After a day of travel, the youth take refuge in a small town, known for its acceptance of kids. With adults securing the protection of the young and in return, them helping with their powers as many ways as they can, it's all seemingly perfect.

That is, until the dead body of the sheriff is found at his desk the morning after the new kids came. There is now a case to solve - but what they don't know is this is the start of many.
