"Haven...." I breathed out as he stand their with an emotionless face and tensed body.

I was frozen in spot. I can't help but trace my eyes over his restless form. His hair was messy and grease looking like it haven't been taken care of in months, his clothes was wrinkled and stained with so much of dirt, his body looked beaten and bruised to the pulp. Overall he looked terrible and I felt my heart ache at the sight of him but I wasn't going to pity him, after all he rejected me and make me felt depressed and worthless.

Strong arms snaked around my waist pulling me into its chest, I already know its parker cause no other male would dare touch a mated female.

"Hey babe, missed me?" Parker voice was husky and seductive as he trailed kisses on my neck making me blush because the entire pack eyes were on us.

I looked around and immediately my eyes was connected to an uncaring soulless person who almost ruin me by rejection! Call me pity but once you've felt that pain, I'm sure you'll understand.

"Parker!" I scolded as he pouted against my neck and composed himself since the pack was watching as Alpha cleared his throat loudly catching our attention.

"As you all probably know by now, parker friend here is very sick and he needs this pac-"

"No I don't!" Haven growled angrily clenching his jaws and fists."I didn't ask for any of this! parker and I are friends, yes, but I can fend for myself! I have and will continue, I don't like packs and their untrustworthy people even if you claim to be loyal! I'm an independent lone wolf! I don't need this!" He ranted as his voice deepened and grow deathly.

I feel uncomfortable being turned on by his deathly voice. I clenched my fist together the longer he ranted from moaning out loud at how intoxicating his scent is and his manlier physique.

His voice has gotten way sexier by time and his mussels definitely speaking for themselves. The more I looked at him the more I realized just how much he have changed. His jaws are more defined and sharpen, his hair has been cut short and his eyebrows and eyelashes thicken during time as he grew a bead making him look older than her really is. I find it shocking that I haven't noticed that until now....I guess I was really in shock considering the whole pack got here and I was still frozen in place until parker showed up.

Growls filled the air as haven spoke angrily, "I honestly pity you all" he said with distaste.

"Pity us!?" Daron yelled from the crowd. "We are the ones that should pity you! Look how awful you look and you smell like rotten meat!" He shouted in pure rage.

"ENOUGH!" Alpha yelled, "Stop being so childish, all of you! He clearly doesn't like pack, hence being a lone wolf now that's in the past, I'm your Alpha and you will obey me!" His Alpha voice has taken over and I would've been scared if I haven't encountered this side of him already.

The pack bowed and submitted themselves to him, fearing that they'll get punished for disagreeing.

"Isabella, Laney, Stacy and Harper, have made you all dishes to welcome his presence at this pack. I expect you to treat him fairly?" He command as he clasped his hand formally after pointing to us.

They all nod and kept their heads bowed, I quickly bowed my head but sneaked a glance at Alpha to see him smirking proudly.

I smile and quickly casted my eyes downwards for him not to see me.

"Alright!" He shouted getting our attention, "Who wants food!?" He yelled excitedly as he led us into the dinning room.

I realized then that I haven't called my parents since parker and i have gotten 'married' and moved on in our life.

We didn't actually get married though, parker and i just told them that to cover up the fact that we are werewolf and that we were mated.

I frowned and touched my neck were my mark used to be...I feel so weird not having my mark on my neck but apart of me, Carolina, felt relief.

Parker came up to me frowning also as he rubbed my back, "Whats wrong?" He asked as he turned me to face him.

I smiled sadly, "its our mark.... but I don't have to worry for long cause your home now" my voice takes on a more seductive tone as I unbuttoned his shirt and nibbled and suck on his chest knowing it'll get him excited.

He groaned and was about to pull me in but I backed away, "I'm such a tease" I purred.

He growled possessively taking me by my waist and pulling me into his chest.

His hot breath fanned my neck as he left opened mouth kisses making me feel hyper for more, my eyes shut closed as I moved my neck more so he can get access "Parker..." I moaned out as he stopped immediately and backed away.

My eyes opened at his sudden movement in confusion, he just looks at me and smirks, "who's the tease now?" I growled and walked away with a pout as we neared the dinning room.

the smell of our dishes filled the air and I can't help but felt giddy and bite my lip in anticipation.

We sat down and wait for Alpha to begin, which really was not a long wait cause as soon as we sat he dug in like he haven't eaten in days.

I smiled and dug in to it smiling proudly at how flawless our food taste, I looked up to connect my eyes with parker who sat beside me but it zeroed in on haven.

I couldn't look away as we held eye contact. He was watching me intently as I ate like a pig. I suddenly blushed from embarrassment looking away to hide my heated neck and cheeks.

"Why are you blushing?" Haven asked loudly making everyone's head turn to us.
