seen him sporting an erection before, he remembered the first time he was around her during her fertile week, but they still hadn't seen each other in the nude and he hoped she wouldn't mind them taking a bath together for the first time. Haxus couldn't wait to take a bath with (Y/n); not only was it romantic but it was also something very intimate they could do together without having sex. He had to plan the bath when he knew (Y/n) would be available, thankfully he knew her schedule well enough so he could get it ready when the time was perfect since he knew everyone else would be busy for a few hours.

In the meantime, (Y/n) wished that she could have done her daily duties side by side with Haxus, unfortunately she didn't want to risk him being seen. Before she brought the breakfast in bed to her and Haxus' room she made sure to clean up and put everything away so no one would notice anything in the kitchen being misplaced, thankfully no one suspected anything and everything went well. By the time the paladins were busy forming Voltron she was finished with her chores, meaning she could spend the rest of the day with Haxus. However, when she got back to their room she nearly had a heart attack because she saw that the room was empty; she thought he had been found out until she found a note and read it. (Y/n) scurried off to the other bathroom as quickly as she could after reading what the note said, a light blush dusting her cheeks and her heart pounding within her chest; she probably shouldn't have been surprised, but the sight she was met with when she opened the door to her destination was Haxus sitting in a sexual position on the edge of the bathtub, only wearing his boxers.

"Wh-what is all this?" (Y/n) stammered when she quickly walked into the bathroom, the door sliding shut behind her; she wasn't expecting Haxus to draw a bubble bath for them, although to be honest it was very romantic of him.

"I drew a romantic bubble bath for us to soak in for one of your Earth hours. Happy Valentine's Day, darling." Haxus answered, a seductive smirk tugging at his lips whilst purring.

"You did all this for today, for us?" (Y/n) queried, feeling a mixture of flustered and curiosity as she looked around the bathroom; with the lights dimmed down to a low setting and the large round tub filled with water, along with the pink bubbles floating on the water he'd created a romantic setting.

"I did. I wasn't sure if you wanted to relax in the tub with me, especially since we haven't seen each other without clothes yet. I don't want to force you into anything you're not ready for." Haxus confirmed, speaking calmly while gazing into (Y/n's) (E/c) orbs, letting her know that he wouldn't hold it against her if she wasn't ready for him to see her-
