A couple days later, I was sitting in the back with Steve on my break when I heard my brother.

"I'm Dustin." He greets. "I'm Robin." She says back. I ignore it, mainly because I want to see Steve's reaction. Steve was currently throwing a marker in the air and catching it.

"Pleasure to meet you. Is he here?" Dustin asked. "Is who here?" Robin asks. Steve's head perks up before he runs out of the room. "Henderson!" Steve exclaimed. I laughed before following him out. "Hey, Dustin." I greeted. Dustin and Steve pulled away from their hug.

"You look like a dork." Dustin teases. "Oh shut it. You're just jealous that I work with your boyfriend and you don't." I teased. "I have a girlfriend, thank you very much. And technically, Steve's your boyfriend." Dustin smirks. "In middle school, drop it." I spoke. "Anyways, since when does my little brother have a girlfriend?" I laughed as I leaned against the counter. "We started dating a couple days after we got to camp. Her name's Suzie, and I wouldn't have gotten her if it wasn't for Steve's girl advice." Dustin laughs as he jokingly pats Steve on the back.

"What's his advice then?" Robin asked. "Well, become friends first so the relationship develops. And when you think they like you, try and kiss her. If she leans in, then you're good. If she doesn't, you just embarrassed your self." Dustin shrugs.

Wait! That's exactly how Steve and I became so close.

My eyes looked up at Steve. Steve's eyes were adverted to the ground, he was purposely trying to avoid my eyes. "Well, good for you." I smiled as I turned my attention back to Dustin.

After work, I drove home and quickly changed before jumping on my bed before getting comfy with a book. My mind couldn't seem to focus on the book though. All I could think about was, what if there's something larger out there, worse than demo-dogs or demogorgons? Could we really take it down?

"You ok?" Dustin asked from the doorway. "Yeah, Just have a lot on my mind." I said as I put my book down. "Is this certain thing on your mind, Steve, perhaps?" He smiles as he sits down on my bed. "No actually. What if there's something worse than the demo-dogs or demogorgons out there? Can we really take it down?" I asked. "Probably, you and Steve are a force to be reckoned with." Dustin jokes.

"How is it that you're in a actual relationship before I am?" I laughed. "It's because I'm the better looking sibling?" My brother laughs. "Shut up!" I laughed as I hit him with a pillow.

"No but seriously, you should ask Steve out." Dustin calmed down. "I don't know, we're not as close as we used to be in high school. I feel like everything changed after the snowball." I sighed. "What happened at the snowball? I didn't see you there?"

"That's because that's for the middle school, and I was a senior at the time. Anyways, while we were waiting for you outside we-." I started, but cut my self off. Should I really tell him. "We what?" He asked as he jokingly hit me with a pillow. "We almost kissed but you ruined it." I softly said. "Awe come on! You guys deserve to be together." Dustin groans as he leans back onto my bed. "Well, you ruined it. So thanks." I laughed as I leaned back so my back was against my headboard.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know what was happening when I walked out." Dustin laughs. "It's fine, I'm just messing around. You can't tell Steve about this, but." I paused. Do I really want to expose my secrets to my little brother?

"Would you stop doing that! I want to know!" He laughs before throwing a pillow at my head. "Fine! I like him!" I exclaimed. Dustin cheered and fell off my bed. "It's not that big of a deal, he doesn't see me like that." I shrugged. "You're lying to your self. I know Steve, and when he makes jokes with his crush around, he tends to look at them to see if they found it funny. That's all he does with you!" Dustin laughs as he gets off the ground and climbs back onto my bed.

"Or he's just friendly and needs assurance his jokes are funny?" I questioned. Dustin playfully glared at me. "You're right, Steve's jokes are funny and he knows it." I bit my nails.

"Angel! You have a phone call!" Mom yells down the hall. "Who is it?" I shouted back. "Some boy named Steve?" She shouts. Dustin and I share a look before running to the phone.

"No! He called for me!" I exclaimed as I pushed my brother out of the way and grabbed the phone from my moms hands. She laughs at the two of us before disappearing into the living room.

"Hey, Henderson." Steve greets. "Hey, Harrington." I blushed as my brother tries to listen to our conversation. "I was wondering if you wanted to meet up somewhere?" He asked. My brother silently cheered beside me. "Dunno, what's in it for me?" I smirked. "Maybe Ice Cream? Maybe a movie? Maybe both?" Steve laughs. "You had me at ice cream. What movie?" I asked. "Breakfast Club came out a couple months ago, I know how you love Anthony Michael Hall." Steve answers.

"Correction, I like the guy who plays Bender now." I giggled. "Fair enough, you down?" He asks. "I'm down. What time should I meet you there?" I asked as I watched my brother cheer. "I'll pick you up at 7?" He asks. My eyes glanced up above the stove to meet the clock. It was 5:34.

"I'll be there." I said. "Cool, see you later." Steve says before hanging up. I put the phone on the wall before staring at it.

"How do you feel?" Dustin asked with a smile on his face. My eyes flicked to my brother, which in turn made my lips curl into a smile. "Eek!" I squealed as I skipped to my room to get ready.
