Ivypool's POV

"I love you Ivypool~"

The words echoed in her mind, over and over again. She was stunned at what just came out of his mouth. She couldn't find the words to describe her emotion in that very moment.

"Hawkfrost, I never would have thought this would happen..."

He gave me a genuine look of doubt and worry. Seeing him this way made me so guilty. He usually was a cat who would take worry and insults lightly, so this was unnatural.

"Me too.." she managed to choke out, almost trying to hide her emotion.

I saw his eyes still stare through me...

"Are you lying to me Ivypool? I just poured out my heart and soul, and I only get a 'Me too...'. Really?!" he said, his face clearly not liking my response.

"Hawkfrost, I really do! I just couldn't express it without choking up," she said as she stared into his crystal blue eyes, almost losing focus on what she was talking about.

"How am I supposed to know now?! Ugh! I knew this was a bad idea..." he muttered to himself, as I walked towards him and wrapped my tail around his.

"I love you too Hawkfrost~" I breathed as I leaned against his muscular body, wondering if we could stay like this forever.

We didn't move.

We sat there for what felt like years.

And I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure if Hawkfrost did...

Hawkfrost's POV

I couldn't tell what I was feeling...

What I relieved that she accepts these feeling and happy that she feels the same...?

Or disgusted and betrayed that she couldn;t muster up the courage to tell me the first time properly..?

Once she leaned on me, I could feel her steady breathing, her chest rising and falling in perfect rhytmn.

I enjoyed her presence and we just sat, thinking about what is to come and how this would play out...

Hey Y'all! No, I am not dead, just been a little too busy, but I plan to become more and more active in the coming months. I have gotten so many requests to update my stories and I am more than happy to provide you with that, just it will take some time.
