When (Y/n) arrived at the castle of lions with the other paladins and joined them on their journey she wondered when they would go home; she thought they would defeat Zarkon, bring peace to the universe and go home, but then she saved Haxus and everything changed. Honestly, she never expected to fall in love while she was so far away from Earth and with an alien no less, although she could never regret falling in love with him nor did she regret ending up pregnant unexpectedly; they would have ended up having kids together at some point during their relationship, anyway. (Y/n) always thought she would never find someone who genuinely loved her the way Haxus did, she found it ironic that she would actually have to go to outer space in order to find a significant other. She was pregnant with three babies at once which she could barely wrap her mind around, she could imagine that Haxus wasn't expecting to find love and father children, either. It would be a little strange not living with the paladins in the castle, hearing about how their day went and occasionally helping them clean their lions, but she didn't want to deprive her and Haxus’ children of a proper house.

The house they were moving to was far better than anything built on Earth; it was basically a giant pyramid with lots of windows built in the middle of an alien rainforest, the perfect place to raise children. Haxus couldn't wait to teach them how to be good hunters once they were old enough, among other things he felt would be important for them to learn. With the connections Allura had around the universe she was able to help find a lot of the things Haxus and (Y/n) needed for their house while Hunk, Lance and Pidge did a little food shopping. On the day before the big move Haxus helped (Y/n) pack up almost everything in their bedroom, including all of the things he'd given her as courtship gifts. Finally, the day came when the paladins loaded everything up into their lions and flew down to (Y/n) and Haxus’ new house, fully prepared to help get them moved in.

Allura and Coran went to go make sure the Balmeran crystal was intact while Hunk made sure the electrical systems and plumbing were working well; Pidge made it her mission to make sure the entire house was as high tech as possible. (Y/n) had to rest since she was pregnant, even though she would have preferred to help out in some way other than deciding what furniture would go where and other such things. Haxus moved a lot of the heavier things around with Shiro and Lance's help, they let him do a lot of it because they knew he wanted to show off for (Y/n). Since Haxus wasn't able to prove his strength by having a ceremonial duel with one of (Y/n's) senior family members he felt that he needed to prove it in other ways, even though he already did by killing Sendak all on his own. By the time early evening came, Hunk offered to make dinner and dessert so everyone could eat and talk; remembering some of the things they did together in the past was fun, although eventually it was time for the paladins and Coran to leave.

“Thank you, all of you, for helping us move in so quickly, it means a lot.” (Y/n) thanked each of the paladins and Coran while they all stood just outside the front door, grateful that they decided to help her and Haxus despite what happened a few weeks prior.

“Don't mention it, we were glad to help you two find a safe place to live.” Shiro replied humbly; he hoped that she and Haxus would have a prosperous life together now that they had a real home to settle down in.

“We wish you the best of luck.” Allura added politely, she genuinely hoped they would have the best of luck, especially since starting out somewhere new wasn't always easy.

“Don't forget to send us an invite when you two decide to tie the knot.” Pidge added suggestively; she knew that (Y/n) and Haxus would eventually get married and even though she wasn't much of a wedding person she didn't mind attending a friend's wedding.

“And don't forget to give us a call every so often if you ever feel lonely and need someone to talk to.” Hunk offered with a shy tone; he didn't want to pressure (Y/n) and Haxus to call every once in a while but even he would miss them.

(Y/n) smiled and assured them that they, or rather she, would give them a call just to chat every once in a while and that she would make sure to send them wedding invitations when the time came. After the others left she and Haxus went back inside of their new house and closed the door and locked it for the night, just in case there were any strangers lurking around outside. For the very first time ever Haxus and (Y/n) were completely alone together in their very own home which felt strange, especially after living in the castle of lions for so long; it would definitely be an adjustment, especially for (Y/n) who was used to living with the paladins. Haxus knelt down behind his lover and hugged her from behind, purring softly whilst gently resting his chin on her right shoulder. They finally had a home of their own with no one to disturb them, it was truly a dream come true for both of them.

“We have the place all to ourselves now, darling.” Haxus spoke affectionately after pressing a delicate kiss on (Y/n's) right cheek, feeling undeniably happy about their new living situation.

“Yeah, we do. I still can't believe that you managed to find this place, it's beautiful.” (Y/n) replied blissfully; it was getting late, but she wanted to stay up a little because of how excited she felt.

“We have a brand new bed that I'm sure will be comfortable, I would like to try it out with you.” Haxus hinted seductively, his voice dripping with lust and love as he whispered into his mate's right ear.

“Only as long as you're careful, I don't want to risk losing any of our babies.” (Y/n) responded shyly, feeling her body heat up from the thought of him gently going down on her to christen their new bed together.

