An important meeting
Another week passed and during that time (Y/n) and Haxus had been discussing about where they would live; a lot had changed since Lotor took the galra throne and a lot of information was outdated, so until they knew of a perfectly safe planet they could live on peacefully they remained in the castle. Lotor would make a point to update the empire's information in the main computer, he needed to make sure everything was relevant so there wouldn't be any more confusion. (Y/n) had to take an hour nap around the same time every afternoon because she felt fatigued, it was to be expected since it was one of her pregnancy symptoms. She would have to deal with throwing up sometime every evening for a few more weeks, too; (Y/n) couldn't wait for her evening sickness to be done, it had been at its worst during her ninth week, though. As for Haxus, just because the slash across his back was mostly healed didn't mean it didn't still bother him, he would never admit it out loud but he was thankful that Ulaz gave him a salve to ease any pain he might experience.
It was a hard decision to make whether to remain living in the castle or to take a chance and move out; actually finding a house to live in was easy enough because house payments didn't exist on most planets, the only thing holding them back was they weren't sure where they could live safely. Haxus decided to do a little investigating of his own because he really wanted to have a place of his own with (Y/n), it would really be better if they could live on a planet instead of a castle ship flying through space; after all, the universe was a much safer place with Sendak out of the way. By some miracle he finally found the perfect place for them to live, a moon by the name of Yavin-four where the houses were pretty far apart from each other and they wouldn't be bothered. One afternoon while the paladins weren't busy (Y/n) called a meeting in the lounge to announce that she and Haxus would officially be moving out, she knew they would help them get settled into their new home. By that point Allura came to terms that Haxus didn't mean any harm and her partial acceptance of him came after she heard about him killing Sendak on his own, she knew that she couldn't hate him and dislike (Y/n) forever; she decided to attend the meeting, too, which shocked everyone.
"Why are you here?" (Y/n) hesitantly asked Allura when she walked into the lounge, feeling a little anxious about her presence; Haxus wrapped an arm around her waist and glared at the princess, ready to protect his mate if he needed to.
"I'm here to apologize for my earlier behavior, I was wrong to react the way I did. I'm truly sorry for the way I acted." Allura sincerely apologized to (Y/n) and Haxus, genuinely feeling guilty for the way she acted a few weeks prior when Lance first found Haxus.
"I forgive you, I can understand that what I did probably wasn't what you were expecting." (Y/n) sighed out as she forgave Allura; it wasn't easy, but the other young woman was willing to humble herself enough to properly apologize out of the goodness of her heart.
Haxus could smell Allura's pheromones and knew she was truly sorry for how she acted, it put him at ease a little more because she wasn't going to harm (Y/n) who was sitting next to him on the right. Since everyone in the castle was gathering for a meeting Hunk decided to make a small snack tray for the occasion, someone was bound to be hungry at some point even though the meeting probably wouldn't last very long. Pidge and Lance were the last two to arrive, Pidge looked as though she'd been working on something because she had grease smudged on her left cheek while Lance looked like his usual self. Haxus and (Y/n) looked at each other for a moment, silently agreeing that she would be the one to officially start the meeting and give the paladins the news about them moving out. Moving out was a big deal, especially since (Y/n) had been with the paladins since day one of their adventure, she was glad that she could still keep in contact with them after she and Haxus left.
"Recently Haxus found a safe moon for us to live on and I wanted to tell you all that we're going to move out. Before anyone says anything, he made sure that it's actually safe and we even agreed on the house we're going to live in." (Y/n) said when she got up enough courage to say something, feeling a little nervous when everyone looked at her; she wasn't used to being the center of attention, but she needed to tell them.
"You did? Which one?" Shiro asked her with genuine curiosity, wondering where their desired destination was and what it was called.
"Yavin-four." Haxus answered; he hadn't been to the small moon in a long time, but according to some recent files he found it was still a peaceful place to live.
"Ah yes, Yavin-four. I haven't heard of that place for a while. I have to say that you both chose well." Coran said with a nostalgic tone, remembering when he joined the paladins of old on one of their adventures there.
"That's good to hear. Anyway, we might need a little help moving out, if it's not too much to ask." (Y/n) responded, happy to hear that even Coran knew Yavin-four was a safe place to live; she then inquired if she and Haxus could get a little help with the moving out part seeing as they were doing it so suddenly and their new house was a bit empty at the moment.
"Of course it's not too much trouble, we would be happy to help both of you." Shiro offered kindly since he knew how hard it was to start out somewhere new and how important a support network was.
Haxus didn't necessarily like the idea of so many people helping him and (Y/n) move out of the castle, he was her significant other and it made him feel a little inadequate because it was his job to provide for her, although he understood that humans had their way of doing things which sometimes included receiving help from others. The house they were going to move into already had the basic furniture such as bed frames, tables, chairs, counters and other such things, but they would need a lot of other things to actually make it a home, luckily it had a Balmeran crystal as power for everything in the large house they agreed on. Haxus made a mental note about personal things he would need to get, such as more fuzzy blankets for his and (Y/n's) future bed to make a proper blanket nest out of and other things to help her feel more comfortable during the rest of her pregnancy. He could get a simple job on Yavin-four so they could afford food and other things they might need in the future; he would only work a couple of hours a day at first because he had a mate to take care of, then when their babies got old enough he could work for however long he needed to. While Haxus was deep in thought (Y/n) was discussing moving plans with the paladins who were happy to help her and Haxus, she was glad that moving to a new home in space was far easier than moving to a new house on Earth.
"So then it's settled, we'll begin preparations tomorrow and we should be done in a movement." Coran concluded happily; after discussing who was going to help get which supplies and things for the house the meeting was done.
"What? Oh, yes, that sounds like an excellent plan." Haxus said when Coran snapped him out of his thoughts; he didn't hear all of what was said but he agreed anyway, feeling a little embarrassed about letting his mind wander to other things.
(Y/n) glanced up at her boyfriend and smirked, she knew he had his mind on other things during a good majority of the meeting; she couldn't blame him though, they were about to finally move out of the castle and into a house of their very own. Throughout the meeting everyone picked some of the food off of the snack tray Hunk prepared, it was pretty much empty after the meeting concluded. (Y/n) reached for one last mini kabob before she and Haxus stood up so they could go do their own thing while Haxus reached for a finger sandwich, with the others helping them move to their new house there wouldn't be as much work to do; the fact that Allura apologized to her and Haxus was shocking enough and even she offered to help out in any way she could. For the rest of the day until dinnertime Haxus and (Y/n) would relax in their room and either watch a movie or read something together. Haxus was worried about (Y/n) overexerting herself, so she promised him that she would take it easy so he wouldn't worry too much and she wouldn't accidentally miscarry.