Haxus let out a deep sexual growl right before he carefully swept (Y/n) off of her feet, carrying her to their new bedroom which was located on the second story of their house. The house itself was absolutely massive and had a lot of room, although when the time came it would be a pain to baby proof everything. Earlier after Shiro put a few boxes of their personal items in their bedroom, Haxus and (Y/n) put some of his courtship gifts to her on a display shelf in their room so they could always admire them. Their bed was a lot bigger than the one in the castle and far more comfortable, earlier when (Y/n) laid on it she liked how it felt like laying on a fluffy cloud. The heating had been turned on earlier since it would be a chilly night outside, (Y/n) and Haxus were just thankful that there weren't any close neighbors.

When Haxus woke up and sat up in bed he saw that (Y/n) was still fast asleep; he couldn't find it in himself to wake her up right away, so he decided to surprise her with breakfast in bed. In order to help (Y/n) prevent throwing up the previous evening he made a herbal tea which helped calm her stomach when she told him it started hurting, they were both thankful it worked well. The curtains in their bedroom were drawn closed during the previous night right before they went to bed, although some sunlight still crept into their large bedroom. With his mate being eleven and a half weeks into her pregnancy Haxus was extra protective of her and cautious as well, he didn't want (Y/n) to accidentally get hurt because of her fragile condition. Their house was large and seemed a little empty, it was to be expected since he wasn't used to it yet and neither was (Y/n), but within the next few months they would welcome three babies into the world.

Haxus prepared some Metagan cyber-bacon for breakfast since he and (Y/n) liked it along with a side of eggs, then he filled a couple of cups with (F/j). Breakfast thankfully didn't take very long to cook and soon he was on his way back to his and (Y/n's) bedroom, carrying the tray with steady hands so nothing would spill. There wasn't very much to do around the house that day which meant he and (Y/n) could just do whatever they wanted to do; heck, he could go hunting and finally bring back something to impress her with. (Y/n) didn't wake up right away after Haxus left their bed, but shortly before he entered their bedroom with a tray of breakfast she didn't feel him next to her and it woke her up. She didn't panic when she didn't see her boyfriend because he wouldn't just up and leave her, plus the hallway light was on, and then when he carefully walked in carrying their breakfast in bed she smiled.

“There you are, I was wondering where you went.” (Y/n) greeted her lover as soon as she saw him; she definitely noticed the breakfast he prepared for them and it made her realize just how hungry she felt.

“I wanted to surprise you; after all, it is the first time we woke up in our own house.” Haxus replied lightheartedly, beaming lovingly at his mate whilst he slowly walked over to the bed.

(Y/n) flattened Haxus’ half of the blankets down as much as she could so that when he sat down on their large bed he could place the tray between them. As he got closer to the bed she smelled the savory scent of eggs and Metagan cyber-bacon, causing her stomach to growl in hunger; she couldn't even remember the last time they ate breakfast in bed together, so naturally it was a very nice surprise to wake up to. Haxus mainly kept his eyes on the cups of (F/j) on his way to the bed to make sure they didn't fall over and nothing spilled out of them, he didn't want to accidentally ruin any of the food he cooked. He felt a sense of relief flood through him once he made it to their bed, sat down and masterfully placed the tray between him and (Y/n) without spilling a single drop of juice. (Y/n) thanked Haxus for the delicious looking breakfast before they began eating, it made Haxus feel happy that he could finally begin the further stages of traditional galra courtship.

“It's nice to finally be doing this. Eating breakfast in our own bed in our own home, I mean. It feels almost too good to be true.” (Y/n) said at some point shortly after she took a sip from her cup of juice, her gaze meeting Haxus’ when she spoke.

“Yes, it is. Last night was very nice as well.” Haxus responded, particularly happy with himself the previous night when they put their bed to proper use.

“Yeah, that was nice too, although I wasn't expecting to be that turned on. I feel so well rested this morning after sleeping so well.” (Y/n) replied, feeling flustered when she remembered the previous night when she and Haxus fooled around in bed a little; because of her condition he'd been extra gentle with her, and then the sleep they got had been amazing.

“As a side effect of carrying a litter of kits your libido might increase.” Haxus told (Y/n), a sexy grin playing across his lips when he saw a light blush appear on her face.

(Y/n's) eyes widened and she began to feel a little worried; exactly how high would her libido get during her pregnancy? She remembered that sometimes women carrying a fully human baby could get pretty horny, but their babies weren't fully human which meant her sex drive could possibly skyrocket as time went on. The young woman didn't dwell on it for too long because the delicious scent and sight of breakfast was calling to her, she could never resist a good meal. Neither (Y/n) nor Haxus knew exactly how high her sex drive would get and when it would skyrocket, thankfully Haxus was always willing to satisfy his mate and himself at the same time when it did. Haxus could hardly wait to go out hunting later that afternoon, his need to hunt prey had been bothering him for a long time and now he had a girlfriend to impress, he just hoped that his senses were still sharp. Life was going well for both of them and Haxus couldn't wait for (Y/n) to eventually have a visible baby bump, but at the same time he wanted to cherish every moment with her before she gave birth.
